Came here because it was one of the only restaurants in the area that were open late and had good reviews Really nice way to end the day after a trip to Cape Cod. LOBSTER TOSTADA My dad ordered this and it was amazing! I was generated surprised by how good this was. Probably the best dish on the table to be honest. Just be dirty out on the bottom. Was actually really nice at the avocado and lobster and everything going on on top went so well together! I would not have minded about two servings of this just for myself! FRIED CALAMARI Quite a good calamari. It was not overly greasy or to soggy or anything. Good portion of calamari versus just batter and overall a nice dish. FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH Quite a big sandwich! My sister got this one and I think she really liked it. It looked very pleasing to the eye as well. LOBSTER ROLL I was expecting this to be quite big because of the price but it was quite a small roll. Very large amount of lobster but the bun itself was quite small. I asked the server for an extra plane bun so that my husband and I could split the lobster and make two rolls out of it. Honestly, it would have probably been better with just the one bond because now the portion size of the lobster seem too less for two buns. They also charged us for the extra bun. SUPER MAC BURGER This was my brother's burger. Quite a large burger and actually very flavorful to be honest. She loved it as well and devoured it! MAC’S CLAM CHOWDER Quite a good clam chowder! Really creamy and flavorful and came hot as well. No complaints here.

This place is a dream come true 🥹!! My first time road tripping with my family since my celiac diagnosis / covid. I found this restaurant by absolute chance ( or call it faith! ) when I bumped into this extremely kind family at the Christmas tree shop, thanks to Elizabeth her mom and her grandma Joanne who recommended we absolutely try this place, not knowing that I have celiac disease! It was my first vacation since my diagnosis and I am eternally grateful to this place for allowing me to feel normal and on holiday!!! Oh and my family + pup loved it too. We ate here three nights in a row. The fried shrimp, the fried cod, the lemonade 😭🍋,the fries!!! 🍟 Ypu have no idea how much of a luxury and privilege this is. Having calamari at a restaurant in Montreal DOES NOT EXIT!! or any of this items EVEN GF SAFE FRIES are hard to come by. OH AND THE CORN omgosh ok I need to book another trip to Cape Cod asap! Now please open up a place in Montreal 🥹🙏😅 again thank you so much and if Elizabeth is reading this, thank you to you and your family 🩵✨( Milo says hello 🐶 )

Lively atmosphere with order and sit indoor or outdoor picnic style tables. Very busy but plenty of parking front and back. Blackened Cajun Tuna was outstanding. The salads with add on scallops and shrimp were also delicious.

Ice Cream Queen

Mac's always has fresh seafood. We had the clam strips, fries, lobster tostada, steamers, and tuna wraps. All were delicious and the portions were pretty decently sized. There is seating indoors and outdoors. We choose a picnic table outside. The space is laid back and kid-friendly. We've never had their desserts, but they look good... and homemade.

My picky boyfriend and I were wowed by some pretty great dishes (Finally something different!). Food comes out hot, fresh, and fast because you order at the counter first thing. Atmosphere wasn't anything special but was comfy and they had plenty of outside seating. Staff were friendly and seemed happy. We tried the clam chowder, mussels, fried calamari, edamame, and the lobster gnocchi. The chowder is not your typical Cape Cod clam chowder - it's a much thinner soup with unique components and even though he's picky my boyfriend said he liked it better than any chowder he's had on the Cape (been all over Sandwich, Falmouth, etc). The mussels were plump and very flavorful! You get a substantial amount of food for the price and food is served promptly. Fried calamari was cooked perfectly with delicious mayo and arugula on top. Edamame came with some shaved salt and a lime. For the amount of delicious lobster on the lobster gnocchi and just how many great flavors there were we were shocked at the price. Sweet multicolored tomatoes and dollops of ricotta went perfectly with the dish. The food was presented artfully and we had to lick our plates clean. We splurged since we skipped breakfast and still hardly spent $40 a person including drinks. Absolutely delicious and worth a trip out to Chatham!! We'll be returning next time.

Ate here twice on our week trip. I highly recommend this place. I had the crab cakes for the first time and they were so good. I got shrimp the next day and wow. The customer service is amazing and yes there is a line! It goes so fast and there is a reason for the line.

This is a bit tough because Mac’s is great and has been since the first pier side spot opened in Wellfleet. A few things recently haven’t been good. We were shocked that on all you can eat fish and chips night when we asked for more fish we were told it was too late. Surely, someone should’ve asked if anyone wanted more or alerted us before it was time to shut down. Other diners were still eating their meals at the time. It left us feeling unsure we would feel comfortable returning. The blackened swordfish is just spicy but has no special flavor. The fried clams and fish sandwich are only fine. On the flip side, the Halibut special was outstanding. The flavor and quality of the fish and chips was also excellent and the clam chowder is reliably great. Normally, I’d start a review with the positives but having given 4 good stars it’s important the negatives are seen too. Room for improvement, Mac.

Long story short, it's a good place to try some seafood. Food: We ordered Clam Chowder, Fish n chips, Fried Calamari, and a hot dog for the kid. Clam Chowder: unfortunately for us, it wasn't the best we have had thus far. It was runny, had just 1 clam in it, and to make matters worst, I bit a stone in the gravy. I am generously giving it 3 outta 10. Fish n Chips: Friend Cod was good, and the fries were alright. 9/10. Fried Calamari : It was good but nothing great to write home about. I've had better ones here on LI, NY locally. Generously 7/10. Hot Dog: It was good. 9/10. Service: It was packed when we arrived and there was a queue. We decided to order to go, and placed the order with 15% tip over the bill. Fortunately, by the time the food was ready, there were some spots open and when requested, they arranged a table for 2 and also got a high chair, which was much appreciated. We unpacked the food and realized there were no cutlery. I went to get them and I was provided willingly. Had to go get water for us, which was no biggie, but considering the fact that I had tipped them already, it would've been a great experience to provide water to customers dining at the table. Still, generously 9/10. Atmosphere: Mac's is a nice place and I would definitely give it 9/10.

The Cole slaw was pretty tasteless. Other than that, everything was so good! A couple of us shared the seafood platter and it tasted so fresh, light and not greasy. The truffle fries were amazing but if they had the option, a little Parmesan would have taken them over the top!! The clam chowder is chock full of flavorful goodness. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely will include this on my list of must-go-to places when I come to the Cape next year.

The food is ok, most of the food is fried. We had the fish taco but with fried shrimp and the fried rice. The prices are a little bit high.
