Lou and Kelly provided exceptional service. It was our first time here and they were wonderful.
The food we got was Tacos Al Carbon Crispy Pork Belly (left) and Chicken Fajitas (right). It was muy delicioso! Especially the pork belly, very savory.
I will definitely come back here!
Came for brunch. Food service was a touch slow but we were a party of 8 and when we asked for refills, salsa, etc. the staff were very prompt.
Everything was good. Everybody enjoyed their meal. The dining room is spacious and even when it was full it wasn't so loud that our table couldn't carry on a conversation.
Pancakes were excellent and will probably be my next order.
Solid recommendation for weekend brunch.
Love this place! Food was great, service was friendly and efficient, just enough kchdvking in and enough time to relax. Never felt rushed. Margarita on the rocks was tasty. Salsa nice and spicy! Parking deck right across the street. Lively patio when it gets cooler. Beautiful funky old remodeled building, great atmosphere.
I want to come back!
Buddy and I went to this place on a whim and didn’t know what to expect, as we are not locals.
Let me tell, we loved it.
Service was great, was greeted and seated right away. Hostess put us at a table that we asked to be put at so we could have a quieter dinner. And our server Tyler S, was absolutely fantastic.
Get seated, Tyler notices we’re a little hangry and worn out. Immediately hits us with the chips and salsa. Chips were hot, perfect crisp and saltiness balance. Their homemade salsas were fantastic, from their medium heat salsa to the tomatillo salsa, which we crushed several times.
Now for the entrees, believe my buddy got the tampiquena, which came out at a perfect medium rare. This is where I want to give Tyler a big shout out. My buddy was talking about how he’s craving Chimichurri sauce, and we didn’t see it on the menu, when his entree was brought out, Tyler brought him out a side of Chimichurri. We had to know, so we asked if he had them custom make it for him, but just hearing what he was craving and bringing it out, top notch service.
Now I got the carne asada, which is a bone in rib-eye here. It was hands down one of the best steaks I have ever had. I tend to avoid ribeyes at restaurants because most of the time they’re a let down compared to how I sear them at home. I’ve had very few worth writing about. This one was hands down, the best ribeye I have ever had. It was seared to perfection, the salt and spice crust was phenomenal, it was worth every penny.
The portions are well worth the price here, it’s not your typical restaurant that up charges and gives you a kids meal sized platter like half the restaurants do in northern Virginia and the dc area.
So for service, price, food, and everything else between, would highly recommend this restaurant. Hope to get to visit them again one day, or that they start building them out in the Midwest.
I stumbled upon Superica Tex/Mex restaurant when I noticed their intriguing sign. And when I saw the sandwich board outside, proudly proclaiming their siestas, I simply couldn't resist giving it a try. Let me start by saying that the decor is a tad perplexing. It seems to be torn between a barn and some sort of industrial building. Although I understand that the restaurant is housed in a reclaimed industrial space, the mishmash of materials just doesn't quite work. However, that's truly the only negative thing I have to say about this place.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and genuine welcome. Within a minute, I was comfortably seated. Since it was brunch time, I decided to order one of my childhood favorites - chorizo, eggs, and potatoes. The anticipation built up quickly, and before I knew it, my plate was placed before me. Oh boy, did it look tempting!
The first bite was nothing short of heavenly, and with each subsequent bite, the dish continued to amaze. It was the most delicious chorizo and eggs I've had since my beloved grandfather passed away. I can't help but say, bravo! Superica, you not only satisfied my cravings, but you also allowed me to relive a beautiful memory I hold close to my heart. And to top it all off, you even provided me with a brand-new favorite spot!
Superica Tex/Mex restaurant has truly won me over. Despite the slightly confusing decor, the warm reception and the mouthwatering brunch have made me an instant fan. I highly recommend paying a visit to this establishment and indulging in their delightful Tex/Mex creations. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Well if you're looking for authentic Tex Mex this is it! Being from Texas we really miss the food and this is the only thing that we have found to satisfy that craving. Their breakfast brunch menu is amazing and of course the rest of the menu has an amazing variety and does not disappoint.
We come here often for brunch with our 5 and 3 year old and we’re always seated quickly and the staff is always extremely attentive and friendly. (From the hostess to the servers and the food runners - they’re all wonderful) They have fresh / unique salsa that is soo good and is a hit for our kids so it keeps them occupied until our meal comes. It’s nice to have a restaurant that we can go that’s enjoyable for the entire family. Oh and the pancakes are OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD and massive (one pancake is the size of the entire plate - order with caution!)
Tried their wkend brunch. Very chill atmosphere, beautiful decor. Brunch menu is limited but what they have works for them. I order double stack of pancakes not knowing they would come bigger than my head haha. Needless to say I could only finish half of one, so boxed up the rest to take home. Whatever kind of syrup concoction they use is amazing. It’s buttery, but not heavy and it comes out hot. Absolutely amazing. If you’re lucky enough to find it, street parking is free on the wkends.
Absolutely Amazing!!!
It was our first time here, but we had the best guest services from our waitress Cynthia. She gave excellent recommendations on what was good on the menu for pescatarians and other local favorite dishes. We had the shrimp tacos and the chips and salsa was to die for too!!!
We will definitely be returning for more good food, great vibes and the outdoor seating area views. I can’t say enough good things about this place, but I know this will be a local favorite for us!!
My friends and I found Superica from walking around at Front Porch Sundays and we are so glad we did! Jose was our bartender and he was absolutely amazing! He suggested great food and drinks and even made my favorite cocktail that is not well known in the south. The ingredients were incredibly fresh. One of my friends has a severe gluten allergy and was able to eat and drink a wide variety of foods. My favorite part of the day was Jose picked up on my love for spice and recommended a jalapeno pineapple tequila martini with a tajin rim. 😍😍😍 It was so delicious!!
Definitely our favorite spot in Charlotte! Service is great, staff is friendly and the food is AMAZING. I thought I wasn’t a fan of tex mex, but Superica has changed that! Must try the chilaquiles and queso fundido! They serve it with fresh homemade flour tortillas! They also have really great drinks! I’m looking forward to my family visiting so that I may bring them here! Thank you for the hospitality!
Great location with lots of seating inside as well as out.
Our server was extremely helpful with suggesting food items and also nearby restaurants for items they did not offer (dessert).
Chips and salsa were good.
I ordered chicken quesadillas which were great and pretty good size portions.
My friend had done a combination plate which she enjoyed.
Absolutely amazing. This was our first time here. Our waitress Grace was very nice and we received best service. Food was delicious and i definitely recommend this place.
Fresh, authentic Tex-Mex meals. Salsa and chips were plentiful. Portions were small for the price. Staff were very friendly and provided good food and drink recommendations. Outdoor eating area was spacious and unique!
We visited this place for the 2nd time on Sunday for lunch. The salsa and chips are really delicious to keep busy with. Guacamole is okay, fresh mashed avocado without tomatoes onions or Serrano pepper. It’s basically eating plain avocado. I got the ribeye steak it was slightly undercooked. I was able to eat about half and It became too raw. Manager I think his name was Scott. He got a new ribeye remade for me and it was cooked perfectly. Sauce over the potatoes was delicious but I didn’t care for the potatoes. Our kids enjoyed their burgers. This place has good food. I have to say that food takes a while to come out. Manager was very attentive and on point. Service was okay. Definitely would recommend.
Awesome Tex-mex restaurant in the heart of Southend! The drink menu has many classics with modern southern twists as well as some unique additions I haven't seen elsewhere. The food is phenomenal, I highly recommend the enchiladas in particular.
