UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Started coming here after YEARS at another chain.
Initially, it was okay!
Went by today for lunch and the meat on this SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN was SO OLD, that one can barely chew it. I was the 1st order of the day (LOOK AT THE RECEIPT) so how my food came up 2-days (at least) old is beyond me!
BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! THEY SERVE FOOD THAT HAS AGED!!! And FOOD POISONING is almost guaranteed!!!
I do not give negative reviews over minor stuff. I understand how a bad review can cause a business to suffer. But this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I have lived right around the corner for four years. I searched the web this morning for Chinese restaurants near me when this establishment was listed, and I was very pleased with the quality and quantity of food. I placed an order for five
people complete with soup and appetizers. Everyone was satisfied.

This weeks inspection revealed a lot-score 64!. Interesting it mentioned bedding. I was there over a year ago, and saw the cot in the hall with someone asleep on it. I blocked the restrooms, which had an out of order sign, and a curtain pulled across the opening,
Young daughter learning the business by taking orders was totally rude. My one and only visit there.

First time writing a review. Ordered 3 different combination meals for our dinner. All three tasted terrible and made us nauseous. Also the spring rolls had a bad smell. Maybe just happened this one time but I felt I needed to let people know.

I was absolutely not very satisfied here.
I was in a hurry the day I stopped but realize that everyone can't be fast food which is why I stopped. Normally Asian food is cooked fresh.
I hadn't ever been there so wasn't sure what to expect.
Upon entering. There was an older gentleman sitting at one of the tables, head down on his crossed arms. Sound asleep. I thought ok...I'm not going to judge bc I can't imagine how hard he must usually work.
Plus he was pretty up in age. So, what do you say?!
Yet then, a very young small child. Took my order. Rang me up. Knew how to work the card machine. I was stunned. I know it's custom they put their children to work from an early age. So, as I stood there listening to her call my order out in her native language. I was thinking it was neat how young but how smart she is. But then, she disappeared into an area to the left where there were 2 pull doors. There was a small cot there and another young girl. Maybe a teen. Was sitting on the floor cot, picking her toenails. Then when they noticed I looked at the elderly man again, looked toward the room w/the cot. The girls were made to wake the man up,, which he moved to the cot & the girls sat at the table he was sleeping at. The girl that had been picking her toenails, didn't wash her hands before sitting down to play on her phone the at the table. That....done it for me. Since the meal wasn't costly. I didn't say a word. I just left.
Needless to say, I won't be going back. Too bad too. It doesn't appear East Ridge has many Asian places to eat from now.

I was looking for Chinese one day close to where I live on 14th Ave. I was a little skeptical at first as I am with trying a new location that's not my go to. Let me just say New China is literally a hidden gem of a place. It's your typical setup for a small hole in the wall fast Chinese establishment. Complete with the same menu pictures of the food you find in all Chinese restaurants. Lol but the food is made fresh to order and reasonably priced. There have been times I didn't get as much food but for the price I paid I'm not going to complain.
There are times they are busy which is to be expected when the food and price is reasonable. One thing I can say with certainty is everytime I've ordered my food for pickup it was always hot and fresh.

I was told the food wasn’t spicy but it was. They didn’t care when I called to complain about it. They said it’s just a little spicy but when I ordered I said no spicy food and I was told it wasn’t spicy no compensation for them lying to me. Don’t waste your time.

Best China is the BEST Chinese Restaurant in East Ridge, and one of the best in Chattanooga! We eat there a few times a month and have done so for over 3 years: we have yet to have even a mediocre meal. The service is fast, price reasonable, and the food ALWAYS taste freshly prepared.

So glad this is our neighborhood Chinese place. They are genuinely friendly and the food is fresh. They usually know it's us calling just by what we order. Love these people!

Take Out Heaven!. This is the ONLY place I ever get Chinese takeout. I have tried other places in the past, but they're just not as good. Everything is well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and their portions are crazy! If you are getting Chinese takeout from anywhere else you're cheating yourself.

This restaurant has been around for a while. I wanted a late snack so I dropped in for some dumplings and combo fried rice. I got an extra dumpling and the little rice box was about to burst ! I think the secret to getting something good at a place like this might be keeping things simple. The fried dumplings were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I really liked them. The fried rice didn't rate quite as well but it was still good. I just feel that if you want an entree that you are better off with a full service restaurant, but you decide!
