Pretty decent Thai place. Ordered off brunch menu. I got red curry and the wife got pad Thai. I found my red curry to be pretty good. Wife thought the pad Thai was a bit sweet. Brunch menu wasn't bad but I probably wouldn't have wanted to pay full price for the amount we got. Overall good but not amazing.

I've been here thrice and loved it every time... I'm a fan of glass noodles and these guys just beat it!!!
Not a bad Thai option. I have enjoyed their curry dishes and pad Thai but haven't really been impressed when I strayed off those options. Avoid the tempura. The batter is really heavy and not really tempura. If you know someone with a Charlotte Citipass book, they usually have a dine in only coupon which makes it worth trying. We go back because of location convenience and enjoy their Penang curry. Given a lack of great Thai restaurants around Charlotte, this one will help you get your Thai fix until a great Thai restaurant moves in.
Satay was a bit chewy and the peanut sauce isn't really my thing. The Thai BBQ duck and the sweet and sour shrimp dinners were both delicious!!! The vegetables that each plate came with were fresh and crisp. Hostess and waitress were very nice to our family especially our three year old. Prices should be about $5 cheaper per plate. I will eat here again.
We went to this place due to the Urban Spoon rating. We were very pleased. Cost is reasonable. Food was pretty awesome (according to one of my sons). We all enjoyed the decor. If you are looking for something really good, go here.
Love the decor!! Very quaint and serene!! Food is also delish!!!
My Regular Thai Place. I eat here a few times a month and the food is always good as the service is always exceptional. They do most things very well and deliver what you would expect form a Thai place. The only knock on it is the food is sometimes inconsistent and they forget to make the food Thai hot as I request. My favorite Thai place in Charlotte and I have tried them all
Excellent food, attentive service, and reasonable cost.. I usually go for the Pad Thai staple dishes but was swayed by the creamer Red Currey. Highly recommended! Excellent food, attentive service, nicely decorated and reasonable cost. Definitely worth a visit.
Great Food .. Great Service ... While in Charlotte we visited several places in Tower Place for dining each night .. Bombay Cuisine, The Melting Pot, and Thai House .. The Thai House was a great dining experience .. The food was excellent and the staff and owners were very nice .. If you're looking for an affordable international dining experience while in that area this is it ..

Fabulous dinner tonight. Thanks to Groupon for introducing us to the Thai House. Food and service top notch. Will definitely be returning.
Best Thai Restaurant in Charlotte area. We drove 1.5 hours to get to the restaurant from our house and as usual they did not disappoint! Both food and service was excellent. I highly recommend the Tom Yum Soup it is out of this world.
If you like Thai food and haven't eaten here do so.. Thai food in my experience can either be very good, or very bad. Some places I have been, in what I assume is an attempt to please western palates, remove the parts of the dishes that make them original and interesting. Thai House does not at all fall into this trap. If you do not like Thai food than this will not be a good restaurant for you, but if you do, or think you might you should go today.
I have never been to Thailand or eaten food prepared by a Thai citizen so I suppose I don't know really what authentic Thai food is, but everything here certainly feels authentic. From the decor (which is made up of wonderful carvings of wildlife), to the dress of the lady who brought out my food (the fact that she was a gorgeous example of eastern beauty didn't hurt either...if I had wanted to be crass I would have left my number) certainly felt authentic.
Most importantly the food was wonderful. I had a duck in curry dish that was exquisite on my most recent trip and have had noodle dishes that were wonderful in the past. The duck in Pineapple Coconut Cream Currey that was on special on my most recent visit was especially wonderful. It had just the right amount of spice to offset the sweetness of the pineapple, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy, and the duck was crispy and extremely tasty.
Service has always been excellent hitting the sweet spot between being to felicitous and ignoring the dinners. Several times I would look away to turn back around to find my water refilled. No fuss and no interruption of the dining experience.
The only bad thing I can say about this restaurant is that you will pay for the quality you are getting, but then is that really bad? When the food and the service is this good paying 30 bucks for what will become two meals is something I have no problem doing.

Great place for delicious Thai food - the best we've had in Charlotte. It's one of our regular and favorite places to eat!
By Catherine of VegCharlotte • March 7, 2015 Sometimes, it’s hard to believe how much Charlotte, NC has changed since the days I first went veg. At the time Charlotte was not very diverse, and there were few ethnic restaurants. It was difficult to find a vegetarian meal dining out, let alone a vegan one! A notable exception was Thai Hous e, a family run business which has now been around for more than 20 years ...it continues to remain … excellent.
Finally made it around to trying thai food for the first time ever!!!!! I got satay first and it was...
Delightful place, food was yummy and served quickly. They have a good selection of soups and Thai dishes. We enjoyed our lunch and would love to dine again.
Thai House-Tower Place in Charlotte was amazing. We visited here for lunch on a Wednesday and we were seated promptly.
We got the fried rice, vegetarian spring rolls and pad Thai noodles with chicken. There are 4 spring rolls served in one plate—the vegetables mixture in them is balanced. The fried rice was perfect, as was the pad Thai noodles with a generous amount of both the noodles and the chicken. The pad Thai quantity was more than enough for 1 person. They also serve 2 spring rolls and a vegetarian soup (with tofu and rice) as complimentary dishes, which we thought was a nice touch.
The insides of the restaurant evoke a solemn atmosphere, and the staff is polite and tries their best to accommodate all the requests. Their menu is quite extensive replete with Thai cuisine meals. They also have an extensive drinks(both alcoholic and nonalcoholic) menu. They’ve ample parking available outside.
I’ll be back here to try more of their dishes. Look no further than Thai House if you’re looking for a great Thai restaurant in Charlotte.
Really nice restaurant! This is my go to for Thai food in Charlotte. The service is always very nice, the wait staff is attentive and very friendly. As soon as you ask for anything it's there! The spring rolls and soup came 20 seconds after we placed our order. They're that fast. We had a mix up with the wrong noodles coming out but the server instantly fixed this for us and the food came out asap! Like only 5 mins. The food was delicious, plenty of noodles and lots of meat in the beef pad Thai. It also had a great amount of spice to it. I ordered a 5 out of 6 for heat and my wife ordered a 6. Both were at a level where we were at the end of our comfort level, right where we wanted to be for heat. The bathroom was also very clean, and you could tell, well maintained. I would look to Thai House for they're great atmosphere, great lunch special quick service and delicious food.
Excellent food with friends , they , Kate were kind enough to blend my soup due to mouth surgery ! Can’t wait to go back and eat !! Updated Friday 9/29/23 .. excellent.. more food !
Absolutely loved it. I should have took some photos. They had the best Tom Kai soup. I've had a long time along with the mango sticky rice and of course some absolutely great Thai tea. If I was in the area I would definitely be here all the time. Very authentic and just over the top. Great food!
I'm not sure why I waited so long to visit Thai House. The stars just never aligned properly and that's a shame. It was a mistake. I should have come here years ago.
Warm service when I arrived and was immediately seated. I was provided a menu and a moment later, my waiter arrived to take my drink order. When he returned, I was ready.
Red curry with chicken. Medium spicy. White rice.
Soup and spring roll were dropped off by one runner and five minutes later, my lunch arrived. A good portion, plated and presented nicely. I took a taste and there was just enough heat to make it interesting but not too much. I probably could have gone up another notch and still enjoyed it.
A perfect sized portion for lunch, I cleared it all. It was delicious. A great balance of chicken and al dente vegetables and curry sauce. The rice was perfect for soaking it up and ensuring no waste.
I love that they present the check with the credit card machine at the table. Perfect.
Thai House goes into my rotation for lunch.
Pad see ewe with free soup and spring roll for lunch! My mom and I love coming here.
I was pleasantly surprised. Great food, excellent service, well priced. Thai house favorite seafood dish is my favorite -- good seafood quality and quantity, curry sauce is rich yet delicate, even rice is cooked to perfection!
Highly recommend.
Thai Palace at Tower Place is a solid Thai restaurant with emphasis on service and food. I've been on many occasions and the reason is because the staff does a phenomenal job of helping with recommendations, taking special orders and being expedient. When you arrive, you can't help but to feel that you've traveled to a different time, the decor is amazing and the atmosphere is relaxed.
The menu is extensive and the descriptions are detailed so you know what to expect. I normally go for the Kang Pa Curry which is one of my favorites or the Thai Roasted chicken. I've always had a great meal just as if it's the first time. There isn't much of a wait time yet they are typically very busy for lunch so set aside at least 45 minutes to eat.
This is definitely one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Charlotte and the prices are in line for the quality of food and service you get. Enjoy!
10/20/23: Today, we had spring rolls, Pad Thai, duck, and red curry to-go. The food was great.
2022: I had a wonderful early dinner of squid tempura and sea food curry (shrimp, scallops, mussels and squid). Everything was great. The food was great; servers came by regularly, and my waiting brought me a cup of tea with my check.
