The wait may be an hour, but it is worth it! I went with a group of 5 for brunch and we all loved our meals. I got the shakshuka and it was a perfect size with unbelievable flavors. The great thing, though, is you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Such a great spot. Lula is somewhere I can't wait to bring people when they visit!

Lula is such an amazing place! The ingredients are good, super fresh and the dishes are so unique. I love how everything is creative even when it’s a classic dish. We had the flank steak brioche breakfast sandwich and the tofu scramble, 5 spices pumpkin bread and kale salad. Everything was very tasty! The portion of the flank steak was pretty small. I felt it could have had a bigger/more filling side for $24 but it was rich. My biggest complaint is the service charge. I don’t mind paying it but if you are making people pay 20% then just include the cost of labor in the menu items and don’t throw on an extra 20%. It feels less transparent than adding a few dollars to each item. No tipping restaurants are great and I think Lula could benefit from this model.

Sometimes places are over-hyped. Lula is not one of those. The meals are well balanced, just right, and everything you want. I will be dreaming of this breakfast burrito for a while, crispy tortilla with cheesy eggs inside. The side sauces are incredible. French omelette was creamy and side salad was very fresh. The trout scramble was also insanely delicious. Not a crumb was left behind! Wait was 1.5hrs on Sat morning for a table of 5 at 10am. Wait on a Monday (holiday) at 9:30 for a table of 4 was 30min. They bring a super cute postcard with the check. Hostess was friendly and helpful, all staff was very attentive. They kept the coffee flowing and the food came very quickly.

I had a wonderful brunch experience at Lula Cafe. The cozy ambiance and attentive staff created a welcoming atmosphere. Although the PASTA ‘YIAYIA’ was a bit dry, the overall meal was satisfying. I appreciated the emphasis on locally sourced ingredients throughout the menu. I look forward to revisiting soon for another delightful experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Incredible food, presentation, and portions. Super cool, friendly, and chill staff. Cute, warm, homey atmosphere. Great vibe. The cocktails? Superb. The baked French feta? Crazy. The CHICKEN? Insane. The PECORINO CAKE?? DUMMY. This is the spot to take your friends when they visit Chicago and you wanna show off how cool you are and how great your taste is. This is the spot you book for dinner to celebrate your one year with that special someone. This is the place that puts out banger after banger consistently and will never let you down.

Nice and busy location. May have a wait, so don’t expect to just arrive and be seated, have patience. I only had the pancakes, which were delicious and light. You get a nice amount for the cost. Service was quick, so you won’t get a lot of “personality”, but that was fine. Cute, little spot. Parking options are street with meters.

Fantastic gem of a place that stands out in spite of all the other amazing spots in the Logan square area. The restaurant has a very cute ambiance and decor. Food and drinks were extraordinary. Very attentive service as well. We had to wait for over an hour for a Sunday brunch but our experience exceeded expectations.

Really enjoyed brunch at the bar here. It was super crowded Saturday morning, but got two seats at the bar and enjoyed ourselves. The service was really great and the space is lovely. All of our food was pretty solid as well. Just wish it was easier to get a table by getting on a virtual list or something. For drinks, we got the kedai kolada which has some pandan in it. Very tasty and sweet drink. Sweet corn and ricotta omelette was delicious and creamy. The chickpea and fennel tagine was also delicious and hearty, exactly what I was looking for on a cold fall morning. The blueberry french toast was tasty, but not exactly what we were looking for. It was not battered and grilled like a typical French toast but was more like a big milk bread/texas toast that was maybe toasted and then topped with blueberry compote/jam and crème fraiche. It wasn’t bad! But my definition of “French toast” is a bit different maybe?

Cooking is delicate & well done. Friendly & attentive service. Large dining room & nice patio, gets very busy on weekends. 👍 paparadelli: al dente noodles, just the right amount of cheesy goodness 👍 chickpea frites: crispy outside, creamy inside 👍 “Royale” sando: balanced but small, served w/ sweet & sour slaw 👍 carrot cake: delicate & restrained, doesn't leave you feeling heavy or guilty

We really loved the place! The food was so tasty and the combination of flavours was spot on. While we were full, we had to have dessert which didn’t disappoint! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will come next time we are in town.
