Beautifully located in the Southside at the corner of Market and Main Streets. Although I got my order to go, the atmosphere feels down-home and cozy. I got the Sampler 5 which-in my opinion-is the best culinary tour of New Orleans cuisine I could ever imagine. Definitely enough to share. Chef Mike greeted and welcomed me as if I was a guest at his home. Highly recommend!
Okay so just saying, I don't even like majorly spicy food but this Chicken Pasta that Chef Mike makes is soooo delicious! The lady who first greeted me (his wife, I believe?) was super sweet and so was the new server they hired recently. She said it was her second day but she still was very warm and provided exceptional service. I got it to go with the sauce on the side (picture before I added the creamy sauce) to control the spice level and ended up eating the whole thing. No leftovers here!
I haven't been there since the renovations and WOW it looks beautiful!! I'll definitely be back! Thank you for the wonderful meal and great service!
Super friendly staff, we were seated right away and the food was delicious! We have never had gator in our lives, but glad we got to try it here for the first time! Delicious and highly recommend getting the fried gator appetizer. We also got the Nawlins’ Pasta and French Creole Pasta. All delish and highly recommend going.
We came in at 8:08 even though they close at 9 pm. The hostess was still polite enough to seat the two of us. Our server Randall was very helpful with recommendations on entrees and swiftly refilled our drinks. But the best part of our dining experience was how delicious the food was, compliments to chef Mike! The food was incredible as advertised!
Traveling up from Atlanta for a Overnight Date-Night with my wonderful wife, the only place we wanted to enjoy a dinner was here. Absolutely fabulous food and atmosphere and the owners and staff are just amazing. I highly recommend making reservations as this restaurant is always booked up. Looking forward to the next Overnight Date-Night. 💕
Absolutely phenomenal! We arrived without a reservation and about an hour before they closed. The bartender, who was also our server kindly greeted us and asked us to wait while he checked on the wait time. Within a few minutes he came back and asked if we would mind waiting 10-15 minutes for a table. We of course obliged and had a cocktail at the bar. We were seated in under 10 minutes and our order was placed soon after. We both ordered the French Creole pasta and a side of the Pimento Smoked Gouda Grits. Absolute foodgasm! I ordinarily do not care to eat out at restaurants because you never know what you are going to get, but this, this is amazingly food. Fresh ingredients, excellent mix of spices, the perfect amount of sauce, just phenomenal! And the service was top notch! On top of everything and as kind as can be! From the bartender to the chef and the gentleman whom we thought was just a friendly patron but actually worked there too! I would recommend highly recommend Blue Orleans, but it seems the general consensus is that reservations are recommend. So, make your reservation and run, don't walk, to Blue Orleans!
I love this place! I'm a local and ended up just walking in trying to grab a quick bite one day. The lady asked was we from out of town because we really was supposed to make reservations but she was sweet and still allowed me and my partner to have dinner there and I'm glad she did. It was worth it and online is available as well.
After watching the show on Restaurant Impossible we wanted to come to your restaurant. Last night was my brothers birthday and we came to eat for the first time. My brother and I are both lovers of New Orleans and the flavors of Cajun and Creole. I would just love to say to you bravo. The food and entire experience was delightful and we enjoyed meeting Cherita and Jolie. Everyone at our table got something different and We tried everything. It was all amazing . I also wanted give a shout out to Elijah Enzor and fellow Georgia musician that was so talented. Thank you so much for your hospitality and delicious food. We will be back again soon .
