Ramen-san - Chicago - Photo album

We really enjoyed our lunch at Ramen-San. I am always a bit skeptical of ramen, as all too often it is more salt than depth of flavor and saw reviews to that effect, but if you order right that is not an issue. We started with the shrimp and pork dumplings. The filling was nice, but the dumpling wr
The best Ramen we’ve ever had!! The food is unbelievable delicious and the atmosphere was matching the food. The service was okay. The drinks were a little bit pricey and there was definitely too much ice in the drinks. But besides that, we would definitely recommend!!
90s hip-hop, fun atmosphere, delicious food and good drinks... What more can you ask for? The roasted edamame was so simple yet so delightful. The pork belly buns were juicy and the perfect compliment to the ramen.
Absolutely delicious and flavorful ramen. The portions are great. The pork belly bun was a tasty starter. The sumo bowl is great for the starving, I almost couldn’t finish it. The service was great and the food came out fast.
The only ramen bar in downtown Chicago, this up-and-coming, bustling establishment plays loud hip-hop music. The food was amazing! The ramen is perfect for a cold night, although I would've preferred the soup to be hotter; it was just lukewarm. The broth, while very tasty, was a bit too salty for my
This is definitely the best ramen I've had in Chicago! The customer service was great the food was beyond delicious. Tie the ramen in with the beer and the sake is just a great experience for a group of friends. And don't even give me started on the great music they played here! classic hip hop it w
The ramen was pretty good I would recommend it. I got the Vegan Ramen because I didn’t want something heavy but I still added some pork to it. The food itself was good. We also got the Late night fried rice which is only served after 9pm. It’s fried rice with bacon bits, egg. It was good. I like spi
The yuzu lemonade was a refreshing NA drink. Our fried chicken and crispy tofu mantou buns were a delicious starter. The tantan-san ramen is a tasteful vegetarian option and the 10 hour tonkotsu was very tasty and filling.
This was my first visit and what a great impression. Didn’t know what to expect and was blown away by the food! The Kimchi & Fried Chicken Ramen was perfect!! The space is just a bit limited for bigger groups however.
Now this place is fun with amazing ramen. I think this is my favorite ramen place in Chicago. This is great for the younger crowd and a group of friends. I had a sumo bowl, it was amazing. I also had a pork bun. Delicious. Go after 9pm and have the late night fried rice.
This is a more Japanese American fusion ramen spot. Their ramen was good, but it wasn't super authentic or amazing. My favorite dish was actually their edamame hummus that comes with sesame rice crisp. They have a good lunch special deal, Express Lunch, that allows you to pick a rice dish, half bowl
I’ve had two different ramen bowls, from different locations, both were incredible. The staff is always super helpful, kind, and friendly. And the music played makes the atmosphere great.
We had the edamame hummus and had to order a second batch- it was incredible!! A must have. We also got the Avocado Tuna Tar tar and it was also delicious, although not enough for a reorder like the edamame. I had the Tonkatsu ramen and everything about it was perfect: broth on point, not too salty
The food is absolutely delicious. There's a little something for everyone, and it's very flavorful with just enough heat that you can still enjoy your meal.
Ramen was very good quality and the noodles were cooked well. Soup was flavored nicely! I got the tonkotsu ramen which comes with 3 slices of pork chashu. The ramen was a decent size for the price. I also had their fried chicken karaage nuggets which were super good!! It comes with a dipping sauce
Came here with my family for a birthday outing. Tonkotsu was great. Good broth, firm noodles, the pork strips were incredibly tender (like rib meat.) Everyone else seemed delighted with their food as well. My mother ordered the Tantan-san, which was very good by her admission, but a little too spicy
We’ve been to 2-3 other ramen-San locations and all have been amazing. The service is wonderful and even when they’re busy, they’re attentive of us. The ramen is delicious, karaage is a must have, and the yuzu sake bomb is a perfect pairing. One of our friends got the kimchi sake bomb and didn’t enj
