This place was amazing!!! Great Sunday brunch with a variety of options. My meal was the Friends with Benedicts and it was spot on. Terrific service and a place that l’ll definitely revisit. Please note to bring cash and expect to wait a bit. Totally worth it though!

The food is excellent I recommend the Tugboat . It is eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The waitresses are very friendly and it is my new go-to spot for breakfast in Charlottesville.

My favorite breakfast place on earth! Amazing good food here... awesome service and great coffee!! The omelettes ate my favorite! Thin, layered and savory.. the spanikopita with gyro meat is wonderful. . And when they have the portabello sage swiss omelette on special .. do not miss it!

Great staff, super food, well worth the wait. And we had the chance to visit with others waiting. This was fun since we were visiting from out of state.

The food was absolutely incredible, the hash browns were the best I have ever had. The service was fast and as friendly, and the atmosphere was very cool.

What a neat and fun little whole in the wall. My daughters and I drove over an hour each to meet for Mothers Day. What a fabulous idea and we were not disappointed. I believe we may have found our weekend meeting spot. Thank you BGB!!

This is by far the best breakfast joint in the greater Charlottesville Albemarle area. I'm not kidding you. And if you like the taste of the eclectic, they specialize in that. But there are solid, heavy hitting breakfast meals that are the best tasting and most generous portions in the area. Everything is homemade except for the English muffins!

Excellent food! It took 6+ years of living in Charlottesville before I ate at the Bluegrass Grill for the first time and the hour-long wait time get in on a Sunday morning was worth it!! I’ll go back on a weekday next time so I don’t have to wait that long which was partially attributed to being a party of 5. A few parties of 2 and 4 got tables before us so beware if you have 5 people in your group. I had the spanakopita omelet with spinach, feta, and mozzarella which was fantastic. Others in our group had pancakes, the P4 and eggs Benedict. Super vegetarian friendly.

Cash or check only; they do not accept cards here. Service was great even with a packed restaurant. There are a lot of unique breakfast options including vegetarian dishes. The place has a unique and cozy atmosphere despite being packed. There is only one restroom in the place. The home fries are delicious and the Banana Foster Pancakes were fantastic. Coffee was alright, although the eclectic collection of cups they used was a nice touch to the dining experience. BRING CASH!!!

Delicious breakfast all day in a casual room where Cville locals eat. Park in garage next door & they validate.Go on a weekday betw 10-2 for less of a crowd. We got a frittata & 2 kinds of potato hash. Pay w cash or check.

Classic southern food. Menu has a lot of options. All the food was delicious! They do only take cash or check, though.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. The Hungry Norman Benedict was stupid delicious. Coffee was good, service was friendly and prompt. You will have to wait a bit for a table but 100% worth it.

Always great food here! I usually try to come on a weekday to avoid the long wait, but even if there is a wait it’s worth it! I usually get their savory options (corned beef hash, omelets and portobello mushroom hash are awesome!) but tried their bananas foster pancakes this time and I’m glad I did! They might be my new go-to! Love their bacon and their home fries as well! Bluegrass Grill and Bakery is a must-try!

Love this place! The wait was insane on homecoming weekends (oops) but so worth it. Got the burrito with black bean chili, eggs, fresh roasted veggies, mango salsa and topped with cucumber sour cream. Potatoes were 10/10. Awesome environment. Kind folks. Highly recommend.
