I had a wonderful experience having dinner at the bar tonight! The dining room was full, but thankfully Jhony made me feel at home!! The cocktails were amazing, but the service was even better! Highly recommend the pear salad, the meatballs, and the broth pasta-agnolotti!
Chris and team were awesome. Delicious. I asked for fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli. It was not on the menu and they accommodated. Mia Francesca’s is my favorite restaurant. We celebrated my birthday. I loved it!
Had a very good caesar salad and spaghetti carbonara. And the chocolate cake, almost forgot, delicious! On a weeknight there's usually a table available if you are walking in for just two people, but you'd probably need a reservation any other night.
dropping in spontaneously, and it was one of the best spontaneous dining experiences i’ve ever had. the atmosphere was wonderful, and our server was so attentive and gave such good recommendations. we got the sauteed calamari, spaghetti carbonara, and gelato (banana fudge & mint chocolate chip). the food was so delicious, and i will definitely be coming back for the sauteed calamari.
One of the more authentic Italian restaurants in Chicago. Delicious! Alfonso was our waiter and he made my sisters birthday dinner memorable.
This is a great restaurant, some of the best Italian I have had in Chicago! It has a fun classic atmosphere and great drinks! I really enjoyed the short rib pasta! Wonderful service as well, Ethan was great and went above and beyond for me and my date! Very attentive without being intrusive and he had a sixth sense for knowing when I needed a refill on my glass of wine! I really love this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants a great Italian meal in Chicago!
Chris was our wonderful server. He was very friendly and helped with our menu selections. Great time and great food!
We’ll look for Chris next visit.
Hands down, the best Italian meal of my life! Simply incredible. Such depth of flavour. Brilliant staff, buzzy atmosphere. An absolute Chicago gem. A must do every time I am in Chicago from now on.
Hubby and I stopped in here after a cubs game and were glad we did. I was craving Italian food and this definitely hit the spot. We didn’t have a reservation, but it was early dinner so the place was not full yet and we asked to sit in the outdoor area.
The bread was warm and delicious. It had a beautiful crust that crunched perfectly. It had great texture and was delicious with the olive oil. For our appetizer we shared the lentil dish which was warm and had a wonderful delicate flavor. If you like lentils then this dish is for you. I had the mushroom ravioli which was creamy and delicious. My husband had the rigatoni and that red sauce was perfectly Italian. Tasty and warm. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, which isn’t made in house, but wherever it comes from it’s delicious. The lady fingers are perfectly soaked and the mascarpone cream was perfectly flavored. It’s a shame we found this place on our second to last day in Chicago because I definitely want to visit again.
The open patio was very pleasant and romantic, but as we walked through the restaurant to exit the building we noticed it was very loud and the bar had tv’s as any sports bar would; I’m a little confused about that setup, but that would not deter me from visiting if ever in Chicago again. I highly recommend this place if you like Italian food.
Unbelievable atmosphere, service, & exceptional food to die for. I had the fettuccine nonna and the short rib in was phenomenal
