The best! They are great with my kids food allergies (nuts and eggs). Over the years everyone who has taken our order has been very patient and kind and allergy aware. They have lists for what flavors have each of the major allergens posted, wash hands, get new clean scoop, open a new carton if available and give the kids an individually wrapped spoon. And they have A LOT of great flavors to choose from. Cash only and there is an atm there. Borders in the bike trail and that’s our favorite way to roll up.

You probably shouldn’t get ice cream 4 days in a row but how can you resist when short n sweet has the best ice cream! Pictured is strawberry cheesecake, Oreo and death by chocolate. Drive through is great but it does take a little longer but the staff is super friendly and on top of it

Best ice cream I’ve had at the cape and I’ve tried many. Open until Oct 11th. Fall flavors added to the expansive menu include s’mores, apple crisp and pumpkin. Cash only.
If you like ice cream with Oreo, they have multiple varieties. Phantomberry is my favorite: black raspberry + cookie + brownie.

Ok this is the best ice cream place ever. Period. Love the vibe, the most fun staff around for miles and Tens of flavors which all look delicious and the cookie dough being my favorite. All tips go to the teens making it to college so add a few bucks if you stop by. Absolutely the best ice cream shop. Check it out if your in the area!

Short 'n' Sweet has some of the best ice cream I've had anywhere. Their selection is large and the prices are very reasonable. 2 scoops - Pumpkin & Rum Raisin! Will be back again next time I'm on the Cape!

My favorite ice cream place on the Cape. It's in a cute old school house with heaps of character. The owners and staff are lovely and hard working locals. My favorite ice cream is Almond Joy with chocolate jimmies. It's awesome. You can order in front or out back where there is a nice seating area outdoors, and there's also indoor seating with a juke box (!). It's easy to get to, and the back of the shop also abuts the bike trail, so you can stop in on your travels. Highly recommend!
