Alexander Michael's - Charlotte - Photo album

Not only is the bar giving cozy old times tavern vibes, but the neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. I was here during the holiday season and it was absolutely charming to walk around the neighborhood. Food is solid, service friendly, lot of regulars. Great place for a comfort meal.
Haven't been in a while...but it hasn't lost its touch! Located in the historic district of Charlotte it looks like a storybook! You will never be disappointed! I always recommend the she-crab soup, the blackened catfish entree, London broil...it can be a bit tendony sometimes but it is still amazin
Such a cute romantic place to go for a first or second date…. And then come back again. The food is amazing. What it is IS soooo good. Great selection beers on tap also. They’re usually pretty busy so you might have a little wait but what is perfect about that is you can grab a drink from the bar or
I'm always on search of good pasta so when i saw a few reviews mention the honey glazed chicken pasta i wanted to give it a try and it did not disappoint! Great portion size & it was delicious! Will definitely be back for the pasta. My fiance' said his hoagie was good! Cute location, i could see how
I always love it when we come here. This is always been a place me and my family goes to. The staff is always so nice, friendly and up on their tables. Most importantly, every time we enter the door someone is always right their to greet us and are ready to seat us immediately. This makes it so welc
Stopped here for lunch with some friends. This was a place that was on my list of places I’ve been wanting to try. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. I was impressed by how delicious and tender the chicken was and the fries were legit homemade french fries!! They used a pretzel b
This place is amazing! Our server Jaime was absolutely great. She recommended menu items even without us having to ask. My wife and I shared the fried pickles and let me tell you, those pickles are a must-try. Hear me now, believe me later! My wife got a salad and it was huge. I got the blackened fi
Nice, old time, pub feeling. Parking is non-existant, so prepare for a hike to build up your appetite. You're in luck, food is great. Service was very good, and pleasant to deal with. Pricing is a bit on the high side, but not out of line. Place has some history as well. I'd recommend this place.
I couldn't wait to try this restaurant. The reviews were good, and the pictures showed a cozy atmosphere. So i convinced my husband it would be worth the 15 min drive. We were not disappointed. Alexander Michael's is located on the out skirts of the city in a small picturesque neighborhood. The ow
We ordered the black bean hummus, fried pickles, veggie burger and blackened cat fish. Everything tasted great. The hummus was very mild and it lacked extra flavor. The veggie burger also needs a little more of seasoning. I removed the red onion because the flavor of the quinoa pattie was overpowere
Their reputation speaks for itself. The food is really great but not pretentious. Given its location, it’s well known and the setting, I could see a restaurant trying to overcharge but it’s very reasonably priced.
Based on the 4.5 rating at this place we gave it a try to dine in and it was worth it. The ratings didn't lie. I had never been to Charlotte before and based most of our dining on customer ratings. Well, you can rest assure that dining at this place will not disappoint. I had pasta and it was delic
What a great find. I'm from Louisiana and normally do not order seafood outside of state, but decided to give it a try. The blackened fish sandwich was better than most I have had in New Orleans. Atmosphere was cozy and homely feel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If I travel back to
What a hidden gem! We were passing through Charlotte and wanted a "local" place for dinner. We found Alexander Michael's and we are so happy we did. It's in the adorable 4th Ward district. We got there at 7:45 on a Wednesday night and there was a constant stream of people coming in and out. It s
This place is a hidden Gem! You have to try this place. From the very attractive neighborhood to the old building it's in. The atmosphere of an old time pub is awesome and the food is great. The service is top notch! The Shrimp Marsala was awesome and the London Broil Flank Steak was ok.
I LOVE this building! It’s in this little section of 4th ward that is just beautiful. You feel so tucked away from the city, it’s almost hard to imagine you’re right in the middle of it. The food is good (I’m a sucker for tater tots and theirs are great). I have the palette of a child, so I mostly l
Always a delight to be here. We ordered What it is, Black bean burger and for the first time dessert - Blueberry Lemon cheesecake. The burger wasn’t as I expected but that’s fine we tried something new. What it is is my all time favorite dish to order. This time ordered extra sauce yummm. Blueberry
Such a wonderful spot in Charlotte nestled amongst the historic Victoria era homes in the 4th Ward. Owner on site seating patrons, great service, and fantastic food made this a memorable Friday night. Now I know why nobody told me about this place...they wanted it all for themselves!
