First time today. By far the best sandwich I have had in Charlotte. Definitely will become a regular.
Sometimes, it is the little things that make you smile, especially after a couple of hard/bad days.
A few minutes ago, my Fiance & I had to stop by Rite Aid for medicine & decided to stop by a little food market, and what a Neighborhood Gem it turned out to be!
Tons of local wine, IPA beers, healthy snacks, & fresh foods and cheeses. They had the best variety of fresh coffee too. J got dark roast & I, hazelnut creme. Then we found our favorite desserts made fresh & decided to indulge: Tiramisu & Tres Leches.
Anyone in the Uptown/Myers Park area of Charlotte must go by! The ower is incredibly kind, too and provides fantastic service.
Wonderful employees, little surprises tucked throughout the shop, great coffee & even better breakfast & lunch from the deli. And they carry Boylan's ginger ale! All around winner.
Oh my.... What a great place. Stopped in today for breakfast and got the Americano. So good.. Lots of unique items.
The breakfast torta is amazing, good prices and friendly service too.
Tip the staff! They are all wonderful! The breakfast wraps and coffee are delicious and super affordable! :)

After hearing plenty of good things about this place, I finally decided to stop by recently and get some breakfast sandwiches.
The layout of the market makes it a little crowded. There's no seating, so all food is taken to go. You order at the deli counter and then pay separately at the cashier.
I got ordered an Americano on an everything bagel, a Mercado, and a Torta. The Torta was a little dry. The Mercado was probably my favorite and the Americano was also good. I wouldn't get a bagel again—it was quite chewy.
The service here was not good. I got a Mercado on a plain bagel instead of the Americano on an everything bagel. They also didn't give me the Torta and I had to re-order. When they take your order, they don't write it down or ask for a name/give you a number. There's a ton of confusion about whose order it is when it's ready. There's also no good way to check your order is right because the sandwiches are wrapped up.
The food was pretty good, but given the chaos of ordering, I would have to try to come on a less busy day.
They have gluten-free bread as an option and their sandwiches are so good! It is walk up counter service, no seating. The line can get really long and it gets crowded since it's such a small place
I found Belovd super bars here!!! These things are awesome for a quick energy boost before a workout. Raspberry is my fave (sold out😫) but my safety second (coconut) was still available.
Alicia in the deli went out of her way to help me, even to the point of making her stay late in her work day. So grateful for kind people like Alicia!! Alicia, people like you make this world a much better place!! Thank you!
Best Sandwiches in Charlortte. It’s my go to on weekends.
This is a regular stop....sandwiches are always great and I love the great local beer selection. On top of all that, they have some really great wine! Awesome to grab a quick meal and also be able to pick up a nicer bottle of wine that isn't overpriced. Only complaint is that it gets really busy (good for them) sometimes, wish I was the only one that knew about this place and all those people would go away!

Best deli in Charlotte! Great sandwiches both breakfast and lunch, and great selection of various snacks! They also have a wide variety of wine and beer. I recommend this place to all of my friends!
Egg salad sandwich on toasted croissant is my go to. I love Pepe’s breakfast sandwich, I always add avocado, any time of day.
We ate there at 200 on Saturday 8/13, still a little crowded. Food and service was very good. I would give 5 stars but I was sitting outside while my wife was waiting on the food, the guy behind the counter seemed very annoyed that he had to come outside to empty the overflow of trash in the trash can. He just shoved it down, and trash flew out and he left some trash on the ground that I had just picked up. He also just left the unused garbage bag on the ground by the trash can. There were also lots of flies around the trash. I will try this place again as it has good food and wine/beer selections. Maybe he was just having a bad day?
This is the best place ever. The coffee- no frills but so delicious, you fill your own cup with such delicious roast. The breakfast sandwiches-incredible, never have had a bad bite to eat. The atmosphere - a bunch of the greatest people you will ever meet
Perfect local market vibe. Great deli menu. The service was great. I had the best chef's creation in a sandwich EVAH! Go eat lunch here!!! (Maybe bring dinner home if you want good deli food after a long day!) The food was fresh, tasty, with some delicious original ideas between bread or a wrap. The muffuletta was on point.
Best sandwich I've had in Charlotte by miles. I had the #14 on a baguette and the broccoli salad and both were delicious and fresh. Good quality bread and ingredients, great combination of flavors. Looking forward to working my way through the menu!
I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. It will definitely become my go to for freshly prepared breakfast sandwiches and more. I recommend the Americano ( Egg, sausage, bacon and cheese). The bread, coffee and fruit were all fresh with an impressive variety of the same. The Laurel Market original muffins and coffee cakes are a delicious addition to your morning breakfast. A quaint place with great staff.

Laurel Market, you are a local hidden gem in Charlotte. The quality and freshness of food here it’s consistan without a doubt. It’s own by a family from Central America, pretty much a family run market. It reminds me of the deli in NYC but made with love.
How to maneuver if you are a first timer: when you walk in to the market to your right hand the line forms to place your order.m, be ready, the breakfast menu is to your left. The fresh local pastries and muffins will be along side the window.
After you place your food order, you will see a variety of fresh brew coffee, milk, creams, sugars, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg. Pick your coffee size small or large, my go-to coffee it’s the Guatemalan cinnamon decaf, very smooth and delicious. Space might be a little snug if there a lot of people (usually Saturday and Sunday morning), it’s ok, it moves fast and it’s worth the wait. By the time you are done getting your coffee and perhaps a refill if you drink it as fast as I do. The ladies will call you, the price will be written in the butcher.
Walk around the counter and the gentleman will be ring you up, pack your food and add napkins.
Now to the food, I usually BYO wrap but honestly everything here it’s delicious and fresh. The portions are generous. When I add avocado ($1 extra) I can taste and feel the slices of avocado. It’s worth paying the extra dollar for the avocado.
This place is a hidden gem. The food is great and the sandwiches are phenomenal! The #6 on sourdough is delicious. As far as the staff and customer service goes, I've never had a bad experience. They've always been nice to me and greeted me with a smile.
Hidden local deli with amazing unique sandwiches. It is small, busy, and there is no seating. Your order will be take out. The store part of it has a variety of drinks (wine, local craft beer, health drinks, etc). There is also homemade desserts, side dishes, and healthy choices. Really unique local place.
