This deli is worth the drive. First of all, there are 3 gluten free bread options which most delis don’t have. Then, try the cranberry mayo! They have 3 mayo blends but I’ve only tried the cranberry mayo and I even buy extra to take home for during the week. Rice pudding is great too!
I cannot say enough great things about Hickory Tree deli. The service is fast, everyone is so polite and the sandwiches are absolutely incredible. The price for the quality cannot be beat. As locals, it’s our go to at least once a week.
There is nothing on this menu, nothing I’ve ordered, that isn’t absolutely delicious. They provide the best customer service and never ever disappoint. I’d give more stars if I could.

Super declious food!! Went here for the first time and they serve a generous amount of deli meat on your sandwhiches. The paninis are delicious and flavorful, portion sizes are great. And they have a bunch of drinks and snacks to choose from. staff is friendly! Will definitely be going back

Absolutely best deli! If I am within a 30-minute drive, I will bring an ice pack and cooler to bring their delicious Roast Beef/Turkey Joes home. Only wished we lived in Chatham to enjoy more often.

Best deli in the area. After visiting most delis from summit to morristown, Hickory tree hands down makes the best sloppy joes.
Feels great to have a tasty and dependable deli right down the street. Good sandwiches and homemade soups and freshly prepared salads! They also have a wonderful variety of already prepared dinners that can be heated at home. Love Hickory Tree Deli. Also, the employees are super friendly!

Hands down these guys are the absolute best! I'm a loyal fan due to their excellent/quick service, and the quality & yummy-ness of their food. They make amazingly satisfying sandwiches and the place is clean as a whistle. I love this place! Keep up the great work!
This is my favorite deli in the world! Every time I happen to be within 50 miles of the area (which is only maybe once every few years), I bring a cooler and ice because I know I'll pack it with turkey joe sandwiches to take back home.

I think that this is the best deli in the area for lunch. I usually stick with the day's special, whatever it is, but I also like the sloppy joes and the chef's salad. Great owner, great staff, short waits even if the line is long.
I usually come here for breakfast sandwiches or hoagies. Out of all the local sub shops around, this place is definitely at the very top. They have an 8 inch sub option which is perfect and the quality of food here is very high making it worth every cent! The staff is friendly and very quick to make
