Love the salads here..delicious food with white table cloths and linen service. Very large menu..delightful breakfasts plus experienced wait staff.
Excellent food and staff is unbelievable. The entire restaurant is watching the Chicago Cubs playing the world � series. Go Cubs!!!!

Got into town just in time for the World Cup final second half. Dashed into the Grill. The staff could,'t have been nicer at the in-between hour of 11 a.m.. Sat at the bar, had a caesar salad and a chicken wrap--excellent food--and saw our team win. What could be better.

Half an hour later, down Michigan Ave., a big black guy in a "Pogba" shirt and I embraced. The French don't win a World Cup every day! (And Pogba is my favorite French player)
Clean, polite service. Prices are reasonable and daily specials are well executed. It’s fine for lunch or drinks but you can do better for dinner.
Lots of beautiful dark wood paneling, white linens, and gallery walls of art. - Seared Ahi Tuna Sashimi is a fav.
We stopped here for our final dinner, it was a block from our hotel. Prices are fairly high (35ish+) per plate, but the portions are generous and the food was excellent. The steak was cooked to order and the mashed potatoes were very good.
We split a 16oz steak and two sides. Ended up around 100 dollars total with tip and a drink each.

Flawless from start to finish... the staff was extremely attentive, recommendations were excellent and the food prepared to perfection. If you are spending the day on Michigan Avenue and want a great dining experience to top off a day of shopping - this is the place to go. Ask to sit at a table with Bridgett and your experience will be the best it can be.... I’m highly skeptical of Michigan Avenue restaurants - this is a rare exception. 5 stars.

The mash potato side was a little salty, otherwise the salmon and white butter sauce was absolutely rich, filling and delicious! 😋
The staff is excellent here. We started with the spinach dip it was fantastic. I had the grilled Salmon and the lump crab cakes.Both were superb. My guy had the NY strip it was perfect. I had the Ruby red lemon drop martini. It was so good, I had another. He had an old fashioned, he said it was delightful. We've been here 4 times and each time has been the best dining experience
The food was Soo good. The staff was so nice. They recommended the kind of steaks we would like. And it was perfect. The appetizers with French Onion Soup and Shrimps Cocktail was yum too. Saba our table In-charge was an absolute darling.
I loved The Grill On the Alley. I went there last year for a nice dinner. The waitstaff was AMAZING. They were very attentive, they even worked as a team to ensure that we were doing well. They could not have been more polite. The atmosphere was great. I sat in the room with all the frames on the walls. It was very interesting to see the different works they had. The food was delicious! I'm going back this week and I cannot wait!
Had a reservation for Valentine's day. Dinner was delicious from the bone in pork chop and chicken pot pie. The bacon mac n cheese was nicely done. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu.This was our 1st time dining here and staying at the westin. Had great time i will definitely come back.
Great place for late-night drinks! We had a couple of martinis and and their shrimp cocktail appetizer. We were right off of Michigan Avenue and it was very easy to get in and out of this car. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. We plan to come back on another occasion

Pretty awesome place!
A friend of mine recommended coming here for their oyster happy hour on a Sunday afternoon where you get six oysters and a beer for $12. Since I had nothing else going on, I said sure. He told me the place opened at 5 so I should try to get there a little after 4:30. Boy was he right! By 4:45 the line waiting to get in was down the block.
At 5, they let us in and the place immediately filled to capacity with a few people stuck outside waiting. It is tiny but that's okay. We sat down, ordered our beers (nice selection!) and a dozen oysters. They go through a ton of oysters so it did not seem any had been sitting around. We had three varieties and they were all very good. There were some from Viriginia and the name escapes me but they were my favorite.
We had another dozen and another round of beers. The service was fairly quick and pretty friendly, although the bartender couldn't remember what we were drinking, but that wasn't a big deal.
This is a cool place with a nice, laid back vibe. I'm not a big oyster guy but I would certainly not object to hanging out here.
Everything about this place is top notch! We celebrated the new year by having a nice dinner at our hotel restaurant located at The Westin. My son ordered the filet mignon and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection with the right char on the outside! Unfortunately, my meal came out cold and since it was so busy I just let the situation go. The service is impeccable however. I took off a star because of the prices. All in all a good experience.
This place was absolutely amazing! The servers are very courteous and helpful in picking out a wine from their very large selection, and even let us try a sample of a wine we were interested in. The food was also outstanding, and definitely leaves you feeling full. The decor also adds to an overall beautiful experience.
This was a great place. The prices are a bit high but a nice place for a date or business dinner. I had the grilled pork chop, it was cooked perfectly, but rather fatty compared to others I've had. Service was excellent although the servers seemed rather rushed even on a slow night. Still great food, highly recommended.
