Great restaurant in Chatham center. I thoroughly enjoyed our off season dinner there. The food was delicious! I loved my fresh fettuccine and clams. The Pan Seared Cornish Game Hen was terrific. And the cocktails were fantastic!! My Manhattan was perfect!
Everything we tried was top notch, very fresh and extremely tasty! Restaurant inside is a bit noisy but not a big deal. Overall we will be making it one of our go to spots in Chatham.
Stopped by Viera looking for a raw bar and was not disappointed. Multiple different oysters to choose from, plus some other options like jumbo shrimp. Drinks and service were excellent as well!
We celebrated our parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. We had 16 people in our party and everything was perfect. Sally was our server and she was outstanding. The food was amazing. Everyone in our party loved their meals. I had the scallops and they were delicious. It was a perfect night for such an important celebration. Thank you for making it a great night!
We loved the ambiance of this restaurant, and the seafood is so fresh and full of great flavor! My lobster roll was perfection and my husband loved his, too. When in town we would happily stop by again and we recommend them highly!
My husband and I have been coming to The Cape for years and for the last few years we have made Viera on Main a regular stop for a cocktail, dinner or both. No matter the occasion or what we were craving, seafood or a sirloin, Viera on Main fit the bill. The food is absolutely delicious, and is always the best restaurant experience we have when visiting. So when my son decided to get married in The Cape, we picked Viera on Main as our rehearsal dinner venue. Alfred Gillette and his staff did an amazing job from start to finish. Even the smallest detail(s) were not overlooked, from the table linens, dinner menu with bride and groom’s names, to flowers on the table, everything was perfect!
The food was incredible! We had the choice of several different appetizers, during the cocktail hour and then again during the Welcome Party. All were delicious and in abundance. The lobster sliders should not be missed, they could be a meal in itself. There were three full dinner courses, and the presentation was beautiful, and the courses were amazingly delicious. From crab cakes, to the clam chowder, wedge salad, sirloin, seafood, creme brûlée, or brownie sundae, every course was tastefully created. Also tastefully created was the selection of cocktails. From a large selection of beer and wine, to Viera’s own specialty cocktails like the salted caramel martini with a pretzel rim which was extremely popular and yummy.
Alfred and his staff were polite, kind and professional. If I could give Viera on Main a higher rating I would. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, family, friends, or you want a venue for a slightly larger occasion, Viera on Main fits the bill and is the perfect place!
Dinner was delicious. Very accommodating with making wife something not on the menu. Made her crab cake sliders. Amazing
Flank steak was cooked perfectly
I’ve worked in restaurants in my younger days so I appreciate it when something is done right. My daughter wanted a nice dinner. She is a Cornell Hotel grad and liked the reviews she read.
I expected overpriced average tourist fare. I was pleasantly surprised. Had a perfectly cooked medium rare filet mignon with a reduction sauce and mashed potatoes and asparagus sides.
I worked at Pate’s in Chatham as a waiter almost 40 years ago. And this filet was a 10/10.
I will definitely be eating here in the future. Great job guys!
Family dinner. Age span 4-84. All had a wonderful time. Delicious raw bar, salads, bone marrow, fish. Our favorite meal in Chatham.
If you take out the fact that the food took literally 60 minutes. This place is nice. A little overpriced but it is expected due to location, I might have overlooked the later if the food came to the table in a timely fashion. It was a Sunday sunmer evening , if they were not expecting the level of clients to rise on a weekend there are many areas to improve.
Had a fantastic waitress, on point service, timing, etc. Food was absolutely wonderful. Drinks/wine etc well done. (Only tiny downside was the coffee at the end - my fiance said it was really not good). But - if that's all we had as a "problem", that deserves a 5 star. Recommend it to couples, adults, etc - not really a children's place. I'd go back again anytime.
The meal was very good and service was excellent. The dining room atmosphere was somewhat lacking.
We have had some very good meals here including the salmon, duck and swordfish, all very good. The duck was quite delicious in fact. Shrimp cocktail is fresh, arancini delicious and good chowder as well. The crème brûlée was a nice finish. Atmosphere is suited for dressy or casual with ample outdoor dining and a full raw bar. Service was exceptional by our waitress Sally. Our only gripe is the cocktail glasses might only be 6 oz and with ice, it doesn’t leave much. This was quite an issue with a featured cocktail at $27. We averaged $85 a head so not cheap but we liked our experience. It’s been under new ownership for two years and the food has improved greatly. So if it’s been awhile since you’ve been here, you won’t be disappointed.
Charming atmosphere & amazing food. Your choice of oysters from multiple locations on the cape..try Chatham, Welfleet & Dennis oysters side by side. A great experience!
We were a party of eight popping in on a Wednesday evening without a reservation. The hostesses did their very best to accommodate us. We had a great evening. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the waiter very professional and great food. We chose to share most of the appetizers and all were delicious especially the lobster roll. Thank you!
Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. Waitress was wonderful
