First time I have ever had a deep dish and I loved it. The family not so much. They thought the crust was weird. I enjoyed it and have no problem going back. Place was neat and clean and service was friendly.
Stopped by for lunch as soon as I arrived in Chicago for the first time. The place came highly recommended as a wonderful spot to try the city's infamous deep dish pizza and I was not disappointed at all. Everything we tried was wonderful! Highly recommend their chicken Alfredo as well.
Toppings are fresh. The crust is very good. We had two classic deep dish with a few added toppings and the vegetarian deep dish.
A small but very nice restaurant. We had their deep dish and The Malnati Chicago classic. Their deep dish was very delicious; the sauce was tangy and everything just tasted fresh. We also had the Chicken Louie and I don't know if that was meant for one person only but it was a lot! That one was also really good. Other than the food, the staff were also very nice. We had 2 infants with us and they were very accommodating and made sure we were properly set-up. Overall just a wonderful restaurant!
We loved the pizza! First time being at the actual restaurant! My wife isn't a fan of deep dish, and she loved it!
Hands down best deep dish in Chicago. Atmosphere was great, the staff was all super friendly and accommodating. The wait was long ish but they take your order and start your deep dish so by the time you sit down it is pretty quick. And they give samples while you wait!! 10/10
Good potions! We got 2 small deep dishes and split between 4 people and we all left very full and with leftovers
Tasty food all round. The malnati salad is delicious, the sweet vinaigrette goes really well with all the savory parts of the salad like the salami, cheese, and olives. The deep dish was good, the crust was very tasty and I could eat it on its own. The cookie skillet was a nice way to settle the stomach after the heavy deep dish. The serving staff could have been better, their attitude was poor and it was clear they did not want to be there which is why I am giving it 4/5
I don’t think I’ve ever had such a delicious pizza in my entire life. Definitely worth the 30 mins wait! I am vegetarian and I ordered a Lou’s pizza and honestly, best veggie pizza I’ve ever had (and I know how difficult it is to make a good veggie pizza)! Also, stick to the recommended portions size. After our server said that the personal pizza is only 6 inches I decided to order a small (9 inches) pizza and it was a mistake… I only had 2 slices and I was full. Portions are huge!! I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.
Taste of True Chicago Deep Dish Experience in a nice restaurant dining experience. Stopped by this location. Friendly staff. Orders are prepared fresh and took 30 mins for personal pizzas. Well worth the wait. We had their meat and veggie and both were awesome. The host said they has many locations.. but I would like to keep coming back to the same one.
Lou malnati's chicago deep dish is on of the best pizza in town~ Full of cheese inside the pizza~ highly recommend if you love a lot of cheese with you pizza ~
My favorite deep dish pizza I’ve had so far. “The Lou” (ask to add pepperoni) with The Malnati salad was a great pairing. Delicious and fresh food and the pizza crust was perfection!
I had Halle for my server and she was great! The food was delicious nothing better than amazingly cooked cheesy bread. I also had the Lou veggie deep dish pizza and the crust was buttery smooth and crispy and fluffy and not soggy all at the same time. Great time
I met my daughter's boyfriend from England for the first time today. We had dinner, deep dish pizza, at Lou Malnati's. Her boyfriend really enjoyed the food, which was his first real Chicago deep dish pizza ever. The service was great!

First time in Chicago. Had to try the deep dish pizza 🍕. Amazing. Great wings bruschetta.
We tried our first Chicago Deep Dish pizza here. The 'Malnati Classic' which is sausage and cheese takes around 40 minutes to be prepared.
The pizza was nice but we had better elsewhere - there was a lack of cheese beneath the tomato topping (which also was a little liquidy.
Service was good and prompt. Not the greatest toilets.
We had a family reunion with 26 people from age 2 to 75. The food was as expected—Chicago deep dish pizza—to perfection. The garden salad was a minor highlight which was a pleasant surprise. Molly was our server and attended to everyone’s needs. Which can be difficult with teenagers. It was a great meal and a great time with just a friendly atmosphere. Wished I lived closer as I am craving some pizza today. Great place
What a great food experience, pasta 🍝, pizza 🍕 and dessert 🍮. The pasta was delicious and not watery at the bottom of the plate. The pizza was definitely Chicago deep dish original and deliciously mouth watering. The tiramisu was spot on. The service was good too. Definitely recommend this place, whether you are a tourist or resident of Chicago.
Awesome deep dish pizza! Come hungry, but be prepared to wait! We came as a party of 4, arrived around 7 or so and wait time was right about an hour! They’ll use you phone to let you know when it’s time. So be prepared to take a walk or go to one of the many nearby establishments for some liquid refreshment! So now onto the pizza...the salads are plenty big for 4 people to share! The spinach stuffed bread was really good too - cheesy, soft dough and spinach that comes out warm and with delicious marinara sauce! We did a deep dish with sausage and pepperoni- YUMMMM! A large was LARGE, and we could each only have one piece! Thankfully we can take the rest home and savor it again, this time without the hour wait!
