Had a great dining experience at the Blue Plate in late March. Wonderful atmosphere (make sure to check out the cozy bar area downstairs), pleasant and friendly service and exceptional food. Very enjoyable surroundings, nice decor and not loud so easy to have dinner conversation. I had the trout filets and they were cooked to perfection with a nice light lemon butter sauce. Make sure to save room for dessert, especially the hot fudge sundae with the best hot fudge sauce you will ever have.
Mouthwatering scallops over mushroom risotto were terrific, as was the memories of growing up in Chatham & spending time with lifelong friends! Our group of eight enjoyed excellent service & the native Italians with us were very impressed! Light, bright atmosphere. A definite "must do"!
Sometimes you can experience amazing culinary moments. This one could be in a Guide Michelin, it should be. It is simply good, qualitative very well managed and very well cooked. All that for a very reasonable price. Cant recomend more you wont be disappointed
Would love to love this place. They have young women bustling about, twinking lights in the night like a beacon, great menu --- but just never took shine to it the way I should have. One time the waitstaff asked if it was "just me" and couldn't get me the WIFI password, another visit the food arrived lukewarm and sat at the bottom of my stomach. It is a miracle growing out of an area otherwise free of attractions, and seems to be a local social hub. Maybe it's just me.
We are so excited that Blue Plate reopened. It's exactly what we thought it would be after hearing about it from others; delicious, inventive meals in a great setting.
Varied and excellent choices, very attractive and charming farmhouse feeling, and do not miss the brussels sprouts!
I’m glad that The Blue Plate is back after the covid shut down and that they’re bringing back live Jazz.
I had a delicious meal there last week and am looking forward to live music again.
