Pippin was on our list to try. We planned to go before heading to dinner in Charlottesville.The events of the day had us running a little late but we just made it for tasting. They had a private event to set up for afterwards. But the staff was still very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with the tasting selection and opted to get a glass instead. I was debating between two and the wine server gave us a taste of each. They didn't have any of the dessert wine I wanted chilled so he suggested another by giving us a taste. We purchased a glass and bottle of each plus the other dessert wine. The views there are the best. We will be back when we have more time to enjoy the wine along with the view and the scenery

On Saturday I came in with a group of 12 celebrating a bacholarette party. It was amazing. The views were stunning and although it was very busy the staff was friendly and attentive. Alex was the guy who poured for our tasting. He was awesome. Very knowledgeable of the wines and even came outside to take a group photo for us! With somehow perfect timing when we finished the tasting our table was ready. Annie was our server and she was great. She was so nice and really let us know what was happening every step of the way. The food was amazing! The wine was amazing! Keep up the good work y'all. We had a great time!!
What a wonderful place to sit and have a glass of excelllent wine. I loved the Cannon Red; I hope I have the name right! We also had a cheese and meat plate that was perfect for mid afternoon snack. And very nice views.
My fiancé brought me here for my birthday. I have never been to a nicer winery in all my life. Not only is the wine amazing but so are the staff and the food. From the moment we left, I couldn’t wait to get back. I highly recommend you try out the other area wineries before Pippin Hill as this will ruin them all for you! Special thanks to Matt for making us feel so at home.

The wedding staff was excellent throughout the day and very helpful and attentive. The food was amazing at the wedding during cocktail hour and the meal. The wine was great. Very beautiful day!
Stunningly beautiful location/facility. Need more 2-top tables in the tasting room and less 4-tops and a better set up for reserving larger groups in the seating area for some food and wine.
My husband and I just went to Pippin Hill to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. All of the staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. We went on a Sunday so we lucked out that we had just a short wait for a table. This was truly our favorite winery that we have ever visited! The building was beautiful and the views were incredible, such a dreamy place! Highly recommend!!!
Beautiful setting, friendly staff and delicious food and wine. We were here for a wedding and throughly enjoyed ourselves despite the rain. Thank you for providing a wonderful venue for our friends wedding weekend!

My niece brought us to Pippin Hill It is such a beautiful winery. The scenery is incredible. The food was excellent and the wine is very good. We will visit again when we visit Charlottesville.
