I dined here once. The food was great. I ordered: spicy curry salmon, onion rings, spring roll. I will return next time I'm in Chicago.
I do enjoy various Nepali and Indian food. Servers are very friendly and explained menus well. Nepali dumplings (momo) are very tasty and I look forward for more visits.
First time trying this restaurant and this type of food. I was very sceptical on trying it, but my family wanted it. The restaurant was a bit small and tables a bit too close to each other. It's a nice spot nothing fancy. We actually had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a table. After waiting OMG it d
Awesome place for Indian food.Excellent food! Taste was delicious and service is very satisfactory. The are having lots of options in veg non veg as well. The Nepali momos was ultimate in taste. After India I only found real taste in Momos. The quality of the food is consistently good. food was fresh
An okay-ish place for momos. I wish the filling were better seasoned. Their soup momos were tastier to my surprise. They had some nice chicken egg rolls - crispy and freshly made.
I wouldn’t really recommend the biryani here. The other dishes are probably better.
I'm always more critical of Indian restaurants being of Indian descent but the food was great! The seating wasn't ideal but I would definitely order out one of their meals! The chicken meal is very reasonably priced and delicious. My only qualm was their inflexibility to substitute regular naan for
My boyfriend ordered for us through UberEats. This was my first time trying this kind of food, and he's been recommending I try it. We both got the Chicken Tikka Masala, and shared steamed Basmati rice. We also ordered one each of the original Naam and the garlic Naam. We dipped the Naam in the Masa
Nice Desi restaurant.
5 stars for food taste, but 4 stars for quantity.
5 stars for service and courteous staff.
3 stars for atmosphere. When I visited, it was sweltering inside, and the Air Conditioner was not working.

Updating the review: today I ordered take and the contrast was night and day. Today the food was actually very good. The spice levels were good and despite the food being a take out, it was still nice and warm upon eating (9-11 min walk).

So much food! Flavors were on point.
Rice was soo fluffy and flavorful, the butter chicken was tender and rich
Eggplant was like silk
Momos were so good, freshly steamed and the dipping sauces were the cherry on top
Took one star off because they FORGOT our garlic naan, and
Cozy, friendly restaurant in the South Loop offering Nepalese and north Indian dishes. It's a must-stop if you are a foodie or just enjoy good food, which it does. Its selection is just enouh not to overwhelm the novices. Offers take-out, pick-up and dine-in. So glad this restaurant is on the South
excellent in every way! We stayed strictly vegetarian and the flavors were beyond incredible. Is huge variety of options. Incredibly friendly staff. casual but very inviting.
So.. This is a good Indian restaurant. The food was nice, the service was great, and the Lassi was excellent!! 👍
We had Dal Makhni, Veggie Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Masala - very decent and soft. The Garlic naan was yum, the Paneer naan could have been better!
🌟 The staff is very nice and polite.
We have been ordering from Himalayan for years and it is some of the best food in this city. Even when we moved to the edge of the city at one point, we would still drive an hour to go to its Wabash location for the food. The people are great, the food is amazing, and you really can't go wrong with
I've been looking for delicious Indian food options downtown. A friend introduced me to this place. It is amazing! I had shrimp curry, and chicken biryani (spicy). It hit the spot, and I look forward to returning sooner than later.
We loved this super casual spot. We had the lamb vindaloo and the chat samosas. Delicious! The Vindaloo was rich and the perfect heat level, the lamb perfectly slow cooked. The samosa were sweet and spicy. The prices were reasonable. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly when we needed a quick casual sto
Lunch was excellent! authentic garlic naan bread, tandoori chicken was cooked on an iron, and the Chicken Vindaloo was flavorful at medium spicy
Our waiter was also kind to us and checked on us a few times. We came here on a Thursday during brunch hour so it wasn't too busy
I have lots of allergies, so it’s very seldom I try new things. They went above and beyond to make sure I could safely eat here. The food is delicious! Will absolutely come here again when I’m the area.
