So glad to have this spot in the neighborhood! I've walked by and heard about it for years but had never been until a couple of weeks ago...every.single.bite of food I put in my mouth was delicious, and the drinks were great too! Will definitely go back, a great place to bring family or meet friends.

I got a recommendation a few years ago to try this restaurant. What took me so long? Loved the hot tapas: spicy shrimp, bacon wrapped figs, sort rib, skewered chicken, and goat cheese in marinara. A cucumber salad was the only child dish my friends and I had. And the wine. Yes, perfect pairing. The service was outstanding. And seeing how many interacted with the restaurant staff, there are lots of repeat customers. I understand why. It won't take me forever to return.

Seriously the best food! The goat cheese on roasted veggies is to die for. I took my boyfriend here and he thought the vegetarian food wouldn't be good, but he got converted instantly and wants to go back here. Waiters and waitresses are really awesome too! You literally can't go wrong with this place. I'm craving the food just writing about it.

Best meal we have had while visiting Chicago. Jill was the best server we have had and when we visit again we will be sure to come back.

I'm so happy we found this hidden treasure. Last night was our first time here and everything was great. We arrived for Happy Hour and started with four tapas and sangrias and ended up ordering two more tapas and then dessert. We loved everything we tried and can't wait to go back and try some more. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

There's one word to sum up the items on the menu . . . "scrumptious!" The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is top notch. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates, mac & cheese, and lobster ravioli. Yum!

I hate sharing the secret of this place, but they deserve the rating! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, especially the Jalapeño Gnocchi and the Brussel Sprouts. We'll definitely be going back!

I had the Tuna Tower, it was AH-MAZING! But nothing compares to the Black Bean Cakes! I’m 3.5 hours away from Twisted Tapas but am seriously considering driving up just for those! Maybe delivery is an option?? Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and friendly staff!

Awesome food and Jill will make your experience much better. The red sangria is awesome. Food wise we had the beef in blue cheese sauce, octopus, tortilla (Spanish omelette, and the jicama salmon (special) everything was excellent.

Just ate dinner here for the first time. Had a few different plates. All were excellent. The food was full of flavor, the sangria was great, and the service by Lauren was phenomenal. Definitely have the twisted cigars, paella, and the chocolate mousse cake. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is that the empanadas come out on top of a light sauce that made them soggy but that is just the way they plate them here. Definitely coming back after today.

Visited here late on a Friday night at 9pm with a group of 5 and were able to sit at a perfect table right by the windows immediately. We were helped quickly and the menu was explained thoroughly with recommendations. Tapas came out individually but paired with similar dishes. Wonderfully delicious. Hope to return soon.

Warm atmosphere, very pleasant over all experience. I would recommend! Now I'm excited to try more tapas!

Start to finish, this place was great. **NOTE** They prefer that you have a reservation. We walked in without one, but they sat us anyway. The sangria is WONDERFUL. If you don't like sangria that's more wine than fruit/juice, you won't like it. I started with the cucumber salad, had the pork medallions, and the stuffed zucchini and all were really well-made. I was stuffed by the time dessert came, for which I had the seasonal pumpkin flan. Delicious. Expect to spend at least 1.5 - 2 hours here cause food can take a while, but it's worth it. The service was also very honest; our server was very cold, but in a funny way. I highly recommend this place.

Cool little local tapas place with a great selection of food and a decent selection of wine and beer. They also have done good sangria selections. The food here was excellent. Just about everything we ordered (all small plates to share) were good. The atmosphere is OK; a bit quiet and awkward and they really need to put something else on the TV over the bar. The food is the reason to come here.

This is truly one of my favorite neighborhood restaurant's in the city. Perfect for intimate chat with a friend or loved ones. The food is always hot, delicious and served quickly. We didn't need to direct the waiter what order to bring our food out he simply knew. Not only was I impressed with the service but each dish was bursting with flavor. **Bravo**Twisted Tapas you are amazing!!!

Absolutely amazing place. Great food, Great Staff, Wonderful environment! My partner and I go here all the time. Every time we have gone, the food has always been amazing, still my favorite is the spicy potatoes, and the Grilled Beef Tenderloin. The Jilltini is also an awesome drink as well. Everything we have ordered has always been fantastic. There is so much to try and share. Can't wait to go again.

This was a veeeeery tasty experience!! The menu options were varied and affordable (we didn't get any plates over $9). They were not, in my experience, generally traditional dishes, but they do HAVE traditional dishes, so multiple palates and cravings can be accommodated and satisfied. Standout dishes were a tilapia in a sage & butter sauce, and a baked goat cheese. The service was excellent and friendly, the vibe was chill. The bar is varied but not quite full, so they can accommodate most standard drinks, but fall short on specialties; don't come with a craving for a particular drink until you've seen what they have to offer. There IS a list of specialty cocktails. Take the time to read the various chalkboards, as the humor is dry and fun. Save room for dessert, as the Night & Day is very tasty, and surprisingly light. I'll definitely be back, as there were so many dishes that I still want to try!!

Always fresh, with accommodating service. When I kept asking for more coffee during one brunch, the server just left me the carafe. I've enjoyed every dish I've tried, and the drinks are good too. Perfect place for meeting up with friends.

Great service - love you Diane! The food is just delicious. Great menu with a lot of options, one more delicious than the next. And the sangria is great, aside from what one Yelp comment said which it hey have up on the chalk board in the restaurant. Favorites are the jalapeño gnocchi, short rib, empanadas, and bacon wrapped dates to name a few. But I have not had anything I didn't like.

Our server gave great recommendations! A group favorite was the baked goat cheese and the stuffed mushrooms. The paella had a vinegar-y taste that I wasnt a big fan of, but the rest of the dishes were great and service was fast.

Quaint little restaurant with a casual atmosphere. Started off with a sangria and tried several of their offerings. Each of the plates was well presented and just as tasty as they looked. The escargot was fantastic and served on a crostini. My favorite dish was the jalapeno gnocchi that had a nice but subtle kick to it.

Had a very lovely dinner here with my partner. Great food, great wine, exactly what we could have hoped for. Nice and quiet on a Wednesday night, but I imagine there are crowds on weekend evenings.

Very unique and a really good twists on traditional Spanish tapas recipes. Highly recommend 4 multiple people in a few parties to wine and dine and experience something fresh and flavorful and new can be a little pricey but nothing that will break the bank. As long as everybody pictures in you shouldn't have a problem at all. Plates are about 8.50 to $10 each and there are a great way to share new memories and experiences with the people around you. A++

Twisted Tapas is one of my favorite go to restaurants. The chef is amazing. I have eaten here probably at least 25 times or more and each time the food is amazing. The fact their food is always great no matter how many times I go is a testament to how a great a place this really is. It is tough for a restaurant to have great quality food night after night but Twisted Tapas never fails to deliver the best food and service possible. I Love Twisted Tapas and you will too!

Our visit was a bit strange. The hostess showed us 3 places to sit (we reserved a table ahead), then plopped our menus on a table and when we asked about one she'd shown us, she informed us it was for parties of 4 only and kinda walked away. Our waiter was nice, but let us order something he later told us they were out of. Our food also took a while - is it normal to eat one plate of tapas, then wait a while between dishes? Seemed like they may have just had an off night. Still would go back - the food was delightful.
