Ok, not great. This location was okay, not as good as the one on Gunbarrel Rd though. The prices are higher here as well, then again isn't everything downtown.
Quality ingredients make a Quality Burger. Stopped by for a quick lunch. Fast order-taking by a friendly fellow. Ordered burger and fries. Restaurant was clean, employees were clean, restroom was clean.
Great Burger. Juicy and delicious. Fries were hot and abundant. Peanuts fresh.
I've had it with $10.00 burgers at "upscale" places (Urban Stack and others) that are over-hyped and over-priced for second-rate quality. It's Five Guys for me.
Good. So I was excited that Five Guys finally opened downtown. The food is good. I have been there a few times, and my order has been messed up twice now. It is good though. I don't get why they have tip jars at this place (I have never seen one at any other Five Guys??). This sounds petty but they shout "2 patties" every time someone orders a burger. The employees also talk really loud (sometimes scream) in the kitchen. Maybe I am just too observant, but I prefer the Hixson location better.
