Very cool place to hang out, drink some beers and people/boat watch. Prices are decent for the riverwalk, staff is nice, and lots of room to sit under the trees and enjoy the music.

The service we received today was impeccable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate guests who needed some assistance. They even helped us find an elevator to accommodate a rollator and knee scooter. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. Overall an amazing experience. I'll definitely be back and would recommend this to everyone I know.

Great spot on the Riverwalk, plenty of seating a lot of fun things to do like play a game of bags or they have an oversized game of Jenga. We had the cheeseburger was quite good and affordable ,friendly staff well poured drinks love love the island ambiance!
Great venue and the entertainment (Ken) was spot on. We're from Hollywood Florida and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Made for a great Sunday. We'll be back!

Went to the chicago riverwalk with our toddler to watch fireworks and saw this food point . We have ordered street tacos and pizza for us. Both items tastes so good. Pizza is awesome didn’t ate such pizza crust and pizza earlier

Really cool tiki spot next to the river. Island vibe with urban landscape all around. Drinks and food were good. If you plan on getting two of the same mixed drinks, get a bucket, it’s $4 cheaper.
The chicken tacos were very yummy! If your on the riverwalk and are hungry.. Stop here!
Cool casual spot for drinks by the water! They have a bunch of picnic style tables you can sit at and enjoy the view of the river. Came here Saturday afternoon—it was warm weather so everywhere along the Riverwalk was packed! The line for drinks here was super long and took a while. They offer “bucket” drinks for $27 which is great—roughly triple the amount (if not more) of just a regular size drink which is $15! Food options are limited but they do offers a few snack options.
Our company hosted a river cruise outing and the Island Party Hut was great. It was a much more intimate setting than the usual architecture cruises - so we were able to network a bit more. The staff was fun, shared chicago stories along the way...but not too much, so we could talk with each other. The river tour they took was a lot longer/ better than others I've been on as well. And the captain, staff and bartender were all lovely - great to be around. Highly recommend!
It's such a fun and underrated spot on the riverwalk! It's not super crowded and the fall drinks they had were really good. I went on a lake cruise with them and it was so magical, the views were unreal!
Nice place along river with lots of seating, snack foods, and drinks (including alcohol) available. Sanitization of tables between guest, no public restroom, however the view is beautiful. The line was long on a Sunday after noon! One of the few places open along the river though! Prices are medium to high! Drinks were strong though! Photos are nothing fancy just the view from where we sat the bar and other seating along the riverwalk! Great place to people watch!
This place is my nirvana! Great vibes, great drinks, great atmosphere! By the riverfront, there’s tons of picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, tables, and benches to sit and chill at. Watch boats go in and out of Lake Michigan. They also have games that are free to play like ping pong, connect four, and cornhole. They got reggae playing and sometimes have bands playing Caribbean music. And the drinks are amazing. The painkiller is AMAZING! They also have a tiki themed boat you can rent out. This is my summer spot to people watch and drank! Check it out. You’ll love it!
On our first day in Chicago we went for a walk through Millennium Park and then round to the River walk. Thirst got the better of us so we stopped here for a quick beer which turned into a few beers and cocktails. A really lovely place to sit by the river, have a great cocktail and watch the world go by.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, the evenings sights we're beautiful, the 🎇 fireworks 🎆 were a nice touch. Drinks could've been a bit stronger with less ice but overall it was a good experience.
We came on a Saturday afternoon for drinks and games. It is a great place to getaway from the city. It is close enough that it's easily accessible but tucked away east of the touristy boat rides. While it was busy it seemed to avoid the huge crowds of Michigan Ave. I think most people walking along the river walk, stop at the boats, and turn back not knowing it's here. While we didn't eat here, the food looked pretty blah, I suggest eating ahead of time.
Overall the experience was chill. I had ordered their Painkiller drink which I have had at other places which is supposed to be creamy and made with OJ/pineapple juice-kinda like a Pina Colada. However, mine was mostly rum and the coconut was curdled, could not taste the juices. I went to the bar again and asked if I could have a different one since the other one resembled cottage cheese. Thankfully, the bartender was able to make me a different drink, but one insisted that it was exactly how it was supposed to be. Again, I have had them in the past and they were creamy but who knows maybe they just use a different coconut substance but idk who would want to drink chunks? Good news is the Mai Tais were great!
This is a great place to hold a special event. The management and wait staff bent over backwards to make our party very special. I can not say enough about the Island Party Hut and Cruise
I ordered an alcoholic cocktail for $16 and it tasted like water. I complained and they didn't care. $5 for a Coke. Just buy a $8+ beer but don't spent money on the cocktails. Other than that, things were good.
