Dog friendly beach restaurant. Live music, I didn't expect this in a Chicago Park. The burger and the grilled Caprese sandwich were tasty as was the lobster roll. The taco salad was missing the chips mentioned on the menu.
Fun place, looking forward to the summer when it's open again.
My band plays here regularly and we always love being at The Dock. The staff works hard , the food is great and you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful lakefront spot to spend a summer evening. It just seems like everyone is always enjoying themselves here.
Had great food with nice view. The chicken and chips were nicely seasoned. Also recommend chicken quesadillas.

Went to this place for the first time the other day and had a great experience. Customer service was very friendly… The weather was nice and it was very peaceful out. They have a nice selection of beer as well as some good beach food whatever that is I had burgers and fries so that was delicious. But I do recommend going to
this place for an evening to unwind.

I love and hate telling people about here because it's amazing and I don't want it to become too popular. Then again I want it to thrive.
Drinks and live music are always amazing, fried cheese curds are some of the best this side of the border.
In the end, amazing place, amazing views. Plus if you fish the Montrose beach area, the bait shop is right near by, so if you didn't catch a fish you can catch a beer while hearing some good tunes.

I'm a bit of a fish and chips aficionado, thinking that the best can only be had in London and to its North, and made from fresh Cod. Enter The Dock into the picture. Their Whitefish fish and chips are exceptional, and the best I've had on this side of the pond (and I don't mean Lake Michigan). The server was friendly and efficient, and the surrounding views are pretty good too! Casual atmosphere and a great place to be in nice weather.
I have never had a bad experience here. I LOVE this place. Went today for lunch- Morgen was our server- and was wonderful time! They suggested the blackened fish tacos and they were perfect- Also had the shrimp skewers. It’s so fun there! I always feel like I’m on vacation.
Nice little restaurant at Montrose Beach. The service and the foods/drinks were pretty good.

Yeah so! I stopped by here because all I wanted was a can of soda. But I didn't have any. There was also something strange going on with their carbonated machine.
So Kathleen was nice enough to Simply give me some ice and water and I appreciate that. She was also very pleasant for the most part as well.
Perfect place to grab a burger and watch the kite surfers and the waves crash against the shoreline. Food was unexpectedly great and the service was perfect. Drinks were reasonably priced and delicious. You cannot beat the view.
Okay I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews. I came here with a party of 10 last Saturday and had to wait about 20 minutes - no biggie! The pierogis and cheese curds are sooooo good! The chicken tacos were good, too. Everyone who came with had never been before and everyone loved it.
3.6 stars. Great location but so-so amenities. For a full service bar, no Scotch,Bourbon or Rye? Jack Daniels or nothing...
Slippery floors, be careful. Couldn't read the menu at dusk with lighting provided. Food was underwhelming. Service was average. Friendly, yet harried servers. Bathroom was pretty pathetic. Good place to bring visitors but not my first choice. ADA/Handicapped parking available with proper placard. Parking lot access 125 yards east of bait shop...
Our favorite beachfront restaurant! It's a very relaxed atmosphere with a more local and mature crowd than others closer to downtown. For such a small shop, the food is fantastic. 4-stars for service is nothing against the people that work here - just that when it gets busy dishes can take a long time to come out.
