Everything is delicious, but I most commonly go in on weekends for the amazing sandwiches on their sausage and cheese biscuit. The sweets are wonderful too. Love this place!

Their coffee is not only delicious, but the staff is awesome and friendly as well. A great place to grab a bite, have coffee with friends or get a little bit of work done. Free wifi and outlets are a plus :)

Had a great experience at this location — the staff was very friendly, the food my friends and I enjoyed was fresh and delicious. The lattes and baked goods are always wonderful! The only drawback is Sunflour Baking Company is so busy and all items are baked/prepared fresh, so some popular items sell-out quickly, which means you’ll need to return again soon😉Parking is ample at this location, and you are welcome to sit and enjoy your meal and company in a warm environment.

I'm gluten free, but still crave cupcakes. Their gluten free cupcakes are delicious

They are a tie with Amelie's for my favorite bakery in Charlotte. Long wait times during busy hours, but worth it to me. The avocado sandwich on rosemary sourdough is amazingly delicious. Eveything I have eaten there is good.

The best bakery ever!!! I go to the one on 7th St. Love the cinnamon rolls, rosemary sourdough bread, cheddar biscuits, on and on...and they have vegan options (that don't taste vegan LOL). And AWESOME sandwiches and soups! People and food are great, and in a lovely happy environment!❤️

Went to Sunflour Baking Company in Charlotte NC around 9:45 AM on a Sunday. I was going to call in my order on DoorDash, but decided to go. They told me there was a delay on the sandwiches, about 20 minutes, but I was fine with that. I ended up waiting 55 minutes. The woman was extremely apologetic and gave me a five dollar coupon. My sandwich was amazing. It was a egg, avocado, ham, and cheese on a cheddar biscuit. I will definitely order again, but would call ahead. I also had the cinnamon roll and it was pretty good.

I went to Sunflour for brunch today with my son. We ordered a raspberry danish, a banana chocolate chip muffin, an egg sandwich and an avocado melt. Everything was sooooo delicious!! I had planned to save the avocado melt for a late lunch but after devouring the raspberry danish I just HAD to try the sandwich. I ate half the sandwich, stared at the 2nd half for a moment, then gave in and ate it ALL. I went in hungry and left STUFFED! My son ate every bite of his meal as well. While we were there I was impressed by how hard working the staff was. They greeted everyone with a smile (even customers who took too long to order which is totally understandable with so many options to choose from!) and made sure the tables were wiped down and the seating area was clean. The restrooms in the back were also clean and well stocked. Mostly I enjoyed watching so many couples and families sit down and relax in this little gem of a restaurant. I overheard one lady tell her husband they only had 5 minutes before they had to leave but they still enjoyed the break from the normal chaos of life to sit down, sip their coffee and enjoy their pastry. We will definitely be back to do the same.

The #6 sandwich - egg sausage and tomato pesto was really good (I removed the arugula). Lots of flavor and the cheddar biscuit was really yummy, but a lot of bread. One star less because it took a while to prepare.

The #6 breakfast sandwich on a cheddar biscuit was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious! Everyone seemed really nice. My mom also loved her croissant and blueberry muffin, which she said were some of the best she’s ever had. Only four stars because the coffees weren’t that good. But still worth a visit for the food alone!

This is a review based on several visits. I have had the cupcakes in the past and they were very good but the CINNAMON ROLL is the best I’ve ever had. They usually sell out early so I would suggest going prior to 2pm to get one. I go just for the roll. If they are out of them, I leave. I gave 4 stars because the service here can be hit or miss. The staff for the most part is nice but I have gotten my cinnamon roll heated and they seem to have issues with something so simple. One time they burned it a little and it was the last one. The young lady didn’t say anything when she served it to me and when I mentioned it she said “Oh yeah, I saw that. They left it in the oven too long.” She said she would replace it with something else if it was inedible however I guess it was the end of her shift because she left before I had a chance to talk to her again. Most recently, it wasn’t warm enough but I didn’t want to risk getting another burnt one so I just ate it anyway. More ttention to detail would garner a 5 star from me.

Because of them, my daughter had her first real birthday cake at her 8th birthday party. She has a lot of allergies, and they were accommodating with the restrictions. She had cake with any reactions to it. And it was beautiful, bigger than we expected and delicious....

The portions are a very VERY generous. The place wasn't as clean as i would prefer an eating establishment to be but the food truly is extraordinarily good. The croissants are enormous, the orange poppy seed was really good but the vanilla one takes the cake.

Serving bad avocados is not okay. I own a food business myself and I understand the difficulties with avocados, but this is the second time this happens. I’ve probably ordered the same sandwich about 6 times. 2 out of the 6 this has happened, hence the not bad rating, but one time it happened with friends I had hyped up about your business. I can’t share your business with other people because the quality is not consistent. Something in your operations needs a closer look. All that being said, I really hope it gets better since I love your #3 on cheddar biscuit.

The breads and pastries that Sunflour Baking Company on 7th Street offered impressed me when I went there for breakfast. Both the cappuccino and the croissant sandwich with ham and cheese that I ordered were excellent. The cappuccino was smooth and creamy, and the croissant was flaky and delicious. The location was tidy and comfortable, and the staff was kind and helpful. The fact that they were out of several products when I arrived and I really wanted to taste their cinnamon rolls is the only reason I didn't give them a perfect score of five stars. Possibly next time. This bakery is a must-try for anyone seeking a filling and healthy breakfast, in my opinion.

Always a pleasure to eat here. The delicious aroma of fresh baked goodness that permeates from the moment you open the door is always inviting. The array of baked goods, sandwiches, desserts and coffee are outstanding and always tasty. It has a comfortable and laid back vibe you can sit and enjoy your treats. Sunflour puts Starbucks to shame. Certified Charlotte awesome eats.

I’ve always loved this location, it was where I first met my best friend, and is my go-to community bakery/coffee shop. Every time I go I’m greeted with a smile and a delicious case of pastries. This past visit exceeded all others though, and Maya made my day! They were so incredibly accommodating. Definitely try Sunflour out if you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere and a fresh pastry or delicious cup of coffee!

Awesome hand made pastries and biscuits. Get the sausage and cheddar biscuit! A bit pricey but quality is worth it. Ask them to heat up your products before hand because they won't do it after you receive your items!

I come here early in the a.m. sometimes after working 3rd shift. Usually right after they open, as i get off at 7am. Staff is just friendly enough for such an early hour and polite. They seem to get along with each other and have fun, but they still prioritize the customer and greet you and smile when you walk in. Pastries here are always good except SOMETIMES the classic croissant seems well-done for my taste. Vanilla sugar roll is delicious every time. I like to order a soy latte, sometimes plain and sometimes with mocha or caramel added. Espresso flavor is always smooth and the milk and foam are always just right. I'm usually in and out, and if it might take a while they warn me and apologize for the wait. I wish i lived closer!

Had a 1:1 business meeting here. My first visit and I loved it. The croissant was AMAZING. The sandwich as a whole could have been improved upon with more bacon and a little more cheese but I ate the whole thing anyway. The coffee is the kind that I seem to have a strange response to (gives me major brain fog) but it did have a good taste so if you don't have that problem, go for it. My friend bought me a snickerdoodle cookie which I ate later and it was delicious. I tend to prefer softer cookies but I'd definitely eat one again! Their scones looked amazing and I saw several people get them while I was there so that might be what I get next time. For a meeting place it was great and the wifi was spot on.
