We love Sunrise! My family has been coming here for as long as I can remember. My parents used to bring me and now I bring my children. The staff is always so sweet and personable. Their fruit bowl is the best in town and I have never eaten anything I haven't enjoyed. I'm partial to the omelets, which are huge, but everything is fantastic! Definitely worth supporting!
Good food and service! Have always like eating breakfast/ brunch here. The people are friendly and always have good service.
I have been going here for years. Have been to other breakfast shops in the area, but keep coming back to Sunrise Breakfast, their food whether breakfast or lunch is hard to beat. I'm always satisfied with food and customer service.
I've been going to this place for years. My parents loved it and so do many of my friends. When I come back to VA I will go there again. Great atmosphere and wonderful service and the food is always good.
They have the best homemade food! I have been going there for 20 years and I have never been disappointed!
I absolutely love this place. The service was excellent and our server was A+. It has the feel of being amongst friends and family. The owners are delightful. I will definitely be going back every chance I get.
The best. I eat there every chance I get.The food is always great. The people there treat you like family.
Great food and atmosphere!! Even had Santa in for breakfast on Christmas Eve!!!
Simple delicious food, nice service, great prices. A perfect, hole in the wall greasy spoon.
The food is always delicious. The staff makes you feel like family. My favorite is the sunrise omelet and the fruit bowl. Great coffee!
Great breakfast. We come to this area once a year and this is a restaurant that's always on our list.
The staff and music were great. Atmosphere was nice, "mom and pop" cafe style decor with touches of patriotism (don't let the shopping center appearance deter you). It was busy, but we were seated right away on a Friday morning.
Our favorites were the home fries and sweet potato pancakes. Omelette's we're good, however the steak is processed philly steak. Coffee was average.
Honey & egg whites = extra charges
Great little breakfast shop with a surprisingly diverse menu. The employees were friendly. The place was very clean.
My 8 year old says, “really good!” I agree
Had the Filipino Breakfast with pork Tocino with scrambled eggs and fried rice. It tasted like mom's cooking and reminded me of home. Its Phillipino owned and operated. Yes it is small and you will more than likely have to wait to be seated but you will live the food and the prices. I highly recommend this place and will most definitely be back
First time here and I absolutely love this place. It's a nice little restaurant that you could miss if you're not looking for it. The customer service is unmatched!! The ladies are all wonderful. There was a mushroom in my corned beef hash which was a bummer. And there were a couple of flies that insisted on eating with me. However, the food was good. My pancakes were nice and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the rim (iykyk). I will definitely become a regular here ❤️
Great Bridge Virginia has a most unique and quiet little bistro/ diner / restaurant for those looking for a wonderful breakfast . I know a lot of locals and visitors alike come down to the locks to watch the sailboats come and go . Now if you want to start that or finish that experience with a very hardy and delicious breakfast with some of the best Filipino sausage or , buckwheat pancakes , then the sunrise breakfast Cafe is your best deal , hands down . The staff are some of the finest and , the food is well , perfect , every time . They have a really good menu. The prices are perfect for any family or , if you dine alone you will find a quaint table for one or two . Music is playing so you can here it but , not too loud. The owners are very nice and , don't mind talking with people when you come in . If your in a hurry on a Saturday morning, you might want to show up early, sometimes you have a bit of waiting. But , well worth it .
This is a great place to get a quick, filling breakfast. We happened upon it on a Saturday morning. It is small but with a big taste. We ordered the Phillipino breakfast with the sweet sausage. My husband and I were full when we finished.
The fried rice was fresh and not too greasy. It was great with the eggs. The sweet sausage was fantastic. I've never had it before, but I'll definitely order that again. I don't know if they make their own sausage or not, but it didn't look store bought. We were both happy with the atmosphere and the food.
5 stars and a thumb up!
