I was here earlier this week and had an incredible dinner. This spot is nestled into Wrigleyville, and was a pleasant contrast to many nearby spots that provide a lot of pub grub and barbecue. All of our food was absolutely wonderful and the ambience was perfect for the chilly winter night. The tempura fish tacos were unbelievably good and tastes so very fresh. My family members with me also had a great meal experience, they tried the meatloaf, tomato soup/grilled cheese, and vegetarian chili. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO TRY THE SWEET POTATO FRIES WITH THE WARM GOAT CHEESE TO DIP THEM IN!!! We had a great time here and will certainly be back

I always love supporting this local farm-to-table restaurant. The outdoor seating is bordered by what looks to be edible vegetation. The inside is covered with beautiful art. Even with an afternoon Cubs game we were able to be seated without issue. We enjoyed the Chop Salad and the Greens and Grains salad. They are sizeable portions. I also enjoyed a mocha BOWL (think mocha served like soup covered in whipped cream)!!)

The gruyere dip was really good. The burger was decent; I wouldn't order again. Many places with a much better burger. The chicken sandwich was good. The Mac and cheese was light and good. Cocktails were pretty good. Service was friendly and prompt. I would go back to try dinner and the beer next time.

Food was great just missing a little bit of flavor, specially the mac & cheese. Comparing food to other restaurants in chicago. Service was outstanding with very friendly staff. Atmosphere was chill with pleasant vibe both indoor and outdoor.

there's something so satisfying eating here knowing that the guy you had an unreasonable crush on is a huge loser and if you're in love with a loser that makes you one too, so just ghost the guy and take yourself out to eat salmon and enjoy the fact that your brain is quiet now not having to psychoanalyze a person who just doesn't like you, the food is good

Uncommon Ground (the Central Perk of Chicago??) has good food and great service, but I wasn't down with the horrible 80's music and vibe (Michael Jackson-- three freaking songs, no less-- and "The Boss" can die horrible musical deaths for all I care). Food: vegan hash and the chilaquiles were both tasty and with a kick to them. Coffee was decent as well. The seats were uncomfortable though.

Recently came here for a wedding rehearsal party. We had a ton of people and our server Luis was just incredible. Our party was so indecisive and took forever to order but he was so patient and kind the entire time. Delicious food, awesome cocktails, but I’ll be returning for the great service. Highly recommend.

The gnocchi in a pesto sauce is a must try! It's DELICIOUS! The vegan stirfry was disappointing - half the ingredients were missing. But the waitress was courteous enough to knock it off our bill. The beer was good - it was a coffee stout that we ordered. Very Good service. We enjoyed it overall and will definitely be back.

Delicious food before the game! Our waiter was fantastic too. He has great recommendations on food and drinks. We got the goat cheese artichoke dip and now I want to make it at home. Also the farmers market breakfast and pulled pork Benedict are delicious. Highly suggest!

Overall: Good food and great atmosphere, just wish there were more options and less $$. The good: The ambience of the entire restaurant is really cool, with a lot of artistic decorcations and lighting. The service was very friendly and attentive and helpful with the menu. The food is good, with appropriate portion sizes and fresh ingredients. Nice patio The not-so-good: To be blunt, it's too expensive. The food was good but not great, and certainly didn't warrant the prices they had. My dad had two eggs, potatoes, and toast, and it was $15. That's absurd. The menu is interesting, but there aren't a ton of options on it. Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 8/10 Food: 7/10

We went here on Tuesday night and we were immediately seated. Although the service was slightly slow, it was not a big deal because there were very busy and trying their best. We got a beer, couple of cocktails, the super food salad, the risotto (which is surprisingly vegan), miso cauli and my boyfriend got the chicken. The food and drinks were really good and our server was the nicest. They even gave us a complimentary dessert to compensate for the wait...which was really appreciated. I would definitely go back to try the vegan burger.

We happened to pass this gem on our way to a sushi restaurant. My wife read organic brewery on the window and we decided to stop on our way back to the train after dinner. We had the best experience here! It started with the host greeting us and making us feel welcome. It seemed that he was slightly confused because we were asking some fairly odd (odd because they probably should have been obvious!) questions, such as “Is this a coffee shop? Can we sit down?” He took it in stride and realized we didn’t know what we actually walked into. Turns out this place is a brewery AND a roaster of fine coffee! My wife had the chai, our friend had a slightly(!) adult beverage, and I had a stout. We also ordered the bread pudding. I highly recommend the stout. Absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the bread pudding and the chai as well, but, damn! I’m going to go back for that stout! If you happen to be wondering around Wrigleyville and you need coffee and beer and bread pudding and a great time, stop by Uncommon Ground. You will not regret it. We sure as hell didn’t.
