This is a one of a kind "fast food" restaurant. I like to think of it as the Chipotle of Indian food. I had the chicken tikka wrap. They have standard Indian curry dishes, both meat and vegetarian curries, and they wrap them up in a pita-like bread. It's like an Indian burrito. Everything is a la carte, but if you get the house made chips (I think they're plantain chips, but I'm not sure), they give you this awesome sweet and spicy ketchup dipping sauce. If you love Indian food but don't have the time or money for a full service Indian restaurant, definitely try this place out!

Tasty and fast Indian food! If you live in chicago then you have to go here at least once. The owner says they have food trucks as well.

Wraps are small. My chicken lacked flavor but the lamb was amazing. If you’re hungry, I suggest a bowl as the wraps are smaller in size and don’t come with veggies on the side like the bowl. This place is convenient if you’re looking for a quick Indian food fix. Would return.

Great indian street food. Found out that this is a food chain in Chicago. But we had good experience at this particular location. Service was quick and good.

The green chutney(sauce) is brilliant! This is toooo good for Americansied indian food. The Chickpea wrap was amazing. Paneer wrap was a little spicy to my liking. But still very tasty.

Recently visited Chicago and got a chance to try this restaurant. Brilliant idea on the menu and the best part is you can grab them on the go if you are on a tight schedule like us. All the dishes tasted good(we couldn’t stop with one😋). I specially enjoyed the chana wrap. Must try!!! You will never regret it.

Overall, the food is delicious. The dal, the messy samosa, and the wrap were all tasty in their own right. I had no gripes with any of the flavors. I would absolutely eat here again. You’re going to pay a little bit to dine here, but it is absolutely worth it if you’re looking for flavorful Indian food on the go.

Was visiting Chicago and stopped by this place on my way back from Navy Pier. Lovely Indian style taco bell I would say. Loved the paratha wrap with meat and veg stuff. And also the Indian street food like samosa. I got the paratha with lamb curry. I was really happy with their assorted lassi drinks. I tried the pistachios lassi for the first time and really liked it so much that I had to go back and buy two more bottles lol. It was so delicious 😋😋😋 The paratha wrap was good and I believe it must be ate fresh so it's crispy and nice. It was not as amazing as I thought after I took it to my hotel room. Definitely a great place to visit and try some affordable Indian meal near Navy Pier.

Fortunate to get Too Good To Go from here. The mini samosas are really good. Got the chicken tikka and veggies which were good as well. The lassi is thick and sweet. Will come back for the lamb curry

Much-need fast-casual spot in Streeterville that is not a big burger or sandwich chain. Food is always fresh, fragrant, and flavorful. Ideal if you want something you can eat while you walk around downtown or the lakefront. Very affordable especially for the area. Menu could be a bit larger, but the staple options are very solid.

Review Date: November 26th, 2018 Bombay Wraps was… the bomb. A final stop on my post-blizzard trip to Chicago. After grabbing dessert and a coffee at Stan’s Donuts, I walked with said coffee to Bombay for some real food for the first time on this day. While scouring my GPS for a place to eat at Stan’s, I saw Bombay Wraps. On a cold day, a hot meal sounded wonderful. Of all the places detailed in this blog, there hasn’t been an Indian place until know. It took about 10 minutes to walk there from Stan’s, due to the traffic and the amount of people out and about. Once I got there, I was surprised to see it mostly empty during lunch time. Maybe I had just missed the rush. Oh well, all the easier for me to order. The menu was kind of foreign to me. I knew quite a few of the terms, but that doesn’t mean I knew how they tasted. A few minutes passed of looking over the menu before I had to decide between the chicken tikka and chicken reshmi. In the end, I picked the chicken tikka. The lady cooking it asked if I wanted it spicy. I quickly said “yes” before she could finish her question. The way they make it is almost like subway. They have all the ingredients out and make it as you walk towards the cashier. I was given my food before I could get my change from paying. I grabbed a seat at one of the stools that was along the front wall, so I could look out of the store front as I ate. I noticed my wrap was smaller than I expected but that was fine as I had most of a massive donut a few minutes before. As I tried to pick up this soaking and messy wrap, trepidation set in. I was about to taste my first Indian cuisine and I was nervous. Wrap in mouth, I take my first bite… and am pleasant surprised by how delicious it was. Once I finish the first bite, the spicy kicked in and I took my first sip of the coffee I brought with me. It did nothing to settle the slight burn that was setting in. Wow. I took my time eating the wrap as I was trying to enjoy all the new flavors and tastes I was experiencing. It was delightful. Sadly, the wrap was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. For $5 and change, I was expecting a bit more to the wrap but the quality of what I got couldn’t be beat. Each bite was filled full of flavor and a spicy kick that couldn’t be beat. Alas, this was my last stop before I resumed some family duties. I was in a hurry to get back to where I needed to be that I forgot to snap a good photo of the inside. It was a bit sparse when it came to decorations but there was plenty of room to handle a lunch/dinner rush. This may have been my first Indian cuisine sampling but I doubt it will be my last.

I stop by here all the time for their chicken tikka wraps. So bomb. The staff is super friendly and very quick. I’m sometimes in and out with my food in under 2 minutes. All of the food tastes super fresh and is full of flavor. Huge fan.

The wraps and rolls tasted like authentic Indian food. I had ordered Cheese Paneer wrap and samosa roll. The rolls tasted better than the wraps as the wraps were basically frozen rotis that had filling. Price isn't expensive and service is quick.

Had a taste for lamb today, so I ordered from Bombay Wraps. Food came well packaged. No leaks. I ordered the Lamb Curry wrap and lentil soup. Very tasty. They give you a choice of how spicy the curry is. I love spicy food, so I ordered the Spicy Cilantro mint chutney. I couldn't wait for the next bite. Wasn't too spicy. Just enough to make it delicious.

Fast food Indian in a wrap, a roll or a bowl. Service is great. Food is unique. And experience is fun. Highly recommend but be ready for some spice. Even the mild is spicy.

This food was very flavorful and affordable. $5.49 for each wrap (Spicy Reshmi and Tikka) the cheapest I’ve seen in Chicago. However the wraps were small in my opinion. Would have been 5 if it weren’t for the size.

Great place for Indian food in the downtown. We went there after a tiring day to try out and the food made our day. Food: With a good number of vegetarian options available, we went for a Potato & Cauliflower Medley Rice Bowl (+egg) and Chickpea Chana Rice Bowl, along with Sweet Potato Fries and Mango Lassi. Both the bowls were amazing in taste. Potato & Cauliflower Medley was spiced just right. Pickled onions were great and the cilantro mint chutney gave a good fresh punch to the entire bowl. Chickpea Chana Rice Bowl was good too with fresh tomatoes and cucumber making it very fresh in appearance as well as taste. Sweet Potato Fries were good. What stole the show was the Mango Lassi which was great and very refreshing. We loved it so much we got it twice. They allow BYOB and also have gluten-free and vegan options which was good for my wife as she wanted to avoid dairy. Ambiance: The ambiance was good. They have the seating area just as you enter the restaurant. As you move towards the ordering counters, you see an arrangement of Indian dry snacks, biscuits, tea, spices, Maggi etc on one side - I am assuming for sale as Indian population is their target customer group. Lighting could improve. Staff: The staff was good and quite friendly. The service was quick too. No issues there. Overall, it's a great place to have a quick Indian meal. Given that they also deliver in the nearby areas, it's convenient as well.
