This is the best burger spot in Charlottesville hands down the staff are friendly and funny food is hot and delicious it really represents old school American diners
Just a great college diner. Great history and ambience. Had the sausage gravy and toast and a simple ham and cheese omelet. It's a must when you're in Charlottesville.
What a great little spot. Ordered a double gus burger hold the bun. It was delicious. Fast Friendly and not over priced.
Tasty burgers for an affordable price. Speedy service and cold drinks seal the deal.
Good food but wasn't expecting to be as high as it was for what I was getting. Side of fries being $5 is a lot. So for a sandwich and side it cost a little more than $15. Not terrible but for that much I'd a least expect for a drink to come with it. I'll consider coming back though.
The food is very good and so is the guys fixing it. Had a very good steak and cheese with homemade hot sauce. Very good
A Charlotteville classic. You haven't lived until you've had a late-night Gus burger and fries. They also have to go orders if you're ready to pass out. Even sober, this food is amazing - prepared fresh for you. Highly recommend
Greasy spoon that is quick serving breakfast and lunch. Grill is right in front of the counter which is good and bad. If you ask for something the cook may answer with their backs towards you so maybe they heard you and maybe not. If you are in the mood for for a quick and basic meal without concern
