This ranks as one of the best Italian restaurants in town. It's very unassuming, cozy and inviting, it is run by Italians and has great food and atmosphere. From the bread on, the food was very good. I had the Penne Vodka with ham. It had nice flavor of spagetti sauce, vodka and cream. My boyfriend had the eggplant and it was very tender. The dessert was Tiramisu and it was a delicious italian cake with a custard cream and chocolate, so delightful! The service was wonderful! I will definetely be back!

We stopped by to celebrate a birthday. The ambience, the service, and the food were absolutely outstanding!! We were surprised it wasn’t more crowded- probably because we went close to closing time. We ordered the crab cakes, bruschetta, pesto gnocchi and lobster ravioli and ended with the crème brûlée cheesecake (dessert suggestion was by one of the friendly staff). Each and every item we ordered had been plated and prepared with care and was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very attentive too. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem!

I really love this place and i think it is so underrated i have been here many times with my sister since we work across the street it’s so good all of the pasta i have tried has been amazing the bread is fresh and they serve it with white beans in olive oil with balsamic. All of the pasta is made fresh everyone here is super attentive and very kind. They have a great selection of wine and the appetizers never miss either! My sister and i love the shrimp cocktail and also love to share the rigatoni bolognese the calamari is also Amazing i haven’t tried anything that is not really tasty here. Don’t think twice if they’re open go try it out you won’t regret it!!

This was our first time at Arooji's Wine room and for a Saturday night it was surprisingly empty but honestly, we didn't mind since it added to the intimate feel which we do enjoy. We ordered a few different appetizers and entrees and compared to other Italian restaurants in the Charlotte area we feel the food underwhelmed, we are not saying that it was not good just giving our honest opinion as compared to other restaurants. The service by the staff was top notch and there was never an empty glass of water, wine or dirty dish on the table. Their attentiveness to every detail should be applauded and this added to our lovely evening at Arooji's.

I came in from out of town and was feeling a cozy place to eat. Found this place via Google. I didn't feel at all rushed, which I was grateful for as a slow drinker. The lobster ravioli was good, but my favorite part was the tiramisu. All was washed down with a couple glasses of their Montepulciano. Nice, relaxing vibes. Shout out to the server and the server assistant. Both were very sweet and attentive.

Wonderful interiors. The decor needs to be appreciated and you can visit this place just to feel the ambience. Customer service was excellent. They took around 15-20 to serve the food. The taste was good. Alfredo pasta was so creamy and delectable. The gyro tasted good too. Meat was well cooked.

The most beautiful ambiance anywhere we’ve been in Charlotte! Arooji’s wine room makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another country for a quiet evening away. Very generous wine portions as well!

Stopped in for a late lunch meeting and was not disappointed. Quiet and cozy place with great service and good food. I didn't have wine, but the selection was extensive. Customized one of the dishes (I had Gnocchi w/ grilled chicken in a Vodka sauce) and it was very good (sorry; forgot to take a photo). The coffee was fresh and good. Would certainly recommend for an intimate dinner or the like.

You know when there are those moments when you really want something good that feeds the soul!! That's what Chef Aria's food did! A friend and I went there for girls night off of a suggestion from one of their chefs named Blake. We were waited on by Conner who was very attentive and kind! I highly recommend the tortellini and the gamberi

We took an online recommendation for this restaurant and I’m so glad we did. The food was delicious and the service is impeccable. What they’ve done to create an atmosphere in there is really cool. Highly recommend.

Professional servers. Angel will take care of you! We love this place because it reminds us of an Italian restaurant my husband proposed in. Love this place for date night. Very cozy decor and lots of yummy wines! I had the eggplant parmesan.
