Typically I don't write reviews for chain restaurants because you always know what you're going to get. Bojangles is Bojangles. You know your chicken is going to taste good and you'll be leaving the restaurant full, satisfied, and considering if you should start a diet.
But I wanted to leave a 5 star review for this Bojangles location in particular. I've came into this restaurant a few more nights than I'd like to admit and every time I do, I'm consistently impressed with the staff, the manager in particular. He seems to genuinely care about his job, his staff, and the customer's experience. He and his staff are always working their tails off back there and even under the stress they never fail to greet you with a smile and genuine attentiveness.

As a Consumer, just like any one of Us out here, WE have the opportunity like never before to share out thought with regards to the Service and Quality of Food we all receive. In the past, I would frequently go to the closest Bojangles to me. Over that last several visits, it has become apparent that little is done from a Management level, Owner or Company level. I try to share my experiences based upon the People in the Service industry as well as the established. There are Great and Hardworking people out there that value the opportunity that they have been given to have a job and we need to acknowledge them as well as the opportunities the business itself may have. Today, I visited this Bojangles location and when I return home with my breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised. My experience started off with a pleasant greeting from the person taking my order. He made sure that my order was taken correctly and as I wanted it. When I pulled up to the window, the person was polite, took my money and returned my change. As I pulled up to the pickup window, the next person was friendly and greeted me with a smile. The 2 workers behind the window were on point getting my order ready. When I arrived home, I took out my Breakfast and enjoyed a nice meal. Thank You to the Staff working at this location this morning. Know that You make a difference. This is my favorite bojangles location. I can tell they have good management. They rarely seem to be out of stuff. Even when the drive through is busy the line keeps moving. My order is always completed as I asked. Today I ordered a salad and was impressed that it was made with a spring mix and not just basic lettuce like the other bojangles locations.
The chicken was good . Had to wait over 30 minutes for a 20 piece meal . They had a large number of orders so that was understandable. When I finally got home one of my 4 sides and the extra one was missing . I normally check my order and next time I will . Young man at register was nice and very polite . I would suggest he not wear a hoodie while working the register though . But again he was very very nice and polite .
The manager on duty was really nice and helpful. I don't remember her name. She is a dark skin lady .
UPDATE: New management at this location for maybe the last 3 months and this place has REALLY turned it around. Fast, friendly and reliable. A total 180 - so I'm changing my review from 2 stars to FIVE... yes, its been THAT BIG a turn around.
OLD REVIEW: This is the most unreliable Bojangles I have ever seen. This is the closest location to my house - and every time I try them (usually for breakfast) - they are not open when they show that they should be, have temporarily closed, aren't taking orders... some non-sense, and I get frustrated and swear that location off. Three months later, I give them another chance - same results... not serving when they should be. I have no one to blame but myself, I am such an idiot.
