We did Scarowinds. Had great time. Lines are shorter and much cooler at night. Five different haunted houses and tons of Halloween themed decorations, games and rides. Beware of the men holding chainsaws!

Our favorite place to go all the years. It's so crowded when scarowinds starts. Especially Saturday. I recommend coming before 6. To find good parking spots.
If you have never been on it, I highly recommend the fury 365, by far THE best coaster I've ever been on. We went during winter fest and had a blast, scarowinds was great too. If you live in the surrounding area a gold season pass is a must have, free parking and the pass pays for itself if you go
Lovely day. Not super packed. The rollercoasters are mind blowing. The staff is not excited but they’re a bunch of college kids in the sun, I don’t blame them. Great experience overall.
A little on the pricey side but if you want to try to save money you can always go to the website and pay for day tickets a day in advance (for better priced tickets than that, It looked like if you paid for tickets for 4pm (and after) a day in advance, you could get tickets for $37.99 per person).

Everyone got the FunDay package where you can eat free every 90 mins, ride everything including the water park
