Great Bike nights on Thursdays. Fun crowd, the drinks are plentiful, the food is delicious. Don't miss out on a jumbo Hamburger which is my favorite and the staff is very welcoming.

The food is oddly better than I expected. The main issue I have here is that we waited 25 minutes to be seated despite them accepting 5 to go orders. I understand to go orders are important but a customer that has waited 26 minutes should probably get some help. Despite that we tried walking out but my 2 year old daughter refused to leave so we waited a few more minutes. That's the only reason why. Service after getting seated was decent not great but decent the food was the saving grace. It's hard to ignore their poor service though that's why I gave 4 stars.

We came here last night with a large group of about 30. I’m sure they were a bit overwhelmed but took good care of us. A few things we tried were crack sauce shrimp, seafood boil , fries, garlic romano wings everything was delicious! Everyone had different items but all agreed it was delicious prices were also great! We will return!

Cutting through from Independence blvd on Sardis rd towards Monroe rd. I noticed an outdoor seating area with the patrons having a bite to eat and/or a cocktail as well. Just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather. One quick u-turn later, I was pulling into the parking lot and checking out the nautical themed exterior. Leilani, the floor manager seated me at a very comfortable table, with excellent cushion and padding in the seats. There were TVs everywhere, with the volume kept at a very comfortable level. You could have a very nice conversation without the TVs volume disturbing you. The nautical theme extended to every part of the interior as well. My wait persons name was New. She was a very charismatic, pleasant and personable individual, who is very good at her profession. I started with the raw oysters and I thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them. A nice portion of horseradish, cocktail sauce, sliced lemons and crackers accompanied the oysters. And they remained chilled, served on a tray in a bed of ice. For my dinner, I had the grilled shrimp wraps. This meal came with a choice of side. I had the garden salad with Italian dressing. In and of itself, and excellent choice. Everything in the salad was fresh and crisp. The wrap was nicely toasted on the outside and held together the interior of the wrap very well. One thing that I have to make sure and mention is; that instead of having to hunt for tiny pieces of shrimp. This wrap had plenty of grilled shrimp tucked away inside. So many that, I ended up with 5 shrimp on my dinner plate after I had finished eating the wraps. Not only was the food exceptional, but the price points were quite a bit more reasonable than I expected from a seafood establishment. A very pleasant and welcome surprise. If this establishment was located on the coast, it would be promoted as a upscale dining experience. I for one am very appreciative that it's here in Charlotte NC. Take the time and make the drive. It's well worth your while. The ambiance was low key and relaxing. Very good vibes as soon as I entered the restaurant. Not counting the outdoor dining area, the interior of the restaurant has enough seating for any size party. The restaurant is nicely laid out and expansive, but you can still have that feeling of intimacy when dining. They have a number of events coming up shortly. The restaurant and restrooms were exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Everything is handicap accessible. Shortly before leaving, I spoke with the manager for a short while. A very pleasant and professional individual. He struck me as someone who cares a great deal about the customers, clientele, staff members and your overall dining experience. We had an end of year social here. The food was great, and the staff was involved, enthusiastic, and cared about making sure everyone was satisfied. It was a wonderful time.

Hef's is cool! The Gentleman's Jack is my drink. I've visited 4 times, but unfortunately it was only made good once! Don't be stingy with that Grand Marnier! Otherwise, atmosphere and service is really good. I love that they have touch tunes and you can control the music. Always a nice friendly crowd. This is my new neighborhood joint.

I'd visited Hefs when they were further up Sardis Rd. I'd just gone for drinks & watching football games. My first time ordering food was late on Friday, 2-18-22 & again on 3-5-22. In February, I ordered the fried shrimp & hush puppies. It was later than I usually eat dinner, but after a long busy day, it hit the spot. The restaurant was packed that night. Waited almost 30 minutes from the time I ordered til the time I got my food. In March, I stopped by for take out again after a long day of running errands & not feeling like cooking. I ordered the steamed shrimp with veggies & rice. I don't eat a lot of rice because of carbs, but the rice was very good; so were the onions. The sauce had a weird smell & I didn't use it. I'm particular when it comes to smells. This order came out much faster than the first one. I believe I had it within 10 minutes of placing my order.

This is a really cool place and the second you walk in you get the feeling that it is a local place but very nice inside. The last couple experiences that I’ve had when I’ve been here has always been good, but the crowd at the bar is a little rowdy. The food is exceptional, and always comes out, uncannily quickly, and always good and fresh ! I would realistically say that after eight maybe 9 o’clock it is not the best place to take the kids to. It’s not the establishments fault, but there was a lot of swearing and people generally being very loud. I think it is probably safe to say that when you have a bar and a restaurant, this is probably more common than not. There’s plenty of parking and it kept clean outside and inside. Overall, I would recommend the place, but I would not say it is the most family-friendly after a certain time . Not bad, but I just wouldn’t take my kids there !

Nice local bar. Music wasn't to loud so my 2 girlfriends and I could have a conversation. It was a little slow for a Friday night, but that was pretty much around Charlotte. We were there just for a couple of drinks. My first time there. I would come back to explore more.

I absolutely love this spot. Very affordable. I took a friend to try their food and she wants to come back. I love the boneless crack wings and the chicken alfredo with the cajun sauce is delicious, you won't be disappointed. Friendly service

Sometimes you want great service. Sometimes you want a crab cake sandwich with real crab or authentic Asian fare at 1:00 in the morning. Sometimes you want to see the Panther's game or hear New Wave music at 7:00 on a Wednesday. You can engage with all these desires at Heff's almost any night of the night. Ghe bartenders care, the cooks are fully bilingual in traditional Chinese cooking and Weastern Bar food. I highly recommend this tavern, if not for the wonderful service, then the rowdy and unforgettable atmosphere and food!
