Tried the shrimp salad, the hanger steak and the chocolate pudding cake. This meal was an unbelievable value for the service and food options. I would definitely be coming back given how close it is to my work in the West Loop.
Small sizes and a non-set menu made this really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive. Drinks came rather quickly. It’s. It very big, which was a very nice feel. They have this weird painting on the wall that gave me demonic vibes but that didn’t affect the food 😉
The prie fixe lunch menu at Blackbird is a phenomenal value at 25 per person pre tip and tax. The service is also excellent, even if you are only going for lunch.
