Definitely a fun place for the entire family! Lots of different ride options! The seasonal activities like the Great Pumpkin Fest, SCarowinds and Winter Fest are neat! I like how the park is decorated for these events! If you think you might want to go more than twice, definitely get a gold pass! The drink pass add-on is also soooo worth it!

We went for Winter Fest. The park was decorated nicely and I absolutely loved the parade. There were people walking around in costumes of Christmas old. There were performances throughout the park and the times and locations were posted in several locations. We didn't ride while we were there...we just enjoyed the festivities.

Amazing amusement park! Very clean and well kept, staff that we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. Beautiful decorations for their winter festivities and so many fun things for kids and kids at heart! Everything was easily found and we found the app to be helpful finding locations around the park. Handicap accessible areas and restrooms available.

Went with my bestie, it was fun, we walked around and rode the Viper, completely shook us!🤣 not much good food choices, panda express is there but seems to be lacking. It was a good walking park though, and there was also a parade which the kids enjoyed. Not that busy when we went there which was a Sunday.

This visit was for winter fest. Do not go expecting rides very few are running but the lights and magic feeling of Christmas is great try being the kid you know you want to be.we had a blast worth the trip as long as you know what to expect. Also find scrooge and tell him I sent you bet dressed group there and keep a eye out for deer they got loose when we were there

Fantastic Park. Very clean, and super clean restrooms (which is an oddity). I will note that the food is good all around. They have a lot of GREAT roller coasters. The Fury is wild! We have been here 2 times and have had a blast. We had a minor issue with our Fast Pass but Shane in Guest Services was awesome and took care of us. We will be back soon!

I came down to experience winterfest here. I also came to ride fury 325. The park was well decorated. I can't imagine all the effort that goes into making a park look so good like this. Well I rode fury 325 eight times. I rode copperhead strike once. That's pretty much what I came for and I was very happy and had a great time.

Carowinds is always fun. This was our first time going during the holiday season. The park offered a lot of activities such as ice skating, smores kit, arts and crafts for kids.

Been here last year for Christmas, it was fine experience but probably won’t be coming back. Lots of places with rides were poorly lighted or just dark. One of Skyview ride stuff were badly sick and sneezing, working on a cold, i feel truly bad for the guy, can’t believe they couldn’t provide him other place to work besides being outside. But overall it’s fun place to take your family and have some fun, see some Christmas lights.

We did Scarowinds. Had great time. Lines are shorter and much cooler at night. Five different haunted houses and tons of Halloween themed decorations, games and rides. Beware of the men holding chainsaws!

My family and I love coming here. We get Gold passes every year so we can go to Scarowinds and WinterFest. It is crowded so I suggest taking a picture of your child with what they are wearing that day incase you might get separated, especially if you have a runner, and I always put my phone number in my kids bag just to make sure.

We like going to walk the park and enjoy the outdoors. Plenty of rides depending on what you are looking for. Scarowinds and Winterfest are fun as well. We ended up buying season passes that end up paying for themselves after 3 trips I think. Easy in and out if you know your way around the property.

Our favorite place to go all the years. It's so crowded when scarowinds starts. Especially Saturday. I recommend coming before 6. To find good parking spots.

If you have never been on it, I highly recommend the fury 365, by far THE best coaster I've ever been on. We went during winter fest and had a blast, scarowinds was great too. If you live in the surrounding area a gold season pass is a must have, free parking and the pass pays for itself if you go just 3 times in the year but feel free to go every weekend more often. The gold pass gets you into scarowinds and into fall fest.

Lovely day. Not super packed. The rollercoasters are mind blowing. The staff is not excited but they’re a bunch of college kids in the sun, I don’t blame them. Great experience overall.

A little on the pricey side but if you want to try to save money you can always go to the website and pay for day tickets a day in advance (for better priced tickets than that, It looked like if you paid for tickets for 4pm (and after) a day in advance, you could get tickets for $37.99 per person). We paid about $43.00 per person (but that's because we purchased tickets for the same day for 4pm and after) per person. In our opinion, it was better than $75.00 or $80.00 per person that they charge if you try go before 4. I definitely recommend buying tickets online, especially if you plan to go at 4 or after, I didn't see any ticket booth open to buy tickets). When I called the number, it straight up told me we had to purchase tickets online. Also, be prepared to go through a metal detector if you have anything metallic on you. I highly recommend checking your pockets and purse and leaving anything unnecessary in the car before walking into the park. They will go through everything you have (and dump it all out on the table in front of everyone) to find out what is causing the metal detector to go off. So remember to take the necessary steps. We had fun though. The kids had fun too. That's what it's about anyways. We got to enjoy the park and all of its rides and it was open until 9 that evening (well, it was supposed to be but that's another story for another day). Just so you know, parking has to be paid separately as well and it was $30.00. This was on a Thursday (Just mentioning that because I kept seeing people online saying it was $25.00). That's not the price we paid. Just want all of you to be able to make an informed decision and still be able to have fun at a price that works for you. Since school started, they are open from 5pm-10pm. Be safe!

Had an absolute blast! Brought my daughter here for her birthday. We had the most amazing fun on the roller coaster. We went on Labor Day weekend so as you can imagine it was pretty packed, we got the fast lane bands that way we didn’t have to wait in line forever and could ride the roller coaster over and over and not have to wait in a huge line. I’d say they are well worth the money if you love going on roller coasters but hate the lines. Definitely a must do with the family! Oh and by the way the entire park is cash free. So have to use card only, which wasn’t an issue I just didn’t know initially and had brought cash with me to go to the park.

Amazing experience for families. My kids voted this the best summer ever because we stayed at the water parks, pools, and amusement parks. Carowinds was voted #1 for trips took this summer. Everyone got the FunDay package where you can eat free every 90 mins, ride everything including the water park. We also added on the souvenir drink with free refills every 15 mins. Definitely recommend if taking children.
