This is the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. The sauce was cheesy and had chunks of bacon, then the grits were in a cake friend to perfect crisp with the smooth cheesy bacon Sauce and perfect shrimp!! I've also never had a better waitress... My favorite new place!

Fenwick's is fabulous all of the time. Fresh food deliciously and creatively prepared, fabulous wait staff, and the best cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings that money can buy. Their full meals are to die for.....always scrumptious.

Food is fantastic and service is superb! We had lunch here yesterday. I had the tuna salad croissant with fries and she had the ham and swiss sandwich. We shared a piece of pecan pie that was 'to die for'! We had ice cold Coca-Cola for lunch but I noticed they also had a great wine selection. I figured they would though since one of the owners is also a Senior Instructor of Beverage Service and Wine & Spirit education at the famed culinary institute - Johnson & Wales University.

excellent brunch............great menu with a lot of choices. Friendly service, definitely can tell this is a true family business. It is small so note that, may have a wait, but can say it is worth it for sure!!!!!

Always excellent. My mom has dementia and has been going there for years and is one of the few places she still recognizes. Everyone there always treats her so well and we greatly appreciate it. Not too many places left in Charlotte that can make you feel like you’re in a small town.

Found this restaurant by looking through Google revues that were close to the venue I was headed to. Did not disappoint! It's going to be my go to when I visit Charlotte. Food was incredible and the staff was so friendly. Seafood bisque was the best I've ever had! Took home bread pudding and was sad that I didn't bring more.

A small neighborhood type restaurant. The food was excellent (especially the bread pudding), the service was great and the prices were in line with current prices. There is limited free parking in the restaurant lot.

A Charlotte staple, I greatly enjoyed the grilled trout with lemon pepper finish. Pricing was great, staff was great and accommodated our ad hoc group of 9 w9thout fuss. A nice drink selection from taps to wines. Do not miss out on their tomato bisque--my goodness, it's enough to bring one back.

We stumbled upon this place last night and it was nothing short of awesome. The staff and owner were truly gracious and they threw in a first-timers dessert! It’s like we ran into long-lost cousins. Truly gracious hosts. Food was great and the portions could have satisfied a small army. We have added this gem into the rotation. Can’t wait to try the po boys!

Very cozy and casual location with inside and outside seating. Small bar with can beers available. Food was great. I had the chicken salad croissant and I am pretty sure the croissant was freshly baked. Staff was super nice and the food came out amazingly fast! Definitely recommend.

Had the ribeye special. It was good and they served it more like a prime rib. Will go back to try the bread pusding.

What a wonderful neighborhood joint! The chicken salad croissant was top notch. They griddled it on all sides, which gave it a perfect bite, and the chicken salad that filled it was delicious! My better half had the shrimp po boy. The shrimp were huge, tender, and plentiful. The service was excellent, very attentive. You can tell this place has regulars, and they can add two more to the list!

I absolutely love Fenwicks! Weekend brunch is hardy and delicious with a variety of drink specials. Burgers have a great chargrilled flavor and are cooked to perfection. Shrimp PO Boy is loaded with plump, juicy shrimp and the onion rings are light and crispy. Service is always spot on, food comes out fast and servers are very attentive. Parking can be tricky but is worth it.

We're always on the hunt for really good neighborhood restaurants. You know, the friendly establishments that serve great food at reasonable prices. Well, Fenwick's has won our hearts (and stomachs). I went with the Fried shrimp, my wife went with the grilled chicken salad, and our daughter went with the Chicken Fenwick. The portions were generous, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable! Oh yes, the key lime pie is out of this world!! The only problem we had was deciding whether to go with a regular menu item or one of the several specials they offer every day. Fenwick's will now be one of our favorite stops whenever heading uptown!!

Good classic American cuisine, like you had growing up and going out to the local restaurant that's just nice enough for your dad to change his shirt. The trout was very good, and the collards were great as well, coming from a Western North Carolina boy. Cozy atmosphere, a bit cramped but worth it..

I went to Fenwicks with friends about 20 years ago and had good memories. So when my husband and I drove by today we stopped in to have lunch. It’s a classic sandwich & sides, chef salad kind of place. The food came out quickly and was good for a simple lunch. I will say though, that the place always packed and we were the only people in there under 70.
