My husband and I discovered Park Place Restaurant last week. We were impressed with the food, the caring of the owner, Alexander and our waitress, Barbara. We went back two other times since then. We appreciate eating in a restaurant where people care about you and want you to enjoy your meal.

We've been regulars for years, they remember my kids names, they know where we like to sit, depending on the server they sometimes bring our drinks seconds after we sit down- they remember what we like! The food is great, the price is great! They have the best ranch dressing, too!
Our first time eating here, but with our local guide, we had a lovey breakfast after church on Sunday, a short wait, great service and great prices!! Will definitely be back!

I drove down from S.W. Virginia on business last month and went to Park Place for Breakfast and Dinner. It was a wonderful experience and the food was just the way I like it. The wait staff was very kind and helpful. I returned to the area again in October and went to Park Place for Breakfast and Dinner three days in a row. The vegetables and fish were very good and people around me were really enjoying themselves. It is a very clean environment and I have enjoyed every meal. I will continue to come here for Breakfast and Dinner. Good People and Good Food :-)
Great, no frills diner. Breakfast available 24/7 and always a good choice. Prices are excellent and the amount of food you get is generous. Come here frequently for breakfast and dinner. Best value in town and you always see repeat customers. If you want a good meat and two kind of place to eat, this is a winner.
Fab, Quick Breakfast. This place always comes through for any meal, but my favorite is breakfast. Good food, super quick and the staff remembers me every time.
Park place restaurant is very great and delicious restaurant . My friend had been telling me about how good the food is at that restaurant and so i decided to try it out for myself . When i went there i ordered eggs, hash brown, and sausage . The eggs were great , and the hash brown was good and crispy , and the sausage was very delicious . I plan on going there again
We love Park Place! Down home cooking, great prices, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere! We are frequent fliers and visit for dinner around twice a week and breakfast atleast once on the weekend. Country fried steak is wonderful, pancakes and omelettes are fresh and fast. Can't beat the deals!
Great dinner. Awesome specials always busy. Great old school dinner. A local favorite. It was first time here we live close by and it was well worth it. Dinner specials under ten dollars. Excellent wait staff as well.
Was looking for a breakfast place other than Waffle House or IHOP and found this place. Great food (eggs with no crunchy edges... I hate that!), bacon, hash browns, French toast cooked to perfection.

A Great Breakfast Destination. When it comes to finding a good restaurant for breakfast I have held steady to an axiom - follow the old people...they will never steer you wrong. Old people love three things - getting up at the crack of dawn, a good pot of coffee, and good cheap food. These two elements combined make it easy to see why old people would have a leg up on knowing the good breakfast venues. When I went into the Park Place Restaurant at 8:00 a.m. one morning, I was pleasantly surprised at the number of old people. I knew instantly I had hit the breakfast jackpot, and boy did I. The Park Place Restaurant has a varied menu of several breakfast items ranging from very cheap to moderately priced. I got something off their breakfast value section - two eggs, choice of meat, home fries, and toast. Add my coffee and tip to that and I probably ended up spending around 8 bucks for my breakfast. The food was good, the coffee was strong, and I was satisfied...well worth it! Stop in some time and have some good food!
Always a great place to eat. Waitstaff very attentive. Kudos to Haley, this morning...she was busy (warp speed, everywhere) but happy.
Came in for a late lunch around 2:30pm and they seemed to stay busy. The service was really good, and the food was on point also. Definitely going to return to try more of the menu. Place was clean too. They have some good looking desserts...

Breakfast was really good. So good that we went back again the next day!! I didn't care for the bacon (chewy) as much but the sausage patties was my meat choice next day and I wasn't disappointed!!
My hubby and I went here for lunch on the spur of the moment because we were in the area and wanted to try something different. Once we got seated and had our menus, we knew they were so familiar. There's a restaurant in Charlotte on Albemarle called Sunrise...owned by the same people. It was wild. We eat there a lot! I must say, the food at Park Place was a bit tastier. Definitely recommend for a home-style type meal.
Parking lot was packed but we were seated right away. Soup and salad were very good. I got the chopped sirloin, which was over-cooked. I should have asked for the gravy on the side as I didn’t like the taste. My boyfriend had breakfast- he said his was good.
Service was friendly.

Was in from Ohio for a few days, hotel concierge recommended Park Place, very grateful for that recommendation. Service was quick and experienced, well-prepared food came out quickly and tasted great. Excellent bang for your buck at Park Place, looking forward to returning.
The food was very good and Hot. Not too salty. They have Specials. I had the Tuesday Special which was the chicken, gravy, and dressing w/ 2 sides. I choose to have the macaroni, and turnip greens... There was also a complimentary soup or salad. I choose the soup, which was very very Delicious!@
The food here is very hot and fresh. When we got our food The Omelette was great and so was the fish my fiance ordered. She had eggs and pancakes which were also good. I'm not a pancake eater, but it was very good Miss Barbara better known as Miss purple she is a very good waitress very polite and very patient. We will be back AGAIN
We came in a large group and staff was very accommodating. Angel was our server and did a great job, super friendly and really elevated the experience. He was so patient & checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed.
I think because we were a large group, the quality of food was slightly impacted. None of the “skillets” ordered came out in skillets, and were on plates - seemed like false advertising on the menu picture. And the potatoes were lukewarm on one of the dishes.
All in all decent experience for accommodating a large group.
Down home dining. Extensive menu. Daily specials. Lots of seniors & families eat here. 2nd time we've dined here & will do again if in the neighborhood. Good value, good service, good food. Our server, Terry was great; a true professional.
Love this place. Delicious food, but questionable service. Came the last two days and had a waitress who forgot an order and today, the waitress forgot our tea bags and just delivered hot water.
Updating 10/22/2021: Service was great for lunch and everyone was very accommodating. I had the spanakopita and it was very tasty. Masks are required and sanitation was good.
Very nice atmosphere, food was great! Waitress and hostess were very friendly! With the exception of the dirty cup served to our table. Everything else was on point. The French toast and the home fries were the bomb!

The salad was wet lettuce and the saddest tomatoes I've ever seen. I would get that again.

Chicken tips are always good. If you're like me though, you'll need that fried squash well done with extra ranch dressing (made fresh in house)
“Young Turks” was playing when I got inside so I assumed nothing could go wrong. I think is a family owned business which I always prefer. Restaurant is clean, but old. Booths need maintenance for sure (that’s why is not 5 stars). Definitely homemade style food. Coffee is good and hot, my eggs cooked just like I ordered.
