This place is our new favorite donut shop... our favorite ever! It is like Duck Donuts on steroids + the heart and soul of an independently owned business. It's a coffee bar, donut shop, candy store, gelateria and party place all wrapped in one! My kids and I were so sweetly given a demo on how the gelato is MADE TO ORDER with … nitrogen! And, with some of the ingredients sourced from Italy. There is so much attention to detail and a lot of LOVE in this place. THIS is the real deal.

So, today I decided to drive around and see what was in my local area. I happened upon this small business. I was curious. I went in and asked a few questions. Only 2 locations here in Virginia. The owner has been making donuts since she was a teenager. But, what blew me away. They make them right in your face and you can pick any of the 9000 combinations that you want. I kept it simple. Stop in and support the small business owners. Gourmet donuts. So many choices, so little time. Call for hours. Take a group. They can do small or large amounts, they even do weddings. Yum! Great place to bring the children. They also have frozen custard. Coffee/Tea. Various beverages. They even have bacon. Just throwing it out there. So, you pick your icing, your topping, your drizzle You are the artist. Your only limit is your imagination. No more getting what someone wants you to have. Do it your way! The donuts are the best I've ever had. We are visiting from out of town and my mother in law suggested it. The girls there were friendly and like I said the donuts were to die for!. We will be here all week and we're going back!!
Came in today to pick up a gift certificate and the woman in front of me in line was absolutely and thoroughly rude the entire time she was trying to make a ridiculous order of speciality drinks meant to be consumed at Starbucks, not a donut shop, and certainly not with the poor attitude she possessed. The young woman behind the counter, Alexis, was beyond professional in dealing with such abhorrent behavior from an adult. She was somehow able to stay pleasant and incredibly polite, I was completely floored!!! Seriously give that woman a raise and a freaking trophy! All of the ladies working around 3:30pm today had to deal with such rude demands from the customer and they all handled it with grace! You guys have always had fantastic food and service to match, I love stopping in! Your employees are awesome!
These are the best donuts I have ever had. The best way to eat one is hot! OMG!!! The lemon is my favorite so far. :)

Incredible place! Donuts are always fresh and delicious and they are always so amazingly friendly to my toddlers! The gelato, custard and donut sundaes are phenomenal!!! I have taken my kids to lots of places and this is by far their #1 request!
Their maple glazed bacon donut and coffee is on point...one of my favorite places to eat.

Just wanted to take a minute to let the owners know what a gem of an employee they have in Angel. I bought 2 dozen donuts yesterday for a family gathering. I had never been in before, and Angel took the time to explain how everything worked. I had some questions, and was quite indecisive on what I wanted, but he remained polite, patient, and informative. It can be hard to find good help these days, but I think you can rest assured you have a fantastic employee in Angel. Oh, and everyone loved the donuts! :)

Sooo good! We went to Amazing Glazed thinking it was a regular doughnut shop, but it is so much better. We had a blast picking out all kinds of amazing different flavors and the kids absolutely loved that there were step stools to stand on so they could watch our doughnuts being made. The doughnuts are light and delicious and that maple bacon one was a favorite. Super cool place and we will definitely be returning.
Authentic local donut and sweets shop. They also have fresh Gelato and various other sweet items. They were super friendly and it was very satisfying to watch the donuts being made fresh to order. I highly recommend you try this place out. You will not be disappointed. I recommend the Samoa donut. Tastes just like the cookie!

Staff was very kind! Donuts were so good we forgot to take a pic. Highly recommend making a stop to get some goodies here. They have a full expresso bar and lots of candy as well!!
My hometown favorite!! I stopped frequently when I lived there and now that I have moved hours away, I stop by every time I come back to Chesapeake. I don't think there is a single flavor combo you could come up with that isn't out of this world! My favorite is cream cheese with bacon and caramel drizzle. Man, just thinking about them makes me want to make the 3-hour drive up! Seriously hands down my favorite local place!
UPDATE: It has now been about 2.5 years going here and it is still excellent. This is a small business and with the way the last year went be sure to support local entrepreneurs!
ORIGINAL: I have been going here for 3 months now and have loved it every time. The donuts are amazing, as the name implies, and the ability to customize your own personal donut or select from their menu is unique to the Chesapeake area. They recently updated their shop to include an outdoor area, birthday party room, coffee shop section and ice cream. Highly recommend this place for a great donut or coffee. Enjoy everyone!
