I have been looking for a excellent pizza place since moving down from MD. I tried many from Elizabeth City to Chesapeake, and I am sorry that I didn’t try this place sooner. Their NY style pizza is excellent, on par with Pete’s pizza in DC.
Stopped and picked up a NY style pie for dinner last night. It was so good and just what I’ve been looking for since leaving Oklahoma years ago. I thought I found it with another pizza place but this one beats it! I’ll definitely make the drive from Currituck to pick up pizza from here!

Marty had meat Stromboli which looked so good - lots of fresh garlic and Parmesan on top. He said it was delicious. I had a cheese steak which was seasoned really well. Plenty of meat and cheese. Oh by the way we started with garlic knots that had tons of fresh garlic and olive oil that I could have had for my meal. Prices were very reasonable. Can’t wait to try their pizza. Service was good too
Awesome Restaurant! Everything we've had so far is delicious...the garlic knots, the pizza, the lasagna ! I never have liked spaghetti from a restaurant but this is great! Finally a decent place to eat in this area. So glad we found you guys!!

No one else delivers out to us so we are SO thrilled for a good pizza place in hickory! We ordered a half cheese half mushroom pizza tonight and it was excellent! Garlic knots were great too! We will be back for sure ��
LOVE this place! Great food and friendly staff! :) The garlic knots are a delicious starter. We've tried the salads, pizzas, sandwiches and calzones. All are delicious. I love dining out at this place and looking at all of the family pics on the wall. It gives it such a warm and at-home feel. The owners and servers always engage with us and our little girl. We really appreciate that.
Absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious, and all of the staff was great! We were there celebrating my Father in Laws birthday, and had a perfect experience! The Calzone was FANTASTIC, I highly recommend it!
I fell in love with this place tonight! The pizza is amazing, the owners are friendly and give great sevice and the atmosphere is homey! Thanks Baba's! I will be back!

We ate there last night and everything was delish, we were greeted right away and the waitress was very nice and kept checking on us..we had the garlic knots which were great..we ordered a large pizza for the 3 of us ..we had leftovers for the next day..keep up the great service.
This place is GOOD and their garlic knots are life. Best pizza I've had so far in Virginia.
The white pizza is awesome! The salad was fresh and is a generous serving. The owner is an excellent cook and the waitress was very polite and attentive. We will return....with our friends!
Excellent food. Great for quick lunch or family dinner. Also ordered catering and everyone was extremely pleased.

WOW BAM POW!! Freaking some of the best damn crust I’ve had in all of Virginia. I’ve only eaten 2 other pizzas that I enjoyed this much in my life. 1 in brought from New York and one in Pennsylvania. And the sauce is 1 million flavors rich! Not to mention on top they cooked it exactly how I asked!
Family favorite, we especially enjoy that they are one of the only restaurants that deliver out to rural hickory (please check your location with them before I promise to much) never had a bad thing on the menu.
As close to NY as you will find around here. Crispy chewy crust, perfectly seasoned sauce, just the right amount of cheese, and generous toppings. My new pizza place.
The food was tasty and beautifully served. The servers and the cooking staff are very friendly. I liked the family oriented atmosphere. I plan on coming back and next time bringing my husband.
Is by far the best place for pizza in Chesapeake Great Bridge area, have eaten here well over 50 times. Did not realize I did not leave a review yet. They are our absolute favorite!!!

I'm really trying to be more selective with my 5 stars but gosh darn it, I couldn't find a single reason not to.
A Saturday night found us feeling lazy and wanting something new. While we have dined at Baba's many times I went with the supremo calzone and a house salad. I normally order the supremo pizza steak (PHENOMENAL) but I wasn't in the mood for it. A call for take out brought a little hiccup; their system was down and it was a cash only night. Could have been an issue most every other day (we rarely carry cash) but the man was already out and quickly swung by the bank for cash.
My calzone was chock full of meats, cheese and veggies and while it was delicious, the real winners on my plate was the house salad (lots of mushrooms, onions, olives and cheese). Typically a house salad has one veggie each but that was not the case here. I chose a creamy Italian. It was not only creamy but so good I could have had it as a drink!
Now, the cheese garlic knots were the belle of the ball. I ordered them for the man and had no intention of eating one but they just looked irresistible (who am I to argue) so when I bit into one and that cheesy skirt crunched, I thought, wow. This is how the gods dine. So much garlic, so much cheese! It really would have been understandable if the bread was slightly undercooked with all that cheese but it was perfectly baked and simply divine. The man left me one for a snack and 3 hours after dining I devoured the other one. And you know what, that cheesr skirt was still crunchy and perfection.
Next time I'm going with the house salad and cheesy garlic knots!!!
