Went for the curling experience and warming igloo. While the curling was glide material not ice, it was still fun. Service was excellent. Appetizers while typical for chain were well made - cheese curds, fresh garlic bread, although the boneless wings were okay as is typical for boneless. Decent beer choices but the main issue is the reservations were for max 45 minutes and it was barely enough time to play a round and receive appetizers. It needs to be longer or prioritized better to maximize impact
Fun afternoon on navy pier. Had a mishap at the host stand but our server Brianna did a great job with a large group. Everyone had good and hot food. I’d reccomend the ribs and spinach dip.
While on vacation, we went to Navy Pier and decided to try Harry Caray's for dinner. We started off with the Wisconsin Cheese Curds, then I had the Holy Cow! Burger while my husband had The "108" Burger. The burgers may look average, but they were both really good.
The staff was nice and helpful, but they also kept looking at us funny when we were trying to walk around and look at the memorabilia cases after our meal. (The restaurant wasn't busy at all, and if they don't want people to look, why have so many displays?) We felt kinda uncomfortable on our way out, but the food was good.
Amazing, fast and friendly service. Very fast food (compared to other restaurants in the area) and very good food. Amazing atmosphere with a mini-museum inside of the owner's interests, great quantity and quality of tables, and good lighting. Good amount of food for the price (again, compared to other restaurants in the area), left feeling full for $15-20. Would definitely recommend and I will be visiting again.
I was first time there… lot of VIP from Sport etc been there… 100s of pictures from them and baseball rackets etc.. Trikots… nice food!
Ate here for dinner with my family while in Chicago last summer. We stumbled on after walking around Navy Pier for sometime and needed a place to recharge. The food was great and the service good. The atmosphere was really interesting with all of the cool memorabilia. Holy Cow!
I was surprised that the prices were not exorbitant. Not dive bar prices but reasonable. Loved the mac n cheese burger!
Located right on the navy pier which is convenient. It’s pretty spacious and made wait time very minimal on a weekend.
Food was decent.
Service was blah. Being in a hot tourist spot; service is as expected. Feels like they want you in and out. If you’re visiting Chicago- I’d say don’t stop by here as it seems to just be a tourist trap. Better to go out & experience something more local instead unless you’re in a time crunch & hungry while in navy pier.
Best place to eat around the pier. The restaurant is connected to the children’s museum so there is a lot to see. Lots of baseball memorabilia too. Food is not so great. Had the glazed salmon and it was so dry.
Amazing experience. The atmosphere was awesome. Even if you're not a baseball fan the history is so fun. Food was really good. I think it was one of a few places I didn't leave food. The entire staff was something else. They communicated with us and each other to make sure everyone was happy. Best I compliment I can give is...... Holy cow!
My friends and I came here, as they were holding a “TayGate” before the big Taylor Swift concert that night. The event was thrown by a different third party and they provided a buffet, a drink ticket, and the opportunity to get more drinks at the cash bar at Harry Caray’s. The food was delicious and there was a wide array, from chicken and waffles to cornbread, french fries, mac and cheese, pulled pork, coleslaw, the buffet went on! The drink selection was very good and they even accommodated our group to bring us other drinks that weren’t a part of the event. I would definitely come back here again to try more of their food and cocktails!
The food was better than I thought it would be given the reviews. The burger was good, not fantastic or holy cow, but it was decent. The salad my wife ordered was really good, and the ribs were plentiful. The Patron tree was neat, but mostly for show. The margarita mix was quite salty and not to my liking. Ryan, our server, was very attentive and great.
We called heading over and were told for a table of 7 we would wait about 10 min. When we got there (about 15 min later) we were told 45 min. We waited anyway because we really didn’t want to shop around for food at this point.
Once we were seated, our server came right over. Drinks were out fairly quickly. Food took about another 45 mins and it didn’t seem super busy. There were many empty tables. But they may have been short staffed in the kitchen so I get it.
Prices are surprisingly not bad here. For a touristy place, they could get away with hiking up prices but this was no different than any chain restaurant pricing. The food was good. Seemed like the noodles had been sitting under a heating lamp for a while but everything else seemed pretty fresh.
This place is in a great location. As soon as you walk in the navy pier shopping area, it’s within steps. There’s an outdoor seating area that I’d love to try out here too sometime. The memorabilia is fascinating and the place is iconic. If you’ve never been, so yourself a favor and go at least once. You won’t regret it.
The burger I had was Excellence perfectly done I asked for medium rare. However I'm giving them a 3-star instead of a four-star because the current menu is greatly reduced from what had previously been and what is shown online. For example there is no pulled pork options and there is no brisket options. If you don't want a burger or a chicken breast sandwich or a salad you're basically out of luck.
Decent place on Navy Pier. Made reservations on an August Saturday evening and arrived a couple of minutes before the time. Was seated promptly. Service was a tad slow but courteous which mad up for the slight delays. The restaurant was busy.
Ordered BBQ ribs with fries and a Hurricane for a drink. The ribs were pretty good. A tad overcooked but with good flavor. The hurricane was better than I had expected.
Overall, a nice experience before the Saturday fireworks 😁
Located in a very touristy area, but the prices were shockingly reasonable, and it wasn't too busy.
We all got burgers, beer, and some liquor. Service was great, and the food was very good.
Would recommend coming here in early afternoon between lunch and dinner.
