Me and my girlfriend went here yesterday morning, and the food was very fresh and good quality. The pancakes were very fluffy, in the hard boiled poached eggs I have never tried poached eggs, and they were very delicious. I am not a fan of unsweetened tea, but this place managed to make it a very refreshing drink alongside my breakfast, and I will only get my iced tea from them now if it is unsweet.
Not to mention the painting of the anime girl within the dining room made it all the more enjoyable as I am a fan. We will definitely be coming back here, and I highly recommend it.
Delicious inventive menu with lots of locally sourced food options, vegan & GF friendly, nice people, super cute authentic vintage firehall location. Plus you can’t go wrong with a breakfast place that serves yummmm sautéed greens as a side!!!
Creative menu. Delicious food. Beautiful presentation. Fantastic staff. I'm very happy they are in my neighborhood!
Excellent option for a gourmet treat! So delicate and flavorful. We tried two different kinds of pancakes and they were absolutely delicious. Presentation was an important part in the experience. Colors and textures were amazingly combined to make first impressions an A+. We really enjoyed the place, an old fire house. Simple still cozy and dull of light. Great coffee by the way! We’ll be back!
Wow mama. I mean absolutely delicious. Pancakes of the day (Orange Blossom Pancakes, Tang Coulis, Clementines, Sunflower Seeds) were amazing. Super fluffy, and tasted like an orange creamsicle! I can’t believe I finished that three-stack! My boyfriend had the egg pie and grits. Also incredible. Everything made fresh. Staff was sweet as could be, and super attentive. Just a wonderful experience altogether. Highly recommend for a lazy rainy day Sunday brunch!
Phenomenal food!! The stack of pancakes I believe to be one of the best things I have ever eaten.

Forget that other place you go to for a special breakfast. This is you’re new favorite spot.
We had such a great time here. It's very new and they are just getting their rhythm, so don't come expecting to get in and out quickly, and the menu is pretty small, but the food is great and the whole experience is adorable. Definitely worth it.
Delicious food, and the menu always has something new. The service and atmosphere are warm and welcoming.
Everyone in my family got a different dish and shared because everything sounded so good! This was a great idea because everything was as tasty and filling as it sounded. My favorite thing was the cold brew. It comes in a glass bottle and is good on its own or you could add some maple syrup for a nice seeet kick. I will definitely be back for more!
I had the opportunity to participate in Ocia’s popup brunch a while back where I had TWO of the most delicious things I've ever tasted-handmade pastrami and her one of a kind cardamom pancakes. I can't wait for next time!
Can't get enough of Syrup & Eggs! Hands down my favorite spot in Chattanooga. Great vibes and even better food. Y U M

Ohhhhh so good! Everything we had was incredibly delicious and made with care——pancakes with almonds and cherries, grits, greens, biscuits with veggie gravy. In addition, The server was welcoming, kind and attentive to our needs. I would travel to Chattanooga again for the sole purpose of eating at Syrup and Eggs!
Fancy stacks of fluffy vegan pancakes all day long. With toppings like Blueberry Compote, Apple Pie, Candied Pecans, Chocolate Chips etc. Tell them you want the vegan stack with vegan butter and then have fun with the vegan toppings. They have an amazing Avocado Toast, Vegan Cream Cheese and Pepper Jelly, and Home Fried Potatoes with Mushroom Gravy or Pesto (we get both and share!) Enjoy a delicious mug of artisanal oat milk hot chocolate, gourmet tea or hand crafted coffee with vegan creamer!
Love this place. Chattanooga's got so much charm. Great service from the staff. The food was so good. It's a bit pricey, but it's absolutely on point. I can't wait to go back.
I like Syrup & Eggs! The spin on their pancakes is great, such a Big City food experience for our Medium city of Chattanooga.
When I went, I planned ahead as I had read reviews & knew the waiting situation could be quite the experience. My cousins and I were coming to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday and out of an abundance of caution I arrived at Syrup & Eggs at 9:30 (although we weren't scheduled to meet until 10:30). At the time of arrival, I was told that it would be about a 45 minute to an hour wait. I was able to leave my cellphone number with staff to be called when a table was ready for my party. (At the time I came, I thought it would just be a table for 2, but later I had to adjust for a table of 3).
I was invited to sit in their waiting area, which was pretty full, though nicely decorated. I liked that they had free coffee and water. I also like that the waiting area was near the bar, so you could get a drink if you'd like. Overall the wait area was a medium noise level despite being quite crowded.
My cousins arrived around 10:15 and we waited about another 45 minutes. So that wasn't the greatest 😑
However around 11:15 we got a table!
I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Pancakes with a a side of scrambled eggs & biscut, while my cousin order the Just BS (I think) and my other cousin ordered one of the Grits plates.
The food was phenomenal! I loved the sesame pancake and it paired great with the chicken. (maybe in the future you can give a small serving of kimchi or pickled veggies with this dish) The biscuit is a bit too crunchy for me, but I know some folks like that. My cousins also had nothing but praise for the food. We also tried the coffee cake, though that wasn't our favorite.
I enjoyed myself so much that I risked the wait time to bring my dad that next week. Going on a Tuesday was great because there was no wait time! Just walked up to the building & was sat at the table 😲!
My dad really enjoyed his pancakes, in fact he wasn't able to finish them! This time I tried the Cinnamon pancake & that was delicious as well!
Overall Syrup and Eggs is a great little spot. I hope that they continue to be able to offer great food. In the future, my wish is they implement some sort of digital queue, so you can check your position in line & that they will take call ahead, even if they're just day of alerts to let staff know how big your party is & that you're coming. (Also I wish their waiting area was bigger)
Such a cute place! The food was delicious and the decor is incredible! Very friendly staff as well. Pretty small and busy on the weekends, so expect a wait, but it's definitely worth it!
All I can say is WOW! Great brentwood. Wonderful coffee choices. You can eat light or dig in. Get here early as seating can get busy. Very relaxing. Great food and service.
Very cute & quaint place for breakfast! Great food & unique drinks. I loved the LEO which is a bagel lox plate made with their own whipped up cream cheese also loved the pricked pear drink. 10/10 would recommend. Worth the wait if there is one.
