Love this spot!! Best soulfood I've found in Norfolk thus far! The baked chicken wings are soooooooo good!!!! I've been twice and the taste of the food is consistent (even when busy) and they definitely give you your money's worth! Wait wasn't bad, and definitely worth it! I live on the other side of town, but will be back again, and will be sending my folks to patronize them for sure!!

Found this baby on Yelp. Working in the area for a 6 weeks and this place is only a couple of miles down the road. Smothered pork chops, Mac & cheese and cabbage. Aahhhhh! Unbelievable! Great portions, great prices and great taste! Going to get there often for the next few weeks!

The portions are great and the food is seasoned perfectly. The food is well worth the price, which is not high. The staff is funny too.

Some da Eat, in my opinion is the best soul food carry out restaurant in Norfolk. Coming up on its one year anniversary Ive heard nothing but the best things about the food they serve. Ive heard several say that they drives miles for their food and its well worth the drive. Come for yourself when you are hungry and want some da eat.

What a wonderful find. This place has the best mac and cheese on earth. Everything we ordered was delicious and the gentleman at the front was very helpful in explaining the menu and answering questions. Delicious soul food and great service. Highly recommend.

Great customer service! The owner and staff are phenomenal. I ordered fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and potato salad. At first glance my chicken looked "well well done" but it was actually cooked just right. I had some extra crispy parts on it, but overall, still good. My only complsico is that my chicken wasn't seasoned. But overall, the food was made freshly and customer service is awesome. I would recommend.

Some Da Eat is my favorite soul food restaurant in the Hampton Roads! I have to eat here at least once a month to fulfill my craving. I also take my family here when they come to visit from MD and they love it just as much as I do. The food taste amazing and you can’t beat their prices! The only downfall is that it’s hard to call ahead with your order because they’re always extremely busy.

Got the fried pork chop dinner which included 2 bone in chops, and choice of 2 sides and choice of bread. They forgot my cornbread but the pork chops were good.

Whew. My friend ordered ribs and they must’ve been cooking them in the back. It’s been over 30 mins. Other than that
