My wife and I were celebrating her birthday and Valentines day dinner for the first time since the pandemic started. We made reservations a week before and arrived 15 minutes early. We were seated right away by a hostess. We informed our server we were not in a rush so please take your time. Everything was fantastic from the drinks to the appetizer, the salad and then dinner. Our server Shane was awesome. We were there about two hours, asked for our tab. As we were paying the tab and leaving a nice tip a manager came over and asked us to leave so they could seat other guests. We were appalled. Never, ever been asked to leave a restaurant. As we voiced our complaint another manager appeared and asked us to leave. Apparently we have have overstayed our time which no one ever stated to us. We will never return even though this is one of our favorite places

Never have I been let down by this class act of an establishment. Service is impeccable. Cuisine is off the charts. Staff members are top notch. If I could give it six stars, I would! Bravo, Stoney River, bravo!

If I could give this restaurant ZERO STARS for the way we were treated,, I would!!! My husband and I have been dining here for years! He takes me here every year for my birthday which just so happens to be on Valentine's Day as well.
We ate here this past Saturday, Feb 13th, which was the day before Valentine's Day. As we were paying our bill and getting ready to leave, a female manager came up to us and told us that we needed to leave because she had people waiting on our table. My husband and I were flabbergasted! We asked her, so you're asking us to leave? And she said I'm not trying to ask you to leave I just need you to leave because there are people waiting on your table. I said, So then you're asking us to leave? Our waiter came over to take his tip and I asked for another manager. This time a male manager came over to our table. I told him exactly what she had said, which was more than I'm describing in this review right now, and he backed her up. Yes, we are asking you to leave because we have people waiting on your table. We said we have spent over $200 in the 2 hours that we have been here. That's $100 an hour, and you are asking someone who spends that kind of money at your restaurant to leave? Yes, he said. My husband and I were infuriated. We left without arguing but let him know that we were very dissatisfied and how we were being treated. The next day, we had a phone call from the same manager who was apologizing for the other manager's behavior and he told us that she was not trained to deal with people the way she did with us and should have never asked us to leave. I said to him, yet when I called you over and told you how we were treated, you backed her up and told us that was your policy to ask us to leave after 2 hours. And now you're telling me it's not your policy and that she shouldn't have asked us to leave. I think he was trying to save his skin because they knew we would be taking this up with corporate, and also writing reviews. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant in my entire life. My husband and I rarely go out and haven't been out since the pandemic. We told our waiter from the beginning that we intended to stay a long time as we did not have our children for the whole night and it was our first time out in a very long while and we wanted to take our time. At no point in this conversation was a 2-hour limit mentioned. I think it's really rude and unacceptable to ask your patrons to leave. We were getting ready to leave anyway but how does he know we were not about to spend more money and his establishment. In fact, they didn't even know we had just paid the bill when they came over to tell us to leave. Needless to say, we will never dine here, again.

First and foremost I will say that this is not about the food. This rating pertains only to the service and experience. We had 7:00 reservations and received multiple texts from their automated service welcoming us and expecting us. We get there at 6:50 and they cannot seat us yet. This is fine because we are early. We cannot sit at the bar because they are running so late it is filled to capacity by other people waiting. So they ask us to wait in our cars??? 40 minutes later we have no table yet. They were running so far behind but they can’t text or notify me with an update using their service that sent me a total of 4 other texts after making the reservation. And then after 40 minutes we were informed there was only one couple ahead of us. As he says that they come and retrieve another couple who is waiting and so I reply that we must be next. He then says we’ll NOW there is only one group ahead of us. Which is it?
Needless to say they need to work on the service part. That’s the only lower reviews you’ll find here...service related it seems. Our group of 4 ended up going to very nice place a few minutes away who accommodated us immediately.

I went for my husband's birthday. The ambiance is very romantic. The tables are lit by candlelight. The music is nice and not overbearing. I order the Ahi tuna it was to die for. Well flavored and tender. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. I will most definitely recommend going.

Great food, reasonable prices for a nicer dinner. Crab cake and steak rolls are fav appetizers! Strip steak was cooked perfectly. Lobster bisque amazing too. Really good service. Highly recommend

Having been in the service industry for 16 years it’s hard to even begin how I felt leaving this place. The food was mediocre at best. But the service. My lord!! We had been traveling all day, been in the car. So obviously we were not exactly dressed up. This place was in the same parking lot as our hotel so we decided to just go there instead of looking for something else. The service, I can not get over. The bartender did not try to strike a conversation, never asked how our meals were, did not deliver rolls, etc. the list could go on. I guess unless you are dolled up you will not get good service. I still tipped well, to hopefully show the bartender that some times you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. 🤷🏽♀️ This will not be the first place I’d recommend.

For the atmosphere, wish we weren't out of place dressing up a little nicer. Food was good, but definitely wear something casual.

Actually was headed to Annie Gunn’s for what I read was a great burger. The place was so crowded for a Tuesday night that we found ourselves at Stoney River. I haven’t seen anyone else mention their burgers so I thought I would! The Stacked Burger was insanely good. Two smashed patties of juicy beef, a good amount of luscious cheese and onions and pickles. Perfection! The fries were awesome too, thin cut, crunchy and hot and seasoned perfectly. Ate at the bar. Service was great, atmosphere was pleasant, lighting glowy and warm. My Moscow mule was divine. We will totally go back!

One of the best. Excellent food. Coffee steak is unique and delicous. Generous portion sizes. Delicious deserts. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. It is expensive. But you get what you pay for.

What did you say????. Very good steak & Prime Rib. Stick with the standards. Adequate wine list & innovative cocktail list. Service at the 15% level, late side, forgot Special's until reminded. Primarily booths, albeit large ones. NOTE: this is a very high volume venue, booth's require above average voice volume due to one's distance from their friends.

Great meal. First time at Stoney River. Food was uniformly excellent. Try the blue-cheese chips. 12 oz. filet mignon (note they split it in two so the outside doesn't get overcooked when medium or more) was excellent. Salmon was great too. Ribs were fine, but for the amount they charge, one would expect a rack, not a sub-half-rack. Wines are reasonably priced, a selection like what we get for home. Service was slow, but reasonably attentive. We'd definitely go again, although given the pricing, probably mostly for special occasions.

Bought gift certificate with $25 bonus<br/>And found out later the bonus was just about worthless with a short date. Bad deal.

Love the Coffee Cured Filet. My wife and I go here from time to time. I really like the coffee cured filet. Great good and service. Love the new wine selections. They have the best chocolate martini!

Great food, excellent service, fantastic marrini's & love the atmosphere. 2 thumbs up! I had the 7 oz coffee cured steak plain ( it doesn't need a topping ), with asparagus & green beans. My only criticism would be that the green beans were barely cooked and were hard & crunchy. Definitely not al dente. But, they were fresh so I didn't complain. Their Cosmo was delicious. We had a call ahead seating for 7:45 pm on a Saturday night & when we arrived at 7:00 pm we were seated right away! We will be back.

Great Steaks. The coffe infused filet is one of the best I've ever tasted.

Celebrated a special occasion there recently. Service was right amount of attentive. Decor was nice. Food was amazing and portion size was good. Highly recommend lobster bisque. Overall a great evening. They knew it was a special occasion and brought us out a nice dessert on the house! These things all on top of wonderful aged steak cooked to desired doneness made for an amazing evening. Money saving tip: join their club on their website for great deals!

Yummy steaks and very attentive service!. My mother raves about this place so we finally decided to go. We went early on a Saturday evening to avoid the crowd. The lodge atmosphere might scream Longhorn's Older Sister but the staff is all top notch. The hostess asked if we were celebrating anything. My husband dropped that our anniversary had been earlier that week. More on this later. They had a fairly decent wine and beer list and we ordered the blue cheese potato chips as a starter along with our cocktails. What arrived was a MOUNTAIN of kettle-type chips drizzled with melted blue cheese. I will have to do another lap around the park - YUM! For our entrees, I had a small filet with steamed broccoli and my husband ordered the prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes (can't have too many spuds he says). Everything was fabulous. My steak was cookied perfectly and not overseasoned. So many steakhouses nowadays ruin perfectly good meat with their "secret seasonings". Our server was attentive throughout and even kept us updated on the Cardinals' score. The owner came over during our meal and congratulated us on our anniversary and gave us a gift card for another vist. Very charming. And then came the complimentary chocolate cake to finish. Another YUM! A very positive dining experience. Perfect from start to finish. And not to pricey considering the quality of the meal and service.

I have had $80 dry aged steak in Vegas. I have had spectacular steak in NYC. But consistently, Stoney River has THE best steak I have ever had. Great price, great food. I suggest the coffee cured filet mignon, medium rare. Also, the caramelized onion mashed potatoes are delicious.

Good place, just zero wow factor. For the price there are much better places to drop your cash.

Consistently Good. Been here at least 15 times and always good ... Never disappointed. If you are not a steak eater, salmon is good but not the grouper. Highly recommend the Lodge filet with bernaise sauce on the side. Service is also consistently good.

Great onion soup! Wonderful steaks! Yummy desserts!

Try the lodge filet or the center cut sirloin, both were excellent. Lobster bisque was also quite good. Nice intimate atmosphere, had a wonderful time. The wine is way overpriced however.
