FOOD:
We had come here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon at around 1:30 pm therefore, we were able to choose from the lunch menu. For an appetizer, we had settled on the Buffalo Chicken Dip ($9.49) to share. For my main dish, I had settled on the Pulled Pork Sammy ($9.49), with a side of Mashed Potatoes and Brown Gravy (which was complimentary), while my husband and our friend decided to share 8 Smokey Wings ($10.99) and 1 Full Rack of Baby
Back Ribs ($23.49), along with Beans and Dirty Rice as their complimentary sides (a piece of garlic bread was also included as complimentary). Our friend had settled on the Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Lemonade ($3.99) to drink, while my husband and I settled on water.
The Buffalo Chicken Dip came out first, with a small dish of dip, and a large array of nacho chips surrounding it. The dip itself was covered in cheese and small bits of fried chicken nuggets, which actually tasted quite disgusting. The dip wasn’t creamy enough, and the cheese on top was just a mess. Also, the nacho chips tasted stale; it was definitely an appetizer I would NOT recommend to anyone, although they claim it is delicious. Once I had tried the appetizer, I was a bit skeptical about how our main dishes would taste however, I tried to keep an open mind.
Once my Pulled Pork Sammy and Mashed Potatoes arrived, I was impressed with how nice the dish looked. The Pulled Pork Sammy was in a small bag on the dish, while the Mashed Potatoes had a small groove on the inside of the potato ball, with the gravy placed inside of it. I thought it was a great presentation, and had never seen anything like that before! The Mashed Potatoes were DELICIOUS, very hot (temperature-wise), and filled with goodness; I really did enjoy them, especially with the gravy, which added an extra delight! The Pulled Pork Sammy was also good, with shaved pork inside of a large hamburger-sized bun, with the option to add any of the sauces that were on the table. I found the pork to taste tender, along with the delicious sauce which made the pork taste even better when smothered with it.
My husband and our friend found the wings and ribs to be delicious; I actually had the chance to try one of the wings. Although they had a nice sauce on them, they were a bit burnt (something that should be attended to by the cook the next time around). Our friend was RAVING about how delicious the Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Lemonade was that he ordered three of them! We didn’t get a chance to try them but are now making an effort to replicate it on our own! Overall, food was pretty good (minus the Buffalo Chicken Dip), with a nice BBQ taste which is hard to come by nowadays.
ATMOSPHERE:
We were seated in a large booth near the front of the restaurant, which had cushioned seats however, hard backs which made it a bit uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time. There were large television screens above the bar near where we were sitting, and a variety of framed quotes and photos along the walls. We also loved the small television screen which was the end of our table, which allowed us to play paid games (if desired). We had never seen this before and were amazed at what it could do (it also tallied up our bill for us and allowed us to pay on the machine itself, much easier then having to wait for a server!)
SERVICE:
Our server’s name was Bailey. She was attentive, kind, and courteous, answering all of the questions that we had regarding the various items that we had ordered, along with coming around to see if we were enjoying our meal. She was a delight to have as our server, and would highly recommend her to anyone! She was fast, friendly, and above all else, looked to be enjoying her job!
COST:
1 Buffalo Chicken Dip: $9.49 + 8 Smoked Wings: $10.99 + 1 Pulled Pork Sammy: $9.49 + 1 Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs: $23.49 + 3 Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Lemonade Drinks: $12.00 = $71.16 (Taxes Included)
WOULD YOU RETURN?
We certainly would! We found our main dishes to be quite delicious, and reasonably priced, along with the many complimentary items that were included in our order. We would choose another appetizer the next time around though. Great service and atmosphere as well!
Not a bad BBQ joint. Pulled pork sandwich was very good. Very tender and flavorful. Brunswick stew was only fair. Good flavor, but not very meaty, more like soup than stew. Still they get the basics right so I would go back.
Love it! Been there many times. Triple platter the best!
Went there for dinner, the service was really good and the food was great. Would definitely go back.
Classic Burger was good. I visited this place the other day and had their Classic Burger for lunch. As burgers go, it was nothing too exciting, though it was perfectly done. It was juicy and came as I ordered it, medium rare. The fries were okay and the bottomless pop/soda was good enough for me.
Love this place. I am a very large fan of BBQ and travel to the south a couple times a year.....not sure why anyone can write a neg or say anything negative about this place....Smokey Bones Ribs are pretty much the best I have ever had...Highly recomend this place
Although the AC was not working in the restaurant during our visit (today was low 90s outside), I applaud our waitress Lexi for the excellent service and positive attitude. Shout out goes to the kitchen staff who had to deal with the heat and humidity while preparing the wonderful tasty selections. Not enough credit go to these wonderful people!
Food was very good. The brisket could use a bit of flavor but all in all the burger was sold. Pomegranate lemonade was banging and the wings 10 outta 10. Place was clean staff was nice and I enjoyed myself!
Food was good ....they had alot of drinks to pick from... in general it was good and not overly priced. my waiter Jessica was polite and prompt with my request and met my dining needs well ....one side note if they ask do you mind sitting in a high top ..I'd say Yes ! I do mind ... there really uncomfortable no were to put your feet they kind of dangle there unless your 8 ft tall ..
Absolutely loved my experience here. The service was a little slow but it was mothers day weekend so that was expected, but the food as phenomal and worth the wait. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!

First time here and everything was good but the steak. Asked for medium well and it came well done, no pink whatsoever and not sure what seasoning they put on the steak but it was barely tolerable. Just tasted weird. Service and everything else was great.
We enjoyed our visit and were very happy with the food.
For appetizer we got cornbread, which comes with sweet pecan butter, very tasty.
Also decided to try a new dish, “bone-fire”, and liked everything it comes with! Once it got to the table you could immediately smell smokiness as there are hot coals inside. If you put the food in the middle it’s actually cooking! Was pretty fun and very good value, the picture shows how much you get if you order 2 people portion. We both were very hungry and still had enough to take home a full to-go box.
I came here on Valentine’s Day (2/14/22)because everything was booked up. This was my 1st time coming. Everything was great. The food, the alcoholic drink, even the dessert. I’m still thinking about the cornbread and the special pecan butter along with everything else 🤤. Can’t wait to go back
