Great tasting food all at an affordable price. Meal for two came out at about $30 and everything tasted great and came out fresh. We waited quite a while for the food to come out but it was worth it as everything was hot and flavorful. Definitely recommend the shrimp fried rice. The shrimp were great! Portion sizes are perfect; enough for two people to share comfortably. Definitely recommend.

After eating here weekly when I worked nearby, I hadn’t been back for a few years. Our lunch was as delicious as ever and the staff are very friendly. The Wonton and Hot and Sour soups were great. We also loved the Spicy Garlic Chicken and the Chicken and Vegetables. All dishes looked beautiful and were hot and fresh. I happily recommend Bean Curd!

New to the area and wanted to check out Bean Curd! Interior is old school and charming. Food was very good, fresh, and not overly salty like some Chinese food can be. I’m still thinking about the chicken lo mein!

Better ingredients than other Chinese places around here, cute oldskool dining room with waiving cat figure at the entrance, attentive service, generous servings.

Bean Curd in Chatham, N.J. is an adorable eatery. They are an excellent restaurant for very well prepared Asian food. Try their Sesame Chicken. It is superb. We usually drive all the way to Red Bank for good Chinese food, but Bean Curd is a lot closer and very good.

Pretty decent food overall, usually get the sesame chicken and beef lo mein for take out. Sit-down service is also very pleasant as the food comes out quick. However, the past few times the food has been somewhat dry. It won't stop me from coming back

Still love this place, it feels much like it did decades ago. The new management is very kind, the calm setting always works, and the food is very good. Great place to bring the family.

This is our favorite restaurant for Chinese food take out in the area! We find that the food is always tasty and portions are large! We never feel overly full nor does it seem like the food is too heavy after eating here, which is all you could ask for! Chicken is always tender and the rice is always steamed to perfection!

Solid Chinese American standbys. Was a tough road taking over from a local, beloved, family business; the first year was fraught with missteps, but now they are delivering. Egg rolls, wontons, noodles and fried rice are very good. Better than before. Kung Pao vastly improved. Sesame chicken has been spot on every time. I trust the owners will continue to emphasize quality ingredients. It makes a huge difference and it shows. I will also add that the young ladies managing the front of the house are delightful and sincere in offering attentive service. Thank you! Some dishes are a little pricey but you can thank our President and Speaker for that. We’re grateful to have a solid, serviceable Chinese local in what is really a food desert.

So glad we tried Bean Curd after new owners have taken over. We have ordered out at least 4 times in the last 2 months and it has been consistently very good! We used to go to China Chalet in Florham Park, but after a bad food experience a year ago we just can not return. Then we tried a place in Berkeley Heights. It was just ok, but we hadn’t found anything better until we gave the Bean Curd a shot. So glad we did!! Everyone should try it. My only advice to the new owners would be to change the tablecloths and get new carpeting or put in a different type of flooring.

Food is good quality. We have ordered a few times and typically get an order of the Spring Rolls (crispy & fresh), pork lo mein, sweet & sour chicken - chicken is little popcorn pieces and sauce is separate when delivered - always a household fav, firecracker beef (spicy beef) w/ carrots which is thin beef pieces and has a nice kick to it and was really good), and we also typically get the Seasame Chicken - huge pieces wrapped in the fried batter and very good - kids love these too. Highly recommend if you have not tried their food.

Food was delicious. I haven't been here in a while as we live in Long Valley now, but we were visiting family and decided to do take out. Definitely did not disappoint. Still as delicious as I remember. Everything was fresh.

Been a customer since the 1980's. Never a bad experience. Best cold noodles in the area!

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant itself could use some dusting and some updates as it is just run down. Shame because the food was really delicious
