My husband and I both loved Taxim! We are foodies, for sure, and quite particular. Believe me, Taxim is wonderful. Service was extremely friendly and very, very knowledgeable, and our dinner was excellent from start to finish. Such awesome, creative preparation! Everything we had was delicious! The tzatziki was the best I've ever eaten in my entire life! The fritters and eggplant were very good as well. My husband and I also shared the whole roasted bass - WOW! Cooked perfectly! We also enjoyed the Ghirardelli chocolate out-of-this-world dessert and a nice bottle of wine! Bravo! Two thumbs up!

Taxim is a definite place to dine! The ambience of the venue takes you far back. The food itself is incredible. David brings out so many flavors in each of his dishes - flavorful yet sophisticated. Fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone ✨

This place was amazing! Recommended by a friend and everything exceeded expectations. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and quick! I loved the variety of veggie choices too! The giant beans bowl was definitely my favorite. All the feta was so good!! The duck gyro was good but I thought lacked something other than meat and the duck was a bit overcooked. The homemade French fries were awesome!

Really like this place!! I've been here so many times and being friends with all the time. They have a really nice atmosphere, super well decorated. They have a heated rooftop area which I've eaten in once. My favorite things to order here are the hummus, souvlakia, and duck gyro. The food is tapas style so it's meant to be shared, which makes it easier to try new things from here. So far I haven't ordered a dish I didn't like.

The food was AMAZING. Some of the best food I've had. We sat on the roof patio. The patio is by the train but didn't really notice it. Tip is included in your final price.

My friends and I went to Taxim for dinner. The service was awesome and food was great for sharing in our group of 6 (including the entrees). We had 2 vegetarians and they also enjoyed eating there. We left feeling full and satisfied. We were especially grateful to the staff for being so courteous since we didn't realize they closed at 9pm on Thursdays. They didn't rush us and gave us wonderful service. Thank you to our server (sorry didn't get his name).

We had such a great experience here I had to write a review! First of all, you need to get the whole fish. It was one of the best I've ever had and there was so much of it. Second, the service was incredible! You can tell they're passionate about their Greek wine offerings and every glass we tried from their recommendation was perfect. I will absolutely be back soon.

Amazing food with an equally incredible rooftop terrace. We ordered the tzatziki, giant beans, wild mushroom flatbread, and the octopus to share. The octopus was especially delicious and had a great flavor and texture!

This is the best Greek food I’ve had in Chicago hands down. Cristina was awesome recommended all the right things with wine pairings. Absolutely worth the visit and will be back.

Perfect patio with great vibes and staff. Definitely get the lemon chicken entree, it’s super juicy and flavorful. Everything I’ve tried is always consistently good. They’re open on Mondays which seems rare nowadays
