We enjoyed the food everything was good. The hot hotdogs had great flavor and the chicken strips were seasoned and fried perfect. Reasonable prices. If you don’t want boring hotdogs definitely come here. My son really loved those tater tots.

***Enjoy hot dogs for $3 after 3pm on Tuesdays*** (on regular days it’s about $5.99) I just loved the veggie hot dog and they have a lot of toppings to choose from. The person at the register recommended the toppings based on my spice requirements and I just loved every bit of the hot dog. Mu husband enjoyed the turkey hotdog with bean chili. Must try their house made sriracha honey sauce. It was just mind blowing!! Freshly cooked chips with ranch was good too. The buns used for hot dog were soft and moist which I have never found anywhere else. They were perfectly toasted. Amazing service- person at the register and the waitress were so patient and had a big smile on their faces. They are so welcoming!! Retro ambience makes it more special to dine-in. Hot dog options - veggie, pork, beef, turkey

I am so glad I found this place! There was a large group of (what I guess) friends enjoying the meal and no one rushed them to leave or hurry up. I enjoyed a frank and a bratwurst. The dog was great it had bacon and queso. The bratwurst was okay. I just wasn't used to the texture. The sweet tea was perfect. It wasn't too sweet. The employees were friendly and the vibe was great.

Having been in Charlotte 25 years, I'm ashamed I'd never been here prior.... haha!! We finally decided to go for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great and really fast service! Then they wandered around and made sure we had sauces we needed, refilled drinks, and were generally very friendly and tentative to people dining! We'll definitely be back before another 25 years goes by!!!

Love the retro look! Food was great! I had the plain hotdogs with (yes) ketchup and tater tots. Dogs had that old-fashioned taste that reminds me of the string of hotdogs you'd see in Saturday morning cartoons. My husband had the Italian Sausage with House-made chips. He thought it was delicious. The chips were thick and crunchy. I would recommend a visit to JJ's Red Hots. The place is about the size of any fast food chain, but they do have outside and rooftop seating for those nice days.

Loved eating here. The people were all so nice. Saw on Triple D and tried several items. The ranch with the tots were great and the chili on the chili cheese hotdog was the bomb! The only thing I would change is to have the cheese melted a bit on top and onion rings were a bit greasy (although I still ate them all haha). Also really enjoyed the Kasekreiner because it was a little more interesting with it's toppings than the bratwurst was. The bread on those last two mentions were fantastic. Would eat that off a flip flop.

I am a hotdog foodie. This place was outstanding! Their variety of dog combos made it easy to try different things. My wife ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I made fun of her for ordering chicken at a hotdog place. Let me tell you, I ate part of her sandwich and it was the best Nashville hot sandwich I have ever had! The prices weren't bad and the staff was super friendly!

I really enjoy a good hotdog, so my expectations were high. I was not disappointed, top notch. I ordered the coney and tar heal dog with onion rings. All of it amazing, but two things stood out, they use Martin's potato buns(my personal favorite) and their onion rings are in my top 5 best onion rings. We also got a daily special dog, the day we came it was some type of Korean BBQ dog, was very good as well. Definitely impressed with the whole experience, I highly recommend and will be visiting again very soon.

We were so excited to find this gem. I recommend the hot dog with the pimento cheese. It was out of this world. Our kids got the kid's chicken tenders, and even those were delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the onion ring. We were also excited to see Sundrop and Cherrwine on tap. We highly recommend giving this place a try!

JJ's Red Hots is a fantastic spot for a quick bite that delivers on flavor. As someone who has visited the Windy City numerous times, I can confidently say that their Chicago dog is spot on. The smoked wings at JJ's are simply incredible. The smoky flavor permeates the tender meat, resulting in a delicious and satisfying bite. Whether you like them saucy or dry-rubbed, these wings are a definite winner. However, the onion rings fell a bit short. While they tasted great, they lacked the desired structure. They were a bit too soft and didn't have that satisfying bite that makes onion rings so enjoyable.
