I was visiting some friends for the holidays and we decided we would get some sushi for pickup.. It was a Thursday. It was packed. We ordered hibachi, multiple rolls, edamame, goyza and chicken katsu. We ordered online and tried to delay our pickup time after submitting order. We had to call multiple times due to phone ringing busy and when we finally got someone to answer we were informed the hibachi had been started so they could not delay. Not their fault but didn't seem to care. The crab ragoons were decent. When we picked up three of the rolls were packed together with no identification. We had no idea which roll was which. That being said the food was excellent. The spider roll was awesome. The other rolls were good. The katsu (and especially the sauce) were excellent. The goyzas ( l was told) were excellent as well. The shrimp tempura was ice cold and still great. All being said the food was good. If we had ordered correctly or coordinated the pickup better I think it would've been better.
My first visit on a Wednesday around 6;00
PM, no waiting to be seated .Good food and good value, I didn't realized that I ordered too much Hibachi items and ended up having two full size portions left unfinished. So I paid a small subcharge and took home the leftover instead of wasting it. This is a place I will definitely return and recommend.
Delicious every time!!! We love to dine in with the all you can eat and get abt 2-3 rolls per person. I love their tempura fried veggies as well. A great experience always!
Good sushi. Service was prompt once we were seated. It was the weekend and there were 11 in our group so the wait was an hour. This is a place maybe for smaller groups or a family. It's a popular place and there's a lot of people in the restaurant.
Great service and the food is tasty, you may want to arrive a bit early since you may need to wait longer than usual for a table. Overall this place is recommended. Watch out and don’t order too much or you will have to pay additionally for whatever was ordered and didn’t finish.
I love Mr Tokyo, I love the options that they have, the servers are always super nice, and the food is always delicious. I love the quality of food for the price, the atmosphere is great for hanging out with friends, and overall just an amazing experience. I went for the unlimited Sushi and Hibachi as someone who doesn't like raw fish but I still like everything else that makes up a roll there are a lot of options
Food is amazing and it’s basically all you can eat. You can order whatever you want, whenever you want. The concept of this restaurant is really good. And the food is good and fresh; something that is really hard to find in “all you can eat” restaurants. 100% recomended.
They know how to run a business and make quality food! Love it here!!
Went in again. The young man service us was trained by the book and a genuine person. Can't believe how amazing the service was, felt like we were at a fine dining restaurant where they were working towards a Michelin star. The food quality was flawless as usual. Refreshing to see a restaurant not worsen over time especially after so many places did after the pandemic. Love them!
As usual, slow before dinner, all packed with a waiting line outside during dinner time.
The food was great, the service was good, the building was small but everything moved quickly and felt comfortable. The all you can eat sushi included a lot of deep fried options that I felt kind of took away from the sushi. They were still delicious, just a personal preference I think there should have been fewer of those options and more of the fresh and non deep fried rolls. Great price for the amount of food we put away. Felt like the delay between our first and second plate was intentional, I get it though. Ultimately, I would recommend it.
We had all you can each lunch on a weekday here and really enjoyed our meal. The sushi were fresh with great ratio of rice to fish (not too much rice). The service was also great. Will definitely come back again! 😋
This is not a fancy sushi place. But I have certainly had worse sushi 🍣 at fancy sushi places. Everything I had was excellent. Everything tasted fresh. The service was a little bit slow, but they were very busy. Not only would I recommend this place, I definitely plan to go back.
Service was fast and friendly. Great menu variety. Sushi is delicious and my husband loved their teriyaki chicken and shrimp. He said it's the best he's had. Dining area was a little crowded.
This is my favorite place that I've visited so far in my trip to SC, it took a while to get table as it's a tiny restaurant but it's worth it. The service was outstanding, our waiter was bilingual (Spanish) and helpful in all ways.
The menu was easy to understand, you've to pay around 14.99 per person and you get all you can eat but do not leave leftovers or you'll get charge, the over payment will be use for charity porpuses so it's up to you.
Food quality was outstanding and portions were big enough, the options were a lot of options to choose from. The individual portions of sushi are big so take care of it.
I thoroughly enjoyed my food here, everything was perfect. My whole table ordered the All You Can Eat Sushi, so we tried different rolls and got to share each others food as well. We tried a multitude of different appetizers, special rolls, regular rolls, and hand rolls, all of which impressed. My server also took my avocado allergy seriously, which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be returning in the future, it was very worth the drive all the way from Mooresville.
We had a wonderful experience after our second attempt... we left the first time because the wait was over two hours. This visit was a one hour wait. You cannot get on the list by phone.
$22.99 for the food and $3 for beverages. The sushi was amazing and well worth the price. People are charged for leftovers so be careful when ordering sushi rolls.
