The restaurant was very busy so I can forgive that it wasn’t clean enough to eat off every surface. Staff were fine and food was fine. Prices reflected the food quality and everything was good. 4 stars! The breakfast food was of higher quality than most diners.

Wonderful selections food and drink wise. I was truly delighted to find that they had Oatmilk for my much needed Latte! The Red Velvet French Toast was THE BEST I've ever had and the service was great as well!

Excellent brunch, went for the scramble with chorizo and avocado, which also comes with potatoes and pancakes on the side. More food then was strictly necessary but I dutifully ate most of it! Great service too. The place maybe lacks a bit of ambiance, but the food and service justify the stars.

Quick review because it was definitely straight forward and was a great quick bite. Me and my friend caught up with tea while munching on a delicious breakfast. Friendly staff !

The waiting times for indoor seating were 1 hr, so we ended up sitting outside instead. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. Keep in mind that the Westcoast crepes are sweet with savory filling. It is stated that way on the menu as well, but you should still be prepared for it. I personally liked it. The allstars combo is quite good, but if you're very hungry you should get something on the side. The seasonal horchata cold brew is pretty good.

This breakfast spot offers a few unique items like breakfast mac n cheese and loaded potato pancakes. The service was excellent, as well as the food.

Best breakfast ever!!! The lemon drizzle blueberry pancakes were amazing!!! The first bite took me to a new dimension... Thank you, Logan, for such amazing customer service. The vibes at the restaurant were very friendly. Very efficient communication with food preparation, putting them on the trays, and calling out for them to be picked up. Also, the eating areas are cleaned as quickly as one can blink once a patron leaves.

Very busy location. Service was great and our waitress was very honest and helpful with suggestions. Potatoes were not seasoned well so I needed to add salt and pepper but otherwise food was good.

Don't get the grits. Sure, being from Charleston I'm expecting maybe too much but they lacked all texture, flavor, and heart. The blueberry and lemon pancakes had great flavor but they were too dense and were overcooked. The lattes (french toast and chocolate peanut butter) were delicious and probably the highlight. The breakfast burrito had good flavor and was very filling. However the chorizo was very greasy and was dripping over everything. I'd suggest checking out wildberry pancakes before this place.

We were in Chicago for a friends bday and stopped here for brunch. Location: it's located right next to the river, we walked from our hotel and it only took 7-8 minutes. Parking: I'm not sure because we walked. Service: Our server was phenomenal! She was so kind and just the right amount of attention. She even brought the bday girl a Nutella crepe. We didn't make reservations so we waited 30 minutes for a seat. Ambience/Crowd: Family oriented; very casual Food/drink : 10/10 we had the burrito with chorizo and the countryside skillet. Everything was great but that hot sauce?! Omg so good!! Will I be back? Yes! The service and food were top notch. Side note: they don't serve alcohol BUT it's BYOB!!

The family and I went here for breakfast, a decent wait, but the food was well worth it! the hot sauce is good on anything! I had the breakfast mac, and it was the perfect amount of food, and flavor! (with an americano)

Saturday brunch go-to! Obviously expect a wait, 10-15 min this time, but definitely worth it when the meal come. Quality ingredients, cooked to perfection.

Wishing we had a Yolk in our hometown! Chrissy provided fast and proactive service. :) The food options are all amazing and offered a good variety to choose from. I had the Waffle Benny (yummm). Service and food were both perfect and exceeded our expectations!! Highly recommend.

First of all the staff is amazing. I sat at the counter and could see the whole kitchen, the staff, everyone. They clearly enjoy each other and, while food service is a grind, they had an incredibly positive energy. The food was very good, abundant, and exactly what I wanted (the coffee is weak, however). Desiring a diner atmosphere? This is the place to go 💯

We stopped by Yolk for breakfast and had a great time. Even though the place was totally packed (and a bit noisy) and the servers were incredibly busy, the food more than made up for it. We had thankfully put our name down on the virtual waitlist and didn't have to wait more than a few minutes for our table. We ordered the seasonal Citrus Pancakes, which were soft, fluffy and delicious! We also loved the savory Loaded Baked Potato Cakes, which were prepared really well. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it!

I loved it, simple and good. Here they know how to cook eggs so well, I love them runny and they nailed it. Very nice staff too.

Wow big improvement in service and food quality. Whatever changed keep doing it. Croquet Madam and Hello Ricky were excellent!! Only break fast place where staff seems happy. Maybe it nice patio seating with a cover. Ordered a decaf drip iced coffee without causing server to panic. They call it “Cup of Zoe”. We will return as regulars!!

I enjoyed my visit at yolk. I came for the breakfast and had a great meal. The wait was lengthy due to the time of day and its location near Main hotels. Despite the wait we were able to get seated within an hour. Service was great and our food came out relatively quickly. I had the all star breakfast and my friend have the country skillet. Both of our meals were good and we enjoyed them. The only thing I wasn’t too big of a fan of was the pancakes. They were just OK to me. The hot sauce and a habanero sauce were good, I mixed both of them and used it for my eggs and meat. Service was good, and our server attended to us as well. As evidenced by the quick turnaround for tables, staff had a routine and place in order to get tables cleared, clean and people out. We didn’t feel rushed and that was what made the big difference. The only reason I’m giving a four-star is because I personally did not enjoy the pancakes. The restaurant was lively, but peaceful at the same time. I will definitely be returning to this location during my next visit.
