Monica was an excellent server, took great and prompt care of us without hovering. The food...OMG! We ordered chips and house-made guacamole. The chips were hot, fresh and homemade. We could not stop eating them! The steak sandwich was very impressive. A large piece of perfectly cooked steak,
I loved everything about this Chicago pizza institution. They were very busy but our server still took good care of us. Food was amazing, there's even a gluten free option. Highly recommended for some great casual eats.
This is an excellent local restaurant in the Hyde Park neighborhood in Chicago! The pizzas, steaks, and hamburgers are all delicious! Get over to Medici's for an excellent family restaurant!
I love this place...Nice a cozy for couples , friend & family to have a bit to eat....So I had delicious salmon burgers with coleslaw and a fruity gin drink šŸ¤—And my friend had a personal size pepperoni pizza.... This place, kind of reminds me of Dumpling restaurant & Bar on rush streetšŸ˜Š šŸ‘
The croissants are the best ever! I left my bread. Told the first person no to slice it. Left the bread. Called and went back to get the bread. The second person asked, ā€œDo you want it cut?ā€ I replied, ā€œNo, Iā€™m making a sub sandwich. Pick the bread up. The bread is cutšŸ˜±
Diner with a very Italian vibe. There are actually different vibes which coexists.very old place vibe , story teller vibe Their wooden furniture is all scribbled showing the age of the restaurant and also the No of stories born there. 55 years of experience and this shows in their pizzas. Though I f
The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing. And I was thoroughly happy with the food and service. I'd go every week if I was a local.
Food was delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't build my own monster sandwich, due to the Art Festival that day, so I went with my 2nd choice. Glad I did. Chicken Alfredo was so good! Hubby and son got burgers and fries. They enjoyed those as well. This was our first time. We'd definitely like to come
Delicious baked goods, great sandwiches and soups. What can you say about this place that hasnā€™t already been said. Itā€™s good food, at solid prices. My wife has gone to this place for years and introduced it to me a few years back and they just donā€™t disappoint. My go to is their Cajun turkey san
Classic for good reason! Great for eating with family and friendsā€”particularly good pizza and drinks. They also have good plant-based sandwich options. I also like the steak quesadillas. The upstairs outdoor seating is great when it is warm.
Went for a rooftop lunch and had a very pleasant experience. Our server was fun, and the food was delicious. I got the Spinach Lasagna, with plain Cheesecake for desert. Nice portion sizes.
The yam beer was pretty interesting, definitely worth the try. The personal sized garbage pizza was a tasty compact pizza. The atmosphere is the highlight, all the bricks are signed from dates as old as 1996. Cool place!
I had the personal pepperoni pizza that is always delicious and my sister had the "garbage" pizza. We both enjoyed our pizzas and they were HUGE! I however did not like the apple pie. The crust was to thick, no juice and it lacked a good Cinnamon/sugar ratio.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good prices and value for what it is. The food came quickly and my family left happy. Good drink menu (including non-alcoholic options). The downside is my burger and fries were not hot, but the pizzas were very hot. The burger bum was too dry and the fries
Really fun atmosphere and really good food. I had the Garbage burger but it wasn't garbage! No sir! Or Ma'am. My wife had a sandwich with fig jam and manchego cheese with gluten free bread which she really enjoyed.
