First time here, as we walked in we were greeted n sat quickly, drink order was taken right away. Very fresh food... Egg drop soup, egg rolls, honey chicken, crab Rangoons,Etc. were great!! Service was a 10/10 .our waitress n all staff did a great job. This place takes pride in what they do, that's serving the best Chinese food around. Thx China Buffet for an amazing experience.
My family and I all greatly enjoyed our dinner buffet. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was right on top of drink refills and taking empty plates. Very pleasantly surprised and we'll be back.
Food was really greasy, other serving station is used as storage. $35 for two Is a little steep for only having one serving bar to eat from. 5 stars cause I don’t like to negatively effect business. Very kind staff.
The food is actually amazing! I've been missing this kind of Chinese food since moving north. The price is great, and the buffet has lots of favorites!

My daughter loves this place. I like that I can go in and order the buffet by weight as a "to go". The takeout option is great for a pinch when you don't have time to cook but want a healthier option with real vegetables for your family.
Just stop at the front counter and they will provide you boxes to fill at the buffet.
The prices for meals are different at different times of the day.
Lunch features a much lower price than dinner like most restaurants in this genre.
So if you are going out shopping and plan on getting your order here it's best to pick up earlier than later if you hope to snag lunch prices.
The staff is always friendly. The tables and buffet area are well-staffed and maintained.
There is a restroom provided for customers down the hallway in the back.
Big TV's are provided in the dining area as well for the game watchers!
This branch can also host parties for businesses so if your company needs a local spot for an employee event with good food provided this is the place to go.
100%. Food was the best. Staff don’t have the best English, but it’s alright and I understand cause I know they come from Asia, not to mention the staff are super nice, food is great, if your eating here, the crab ragoons are the best. They have great soup too. Will be coming back. Oh and whatever that red sauce is I put it on everything it’s so good I even put it on the mini sugar donuts and it tastes great.
I love going to China Buffet because I can get what I want. They generally have a pretty good selection and variety of food. Yes, they only have one buffet bar open, but COVID took a bite out of their business and they need more people to go and eat there to get their business back to pre-COVID.
I think the food is pretty good. I love their coconut shrimp and the chicken for sweet and sour.
The buffet is good if going in to eat, but I also like the option to go select a variety and go.
A bit pricey but no more than any other restaurant today. Plenty of close parking, the restaurant is clean, and staff friendly.
We need to support this restaurant so we have a variety of places to eat in Cheboygan.
